My point is, cos someone is the indoor type does not mean he or she is not informed(not when all the information you could possibly be in need of is just a click away from you) or must be boring.

I'd tell you indoor people spend their time reading almost anything they come across. They'd beat you hands down on any topic you engage them on so long it's of interest to them.

They often the chatter box on social platforms...you can research that. They make up more than half of the people you find on any social platform.

I repeat, they are not necessarily boring. Cos they are not exposed to people, they might be kind of withdrawn but if you make them feel comfortable around you, you might just have to beg for a break if care is not taken.

i totally agree with you,,,,,,,am an indoors person,,,,,most times am on net,,, browsing,,facebooking,, nairalanding,,,whatsapping etc.....but people think am busy sleeping inside.....as a matter of fact,,,when my phone is down am bored.

My friend's case was like yours,but her dad wasn't poor,he just felt as a female you don't deserve much.

She gained admission into UNIBEN by force. After her secondary school she taught in a school where she could raise money for jamb form.Her dad had about the admission and promised he won't train her,but she got trained anyway.

How?

She carried her bag,without school fee,pocket money,feeding money,accomdation etc.When she stepped into campus,she met a photgraher,sat with him,in the cause of dicussion,he told her of his 200L medicine daugther.He called her,and the daughter took the poor girl to her hostel(Hall 2). School just resumed and most students av not resumed yet,so there were empty bonks,she asked her to stay in one of the bonks,but till the session ended, portals never allocated that bonk.

For food,the man (photograher) and her daughter took it upon themselves to feed her even without complains,

For school fees,two church fellowships paid her fees(Nifes and RCF)

for clothes, she continued to wear rag and didn't send.she was always reading to become something in live.

As a teneger,a virgin.a guy woo her one night as she was coming from class,(he was in his 3rd year eco-stat) she played hard to get,but he got to know she was sufferin cos of the way she appears on campus.

He started buying her gifts, shoes, clothes,undis etc and she fell in love,but each time she visited him in Hall 4 then,he wants to rap her..

In a nut shell,she graduated without her father's one naira,no pregnacy or abortion either,she was wise not to hard more pains to her pains.

MY ADVICE
Do you know your heavenly father is your real father?her heavenly saw her thru school and not the earthly father,,

it doesn't matter the hell you have been thru,,,,start seeing God as your true father and watch him take good care of you as from now on.All you need to survive is with ur heavenly father.

Introverts...the most misunderstood beings on the planet even though they have contributed immensely to the progress of mankind (great scientists, musicians, inventors etc).
If you need someone who will think outside the box by reflex, you'll most likely find that among the introverts.

Nothing wrong with being an introvert.

It is your nature and you did not choose to be made that way. But the problem is that the world prefers and celebrates extroversion.

One thing however is that both are needed to create balance in the human society.
Look at a picture of both personalities.

The extrovert is an outgoing person who is excited by being among/around people, he/she is easily bored when there is no activity to engage in. Yeah, he's got lots of energy to spare. He has no difficulty expressing his feelings. When he's angry, you know and when he's happy, it's also very obvious ('cos he can just throw a party to show his happiness). He may not be so much interested in deep intellectual talk (not in all cases though) but he likes small talks like discussing about the weather and things like that.

But the introvert is different. He is the quiet type who does most of his talking in his head. Yeah, he thinks a lot and likes to engage in deep and intellectual conversations. He can stay alone for days and not get bored. He is not so easy to 'read' when compared with the extrovert. You may not know when he's happy or sad because his default expression is
'blank'. He could be experiencing intense joy on the inside but the best he may do to show it would just be a smile (no, he won't go jumping up and down, screaming in excitement). He likes depth in whatever he does.
He is very good at understanding people but unfortunately for him, the gesture is not reciprocated as he is often misunderstood by many.
He doesn't make friends easily but once he considers you his friend, you are most likely going be his friend for life. You can now see why he has to keep someone on his 'probation' list for some time before admitting that person into his circle of friends (which is usually small).
He likes to work from the background, away from the spotlight. He hates noise!
Cool music playing in the background and a book in hand is a perfect way for him to spend the day. When he loves, he is usually committed to the one he loves...

Hence, you see that both are needed to complement each other so don't ever entertain the thought that something is wrong with you because you're an introvert.
However, you can try make friends with a moderate extrovert and you will see how it will help you open up a little, just the same way an extrovert's excesses are curbed when she has an introverted friend. I say moderate extrovert because a highly extroverted friend can drive you nuts with too much stimulation (from talking and other activities peculiar to her nature).

when i started reading,,i was like ''HOW CAN A FIRST TO COMMENT WRITE SUCH A LONG EPISODE?''........is like you typed this long thing down before.

I know how NL is,,once a topic is out before you know it,,,within the space of 2mins, you will be seeing 27comments

sometimes you may see the post first,,but with this kind of long episode,you will find yourself on page 2,,,cos before u finish typing,,poeple with shorter texts are there before you....

That is why FTC people rejoice so much,,,but many don't know why,,,,
