Esseite:Yorubas are a different breed. Check the political history right from 1979, the Yorubas have always voted over 85-90% for a Yoruba candidate. They did in 1979, 1983, 1993, 1999, and 2003. If the contestants are other tribes, the Yoruba votes are always divided and that is where people like you don’t understand Yorubas. Personally, I will love Osinbajo/Fashola to be on the ballot, but if APC eventually choose Tinubu, then you can be rest assured he will get nothing Less than 85% of the votes in the SW. When it’s time, everyone will fall in line, even the likes of Bode George and the other Afenifere guys will fall in line. The initiated are the one that can understand!! |
meccuno:Anything bad in that? Since you have sworn that you won’t think straight like you fellow IPOBs. |
Obalatule:The Ikenne people migrated from Ile-Ife. When they got to the location where they settled down, there was abundance of Iken in the Area. The long grass “Iken” was very good for feeding their goats and sheep. The land was good for arable cultivation. The name Ikenne was derived from the word “Iken” meaning “We have plenty of Iken” In all indications, all Remo towns and town-lets did not take off from Ile Ife with a name. Their names were derived from prevailing situations and circumstances where they settle in Remoland. This is exactly how most Yoruba town names are formed. They are usually formed based on the area they settled in or direction from Ifa. For example Ibadan was derived from Eba Odan, and they name it as Ibadan. Originally Ibadan means nothing in Yoruba language but if you check the origin, you will know how the word Came to be. |
Obalatule:You are obviously high. Ikenne is where Obafemi Awolowo hail from in Ogun state, is that also an Ibo name? So because there is a name that occur in Igbo language it automatically means Igbo? So because it’s called Ijebu Igbo means the owner are Igbos? Igbo in Yoruba mean bush. Odo Igbo means River by the Bush. How could that be termed to be an Igbo name because they have the same name for it. Seems a lot of Igbo are drunk on this forum. Oke Igbo (Hill by the Bush) is what you called Okigbo, I think you’re hallucinating. Ikeji-Arakeji is a Yoruba word you Igbo. So because Ikeji is also a word in Igbo means it’s an Igbo named town? Osu could mean many thing in Yoruba. It could mean month, it’s dim (dark), and etc. |
ogbuefi677:Just as when Igbo Jews sold out the south for Shagari and Tofa on multiple occasions. |
Factshunter:Lol don’t mind the guy. You captured his description right! |

In your usual 2by2 reasoning, you are trying to derail the thread to make this an animosity party with the SS. |
Ilaumoh:As how? How is it fake? The record of each State FAAC monthly allocation is with the government. The record of each State IGR is with the government. So how will the list be fake. Before I proceed, which of those State is yours and why are you angry at the innocent Stat? |
Source is StatiSense with data from NBS. Below is each state productivity based on the FAAC to IGR ratio of their total revenue. Then states at the top generate more IGR than what they received from the Federal allocation. However, the states in the bottom generate far lower IGR than what they received from the FAAC.
