When l go shopping here at the Nairobi Masai craft market to buy things, l will be hearing 'sema muzungu sista' (welcome white sister) and l know for sure they see me as one who has come to buy things and waiting to up the price as they see me as l look soft thus the possibility of me buying at their rates but l always disappointment them as l didn't grow up in Lagos for the fun of it. They are always shocked that l can bargain more than their fellow Kenyans!
