With all honesty, I agree to this.
Subjects like Mathematics, agric, Chemistry, physics. Even history, CRS/IRS, to me should be given more concerned than English.
Religious subjects will provide some form of moral knowledge (not aiming at extremism) while history will remind us where we came from, where we are and where we are heading to.
There are many develop nations and individuals doing well without this English thing.
Let the basics be taught to the students then focus more on other subjects abeg...
