DeathStroke007:Apprentice ke? All along I've used the word companion for them and not apprentice. Non of them is a disciple to the other. They are co-preachers. So far you've seen you started a topic you don't know jack about. Next time study well before posting. ![]() |
DeathStroke007:Smh see kweshion chai. Jesus had 12 apostles and many disciples. Neither Paul nor Barnabas was among these 12 apostles. Paul was the one who later referred to himself as an apostle and that doesn't mean he is among the twelve. Neither the Bible nor paul nor Barnabas himself ever referred to himself as an apostle. So saying Barnabas was an apostle and Jesus instructed him to write his gospel sounds crazy. If there are people who were with Jesus all along and so write about him first hand, it should be those among the 12. If you noticed, Paul himself never wrote first hand account of Jesus' life but more of visionary accounts or the ones he read. |
DeathStroke007:Guy shift joor. Your lines are becoming too lame ![]() If you know everything about paul or even your Barnabas why not post it here. I do hope it won't be that ridiculous muslim mantra of Paul and Barnabas being enemies simply because the Bible said they disagreed on who to take along in their journey. |
DeathStroke007:Stop clutching on straws there is nothing like 12 disciples. And your Barnabas in that his gospel claimed to be an Apostle whereas there are 12 apostles and no Barnabas among them. |
DeathStroke007:Lol I know am teaching you but no wahala... Am having a good laugh here ![]() Here are the 12 apostles Peter, James and John (sons of Zebedee), Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Mathew, Thomas, James (son of Alpheus), Theddaeus, Simon, and Judas. And try to learn the difference between the apostles and disciples. ![]() |
DeathStroke007:I have read it, my post doesn't in anyway sound like that of a complete novice and your one liners aren't enough to take me back to re-reading it. As for the research, do it yourself and bring your findings here. Am waiting. |
Richirich713:He already made the blanket statement "it's not corrupted" he can no longer cherrypick what to believe therefore if there is any contradiction between the two, the Quran must be the one in error, since according to them, the gospel of Barnabas was written before the Quran and this further cast doubts on the authenticity of Mohammed and his Quran. |
Tkester2:I may be wrong though but didn't the Kenyan president had to hand over to his vice sometime ago to answer his case with the ICC? |
Richirich713:Chai you beat me to this. I wanted to let him come out fully first and prove he believed the gospel of Barnabas before I start showing him where it contradicts his koran, then he will be made to choose between gospel of Barnabas and his koran. |
malvisguy212:God bless you too dear. I am a sister though ![]() |
DeathStroke007:Lol really? Teach me oh thou learned one, the knowledge of the real Barnabas to learn for I hunger and thirst for this knowledge. I am but a handmaid of the Lord ![]() |
DeathStroke007: DeathStroke007: DeathStroke007:I never really wanted to go this far but it seems you didn't even know the real Barnabas wasn't among the 12 apostles of Jesus. Referring to him is just like referring to Paul as an apostle. They weren't with Jesus like the 12 apostles. I really don't know where you are getting your informations from. Like seriously he was with Jesus and Jesus asked him to write what? Smh una no go kill person ![]() |
And oh you need a proof the so called Bible was written 1500 years ago? Well let me make it clear that I was even trying to go soft on the muslims and massage their ego with that otherwise I don't believe it was written 1500 years ago. I rather believe it was a medieval forgery of the 14th century through the 16th century AD probably 1500AD you get? Why because the author clearly used the popular errornous believe that only took place in the 14th century before it was corrected. Consider the quote from chapter 82 of your bible below Insomuch that the year of Jubilee which now comes every 100 years, shall by the Messiah be reduced to every year in every placeConsider the "now" in the above quote showing as at the time of the above writing the Jubilee was celebrated every hundred years which may likely not be so from the onset. Now you and I know the jubilee year is celebrated every 50 years and not 100. For the sake of clarity I will post where God gave that instruction in the Bible. Consecrate every Fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants, it shall be a Jubilee year for you. Lev 25:10 Now let me tell you a story ![]() In the year 1300 AD, Pope Boniface VIII proclaimed that jubilee year should henceforth be celebrated every 100 years contrary to the 50 years it was sanctioned to be celebrated by God, but the next Pope being Pope Clement VI changed it back to every 50 years and so it was celebrated in the year 1350, now there was only a span of 50 years in history when people believed the Jubilee year comes every 100 years and it is between 1300 and 1350 AD. It is only then that any body would have written "the jubilee year which now comes every 100 years. So the writer of your gospel of Barnabas much have written within these fifty years of erroneous belief. ![]() This is just one of the reasons I believe it couldn't have been written by the real Barnabas who lived and died within the first century AD. |
DeathStroke007:Now I am wondering if you even took time to read up on the life of the real Barnabas. The real Barnabas is a Hebrew who lived his later life and died in the Island of Cyprus. Cyprus has always a Greek speaking land. Even his relic were later discovered under a cherry tree in Cyprus. There is no record of him going to Spain or knowing the spanish language. If there is a language he should know, it should be greek and not spanish. On the other hand your gospel of Barnabas was found to be written in Spanish and italian not in Hebrew or Greek that the real Barnabas would have written it if he were to be the author. Except maybe you are going to show me any proof he knew Spanish in his lifetime. |
