i have 2 frnds working with them, one in Owerri and the other one in Abj. The one in Owerri said they are still dealing with the lower cadre but that if i hear a date for the senior category whether i get a text or not i sould go 4 the interview. I just finished speaking with the Abj guy on phone, he still say they have not started with the senior cadre, that it will come from the board not from their office. Thanx, God will help us. |
A friend in Abj said they have not started calling generally. they are only calling candidates from the "big fish" |
A NAIRALANDER SENT ME THEIR E-MAIL ADDRESS THRU AN SMS (unoy@gmail.com) TO SUBMIT MY CV AND I DID, LAST MONTH I WAS INVITED FOR AN APTITUDE TEST/INTERVIEW AT FUTO AND WAS ASKED TO COME WITH A LAPTOP. I GOT THERE TO DISCOVER THEY WERE 419 PEOPLE. THEIR NGO IS "UNITED NETWORK FOR YOUNG PEACEBUILDERS" PLS MEMBERS SHOULD KNOW THE TYPE OF INFO THEY SPREAD AROUND, SINCE WE HAVE DESPERATE JOB SEEKERS, THEY ARE THEIR TARGETS. THEIR TARGET WAS THE LAPTOP. ONCE AGAIN LET US BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
an-nuru, thanx 4 the info but pls can u tell us the positions that were advertised? cos in the form u r meant to fill the position u apply for. Secondly, i am sorry to ask if this is really a recent info. Thanks Sally |
@ damkollins r u there now |
@ henryarm, thanks 4 the info, it seems the website is crowded but thank God i just submitted now and a code number has been assigned to me. I also printed the page as instructed. Thanks so much, keep on the good work, we shall get there. One love |
this is really a lesson not just to read and feel sober but to act on it as fast as possible. It's also a lesson to the ladies, u see women are small gods, they inspire things into their men, so ladies don't be too possessive okkkkkkkkkkkkk |
I suggest u go for a professional certification now that u are still very young, u have much ability to read wide than when u are older and have burdens to take care of. Remember u do not know the markers of ur professional exams that is why u should do that one first now that u can seriously study. As for masters, u do it in any of our high institutions, there u know who ur lecturers/examiners are and u can easily approach them. That is my own suggestion. Myself i started my ICAN first, after qualification, i will settle down 4 my masters. Take care. |
@ damkollins are u still on line? Can we chat? |
@ damkollins, whax up? I have been trying to call but couldn't get u. Hope all is fine. |
@ olowotee, please how do i get the fair presentation materials from their site cos i tried to check but could not find it. Please explain to me cos i want to download them. Thanks 4 ur response. |
Haba, how can one send both the original and photocopies of credentials to an employer? What will the person use in another stage? Asking the employer 4 the original copies or what? I wonder ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ![]() |
Wow! just got my own mail yesterday. Was a kind of scared that i won't be invited. Anyway shaa, i think the idea of how the Nairaland users can meet is a nice one, so how do we do it? I'm Sally and my number is 08034135301 so any member can contact me, we are moving to the top abi? See you guys there, |
@ kayodu, just make sure u throw one question at them, don,t keep quiet. I had mine yesterday and this is the question i asked them: I can see ur bank is one of the 8 top banks in Nig, can u explain the strategies u applied that enabled u to get to that position? I also complained about their HR lapses in contacted candidates |
Banju, thanx 4 the info, i was invited for 20th but they could not attend to me cos of the strike. What did u answered about ur expected pay(salary)? Can u throw more light on what they expect to hear about the slogan (move up on/now) it might help those of us that are yet to be interviewed. Pls still explain other things pls, and God will bless u guys. ONE LOVE |
Angela255 pls u don't need to worry ok, it happened to me also. I was invited for an interview by the same Access bank on 20th, do u know what pained me? The text came in very late on 19th around 7.30pm so i was a kind of "this guys might be in office". So i took off, spent huge amount of money on transport alone, i was beaten by the rain, guess what? The receptionist called the guy that sent me the text and he ask me to wait in the visitors section only for a lady to come after some hours to tell me the interview would not hold cos of the strike and that they will re-invite us. anyway shaa wetin we go do? we are still waiting, but i think they should work on their HR dept ![]() |
Just like brownjnr said, time ie is ur speed matters most but mind your accuracy. The questions were not too difficult but u have to crack ur brain fast. They allowed us to use calculator, so u can go with one. I wish u all the best. Pls Brownjnr, they promised to mail and text us today being 15th but i have not seen any signal yet. Have u heard from any other person that attended the test at Balmoral? |
My dear ICAN is not something one enters with fear rather with determination, cos that is the only thing that can carry u thru hard time, all u need is to consider every subject/course as equal, ie attach equal level of importance to all the courses u will write, don't see any as being cheap thereby con centrating on others u consider to be difficult. This is because that one might keep u in that stage 4 decades. For instance, in PE 2 stage a lot of people attach more interest in Mgt Acc'tg and Fin. Acc'tg, stating that Research methodology and Public sector Acc'tg is easy, they discover at last that these two "EASY" once will keep them in that stage for years. Just like i said all u need is determination and u sacrifice ur pleasures. Finally u must bear this watch word in mind: WHEN THE GOING IS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GETS GOING>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> |

Hi Lush, Please did they really sent a track code to you? I am still facing the same problem i explained to you before. Like i said i submitted on Friday but did not see the track code, i have also re-applied like u advised me this morning and i submitted, the confirmation simply said your application has been received, and that it has been assigned a special tracking code i should use in any enquiry but they did not write the code there. I have just printed the page like that. Please any mistake or what do i do next. |
Thanx Lush, i think i will do that now. u r great!!!!!!!!!!!11 |
Lush, thanx a million for ur reply. I succeeded in submitting yesterday, but the problem i am having now is that they made mention of a track code which i did not see after the submission of the application, what do i do? Secondly the system i used to apply was not connected to the printer so i could not print the page they asked us to print, is there going to be any problem about that? Please explain cos as u know, i can't get the page again . Thanx once more for your reply. |
Please which confirmation letter are u talking about? Will it be sent to ur e-mail? I did not see the tracking code they mentioned so i did not print that page hoping something might be sent to my mail. But i have not seen any mail till now, hope there is no problem? Can somebody explain better for me? |
