Buy 6 units at once at a discounted price! Why wonder in the bush when their is a free and clear pathway? |
jephito:It is way cheaper than drip irrigation. It needs more water than driptapes. Its preferable with river/dam as not storage facility is needed. If you are using borehole, you also will not use storage but you need a high head pump. Discounts available if you will be buying more than 3 or a reseller! Attached herewith is an improvised unit connected to a pump |

Johnnyessence:Johny..Buy a roll of hose ( N23500) you connect it to pump and then hose. extend the hose to its full length, stand the gun and on engine. When that part is completed to your satisfaction, move the gun to other parts not yet covered. The process continues till the farm land is completed irrigated. This will time but its worth the effort. Now. 5 acres and above would need a more intense arrangement. Either you connect several guns at once to the pump. The distance between each guns will be dependent on the pressure generated by the pump. If you needed more elaboration, call and I will explain. I am bad in grammar and doubt if my writing style is understable enough. Please kindly understand. |
Parameters of the rain gun. This might help as estimate for determining number of raingun required for various land sizes Required pressure for best performance: 2.5-6bar/metre square Water flow rate: 12-45meter cube per hour Nozzle elevate ( constant by design) : 24 degree In summary, there are varying requirements perculiar to various farmlands regarding the terrain ( gradient of land slope, distance to water source, either a permanent structure or make shift setup) The one I am offering is a make shift set up. It can be moved to other locations as needs arise.

securi:Mr securi, so you do irrigation too. 50 acres irrigated farmland is fairly large. Ive been crisscrossing Nigeria in the last few years and I havent seen a single irrigated farmland to the tune of 50acres. Maybe I need to come pick some knowledge from your end. Its a request I hope you will oblige. Great things, great learnings occurs on the move! *edited Why would you do 50acres for a start in an unfamiliar terrain? That response was only in your interest. Sorry if the parable infuriates you. Im only being factual |
Oh. I now understand what the likes of World1, JEthro and maybe HOtmas are going through to sustain their posts. It g8ves me great headache when peoplebcant read in between the lines. I have answered that I am not a banana fan and so I wouldnt be able to answer in the affirmative. Its here. A brother called me from here and was sharing some fantastic data with me, and I was like where have you been all this while? So we learn everyday. But when others close their mind and await to be spoon fed. It calls for some tantrums you know! Pick the useful info that you need, move on. Enquire in private if you can like I do. On a lighter tempo, I already answered the young man. At least some persons from here have at somepoint had course to interact with me.They can attest that I am using this rainguns. I cant misslead anyone for my personal gains. Why will I? Or do you all like to be lied to? |
securi:So you want to irrigate the whole of 20hectates? Hmn! A child needs to learn to crawl before he can walk, talkless of running. What will you be planting? Have you been irrigating that land before? Lots of questions. You will need amounts in the 6 digits zone oo! But I will say buy few pieces first. Then I can surely assist you with all the support you need for irrigating 20hectares. Im working towards your target too! |
First consignment that must go real quick. *edited*** |
Take the giant stride! Remove out one of the variables of crop failure from your farming enterprise- inconsistency of rainfall. This raingun comes handy. Make your own rain. |
As the dry seasons approach, prepare for bounty harvest by procuring this. Few pieces left to go. Cucumber, golden melon, lettuce, green pepper, water melon and vegetables. |
Johnnyessence:Call me. lets reason together |
To enjoy it better, you need a roll of hose, a mud pump. Improvisation is the word.
|
pardon me that they are not too visible. A small pixel phone was used then. hope this may satisfy your curiousity. Those who have tried their hand on dry season irrigation will appreciate this piece better.
|
MoneyMerchant:Please be patient |
The world is a global village now. Getting your raingun after payment shouldnt be a problem! I am a lover of vegetables & cucurbits because their turn around time is short. Anyone who can have this raingun and has farmland close to water source- you are made. You do not necessarily have to own the land, maybe on lease. |
Suffice to say that this rain gun will work with any water source. Well, Borehole, river, streams e.t.c. |