DeathStroke007:Like seriously is this even worth debating on? Herod ruled Judea from 37BC to 4BC while Pilate's reign was from 26AD to 36AD there is a clear 30 years difference between their regimes. Herod ruled while Jesus was born while Pilate ruled during the period of his death. Both never ruled during his birth like your gospel of barnabas errornously want us to believe. So for someone who claimed to be an eye witness to commit such historic blunder casts a serious doubt on his claims. Yes I refer to him as "A Barnabas" because this so called Barnabas can't be same as. Paul's companion. |
All these people insulting and cursing yourselves both Catholics and non-catholics, is this the best way of defending your churches? Smh all of you need Jesus ASAP ![]() |
analice107:Which reliable sources and how is this transfer supposed to checkmate him. Since he is still allowed to preach, celebrate mass, conduct his adoration programme. His priestly faculty is intact. Pray tell me how he is being checkmated here. Have you seen a priest that is being checkmated by the church and how it is done? |
DeathStroke007:https://www.nairaland.com/1823912/picture-original-manuscript-injeel-bible#24879356 So people still believe this crap? 1500 years old bible hehehe written 500 years after Jesus' crucifixion allegedly by one of his disciples who must have died some 400 years before? Having the name bible which was first used for the scriptures at about 300AD? written in spanish which Barnabas himself didn't speak? This is a post I made in another thread about this. A Barnabas who claimed to be the Apostle of Jesus yet didn't know Herod and pilate didn't rule judea thesame time. And pilate wasn't even on seat when Jesus was born. Go read the blunder in chapter 3 of your revered gospel. I don't even wanna start, |
DeathStroke007:I refrained from meaningless arguments like this already. If you believe the writer of that book was same as Barnabas Paul's companion, then you must have descended from Mars. |
DeathStroke007:And you want us to rather accept the lies of your so called gospel of Barnabas. Barnabas an apostle of Jesus indeed!!! Smh |
Aizenosa:Ok laugh well, it's allowed. ![]() |
OZAOEKPE:Welcome dear, wetin you chop remain from the Christmas meat? ![]() |

Rich4god:I don't wanna get fat o, I no need am, just a little flesh is ok. ![]() |
Rich4god:Drop ke? You wan make I turn to rope? ![]() |
Larryfly:The bold is not and has never been the practice or teaching of the Catholic church but your personal life style which you alone chose to live (assuming that's what you do though). Please don't generalise or impose it on the Catholic church. All my life as a Catholic, I have never seen heard or read where it is said that a Catholic should live this way. If therefore this is how you live, it is your mindset that needs a change because no church will force you to change if you don't want to. Pick up your bible and read, no one is stopping you. Infact you are encouraged to do so, don't wait for a church that will spoon-feed you, cultivate the habit of praying often for God's grace and divine direction. Don't go to confession if you are not truly repentant and willing to change while asking for God's grace. You'd be wasting your time. The church is there to guide you and not to force you. I do pray you build a better relationship with God while listening to the church's guidance and making effort to get closer to him by the day, His grace is sufficient for you. PACEM. |
babestell:I won't say am not healthy or fit, I just need to add some weight, I've been weighing 58kg for the past 3 years, no addition no subtraction ![]() |
You seem to have a lot of issues ranging from whites' seeming supremacy over blacks to seeming relegation of women to the background to seeming injustice to women owing to them not being allowed into priesthood. That's quite liberal of you, and you are entitled to your opinion which no one has the right to throw away or look down on. But then... Personally I feel otherwise, white feel superior over blacks so to say because most blacks view themselves as inferior to the white. Maybe you are judging from where you reside, but where I am and from those I've interacted with, I came to the conclusion that it is we blacks who need to stop degrading ourselves. We have so much of this slave mentality and also wanna look up to the whites as our saviour. If we don't emancipate ourselves from mental slavery which we otherwise imposed on ourselves, we will keep crying foul with no help in sight. It might sound harsh here, but I don't really believe in racism. A white man can't come to my house and form racist for me. On female priests, female bishops, female pope. Do you ever imagine that as you so much wish to see or be one. There are others who are constantly wishing and praying such never happen atleast in their lifetime? It's repulsive to some people as much as it entices you. Now to whose will will God be bent? You mustn't be a priest or a pope to serve God. Don't you think men should also be angry as why they can't be mother superiors and Abbess? There are fields where we all can fit in. These fight for female priesthood, bishopric and popery is still beyond me. Could it be mere earnest desire to feel like we can be all things or a ploy of the devil to bring disarray into the church. Whichever it might be, I do pray God see us through while promising myself that me as a woman won't attend a mass presided over by a woman. |
DeathStroke007:Did he receive it directly from God or the angel grabbed his neck and forced him to READ? |
babestell:And you didn't give me the 3kg? I've been looking for it ![]() |
