Business To BusinessDollar Is Not Our Problem (don Voice) by samcofac(op): 10:04pm On Feb 25, 2016
Please let me explain to those of us who don't understand Economic terms. Dollar has not increased since Buhari became president. 1. Dollar is not our currency so dollar should not be our business. 2. Our problem is not d government but our problem is our importers and consumers. 3. Naira has remained at 197 naira to 1 dollar since Buhari became president. 4. Buhari has promised not to devalue the Naira and he has maintained that promise. 5. Both at CBN and at interbank rates, dollar has remained 197. 6. However because we are too lazy to produce what we use in Nigeria we import even toothpicks and matches. 7. Buhari does not like d importation of luxury goods because luxury goods is d reason for most corruption, that is why he banned 41 products from having access to forex. 8. However when Nigerian importers insisted on importing those 41 products, FG asked them to find their dollar at d BDCs parallel market also known as black market. 9. And to discourage the pressure Nigerians are mounting on the Naira just to get dollars for importation, CBN banned DMBs from selling dollars to BDCs. 10. To survive the pressure of excess dollar demands, BDCs resorted to sourcing for dollars from neighbouring countries through illicit money laundering routes. 11. Because of the risks faced by BDCs to source for dollars, and because of the increase in demand for dollars by importers because China just resumed from their business holidays, BDCs keep increasing the price at which they exchange dollars to naira and now it is 400 naira to 1 dollars. 12. However that does not mean that govt has changed the exchange rate because if our genuine importers go to CBN and fill Form M to import raw materials for local production, they will get dollars at 197 naira each. 13. So the problem is that we love to consume luxury foreign products yet we are too lazy to manufacture them here. 14. For example u will see a dull girl using iPhone 5 without even knowing simple physics and computer engineering part of how that phone was produced. 15. I want Buhari to ban every foreign product from Nigeria until Nigerians learn to produce and use Made in Nigeria products. 16. Let us stop complaining about dollar as if dollar has become Nigeria's currency. 17. It is even bad enough that most of those complaining about the high exchange rate of dollar do not have 1 single dollar in their purse. PLEASE USE MADE IN NIGERIA PRODUCTS... God bless 9ja. I always come here to read but not comment. I decide to comment today because...

That location is exactly where I grew up from and I went to that IMG primary school and Aperin Boys High School just besides that IMG while my mum has a rental shop inside the very same complex in the invitation but sincerely I don't know the lady (maybe because I didn't mingle at all when I was in Ibadan and I had my University education in Ekiti, served in Port Harcourt and working there now. I hardly go home) but note, am not from Ibadan, I'm from Osun state (Ilesha) but grew up in Ibadan but yet I love and respect Ibadan. They do their things their own way

Well, its funny sha to see where I grew up on Nairaland

Jokes EtcHow She Brought Her Friend To Our Hotel Room And Later Regretted It. by samcofac(op): 7:51pm On Aug 08, 2015
WTF , as we immediately started romancing after long period of disagreement and struggling, her phone rang, and it was her friend asking for her location, she told her to come to our hotel. I was shocked and asked her were is she gonna stay if eventually she comes and she said in the same room. I asked her if she was in her right senses
and she said yes that she is her best
friend and can't keep her outside.

I kept quiet and was trying to rush and
do the thing before her friend reaches
but all hope was lost wen she called that she was at the hotel gate. she went outside brought her inside the room and her foolish friend on seeing me made no attempt to resist entering rather she came in and sat there and both started
gisting and laughing. I was soo mad that i had to put on my clothes and shoes, with my laptop and i headed for the bar
making sure that non of my belongings was left in that room.

I was in the bar drinking when she
called my phone and requested for
food, I asked if her friend also needed and she said yes. I requested for the price of the food and a plate was 1500 (3000 for both), that was when i knew i was in for some shii.

But to cut everything short, I just picked up my laptop and phones and went straight to my car and headed home.

She later called after an hour to know what's holding the food and i told her i don't know that am at my house maybe she should call the kitchen and ask what's the problem, she banged the call and since hasn't called me again.

Me wetin concern me. At least the
only expenses i did was just the room
payment, I know that they must have
trekked to their houses that day

Who lose?

CareerIs This Really Creativity? by samcofac(op): 6:12pm On Jun 26, 2015
I'm a graduate of geology from Ekiti State University and also I've done some professional courses under safety and marine but job is not forth coming. Least I forget, I have a world class certificate in arc and pipe welding under Samsung Heavy Industries but funny enough, no job seems forth coming.

