I walk away in silence,
Fighting back the tears.
I didn’t want to see it,
You confirmed all my fears!

I felt my heart shatter when I saw you kiss.
Feeling nothing but sadness,
A beat my heart did miss.

I hear a voice behind me,
I slowly turn around,
And you come running over,
I stare at the ground.

What’s up you ask quietly,
I just shake my head.
You push my face up gently so I’m looking at you instead.

Nothing is wrong I answer and I start to walk away,
But you grab hold of me,
Forcing me to stay.

Look at me you say,
I look up into your eyes.
I regret it that second,
Inside my heart it cries!

I couldn’t hold it in no-more,
The tears streamed down my cheeks,
And finally I released the pain I’d been feeling for all these weeks!

You pulled me in close,
Held me in your arms.
As if you wanted to protect me,
Keep me from all harm!

As I cried I thought…
If only you knew!
That these tears I’m crying…
They are all coz of you…