Presently I'm teaching in a mushroom school but still hustle around and never relent on searching for a white collar job.

While taking my Basic 5 pupils today, I just remember how I use cartoon to make school sandal and wear it to school when I was in secondary school. I also remember how my mate do make jest of me but I don't really care.

I just decided to do something crazy with my free time and attach with this piece is what I did and lo & behold all other teachers were amazed and asked where I learnt it from, I told them I never learn it from anywhere and they were surprised.

One co-teacher offered me his shop immediately while another said she is ready to invest in me but I turned down both offer immediately because I see it as a dirty job.

Great people in the House, can you really call this creativity? Because I'm not really moved

CrimeTrue Confession: Why I Had Sex With My Son by samcofac(op): 10:21pm On Jun 03, 2015
I’m a middle-aged woman. I currently
reside in Bwari Area Council of the FCT-
Abuja. I’m a member of one of the new
generation churches, and a church
worker.

After my first Son was born over 25
years ago, we stopped having other
issues. My husband and I had visited
several prayer houses around the
country. We have even being to
Synagogue Church of All Nations, to
see TB Joshua, but we couldn’t see him
in person. Different Pastors have
prayed for us, and we truthfully
exhibited high level of patience, waiting for God’s response. I had met
pastors and I had met PASTORS. 40
percent of the pastors we met had made advances at me, even at my age. I realized that most of these Pastors are
truly not who they claim they are. ‘’See
finish’’ is what I think was my experience in their hands. I do not need to talk too much about the anointed ones, but the warning is that we all have to be careful while dealing with majority of them.

After several rough dealings with Pastors and men of God, with little or no results, we tried different health experts and hospitals. Results remained negative. It was getting to a frustrating level when a colleague from Cross River volunteered to take me to a man she simply referred to as ‘baba’.

Being a strong believer, my husband
was against the decision to travel to
Ogoja to meet the man; out of desperation, I waved off his objection
and we headed to Ogoja on a Monday
morning. That was when everything
became bitter.

Baba, on presenting everything he asked us to bring, told me that my problem rooted back to my mum, who had sex with my step brother shortly after I was born. The only solution he proffered was that I ‘sleep’ with my only Son to wade off the spirit of my step brother whom he claimed died shortly after mum’s death. According to him, the spirits were still angry that mum committed such an atrocity, hence I must atone their sins.
It was believable to me because mum
is no more and I heard I also lost my
step brother at a time.

I returned home and kept this a top
secret. I didn’t tell my husband the real
problem. It’s difficult to explain how I
managed to convince my son to have
knowledge of me, but it happened.
Truly, I became pregnant after then
and I’m about to put to bed. I’m just
afraid something bad may happen to
me. As for my Son, he hates me at the
moment. Even in my present state, my
husband and I are always at loggerheads.

It tells me that something is wrong. I always have nightmares; most times, two men chasing me with a knife. I can’t connect my pregnancy, the dream and my act. Please, one-on-onewithdonvoice (www.facebook.com/Dr.donvoice), I need you to get public responses and advice for me on this?

Thank you and God bless .
Literature/Writing AdsCan You Die As A Hero Just For Your Name To Be Immortalized? by samcofac(op): 10:06pm On Jun 03, 2015
I was strolling down from work this evening with a colleague when he suddenly broke a long silence we've kept for nearly 30minutes and said; Voice, what does people benefit from their name been immortalized? Does it mean they will really be happy while in heaven/hell that their name has make impact on earth or what do you think?

I smiled and reply; well, I guess they and their family will be happy their name doesn't go down without a be make reference to in life.

My friend now said; okay, can you die just for this country, so that your name to be immortalized?

Without a second thought I said, NO, you can die for the country and I will make sure your name exist for ever.

Over to you my people, can you die for your community, state or country just for your name to be immortalized?

I'm sure if I curse PDP & Goodluck with the last curse in my mouth, it will surely come to pass. Sincerely I sensed it then but not certain then. So, fuel subsidy is a scam and kept Nigerian (especially in South-West) locked home in the whole of January, 2012.

When Jonathan came, we thought he was the Messiah, not knowing he is the real devil in Messiah's clothing. Well, devil sef no dey wear black and red again, na blazzer with tie and suit case he dey wear. Like seriously, subsidy is a scam? There is God oooo.

Funny enough, some hooligans are still saying we should vote for him for another four years enslavery. If not for God, I would have say 'He no go better for GEJ supporters'. This thing dey pain me like fresh wound
