That being said, you may want to run a quick google search if your school is one of the mpower partnered institutions.

However if lump sums come into the account, you can do well to explain the source of the funds and importantly provide proofs/evidences of the source of funds.

Then you can also explore the options of GIC. This one does not require the funds to stay there for 4Months

2. How much is your total expenses for your school and Programme per annum: tuition, accommodation, health insurance, special fees, flight, settling allowances. ( Also, how many years is your program?)
3. How much does your brother have in his closing balance?
4. Made any tuition fee deposit? Paid any fees?
5. Is your brother married? Is he making any initial commitment towards your studies?

(Too many questions there, lol. If you don’t feel like answering here, just answer them offline, but take note that those are very important questions)

I understand you want to divert into IT, but the truth is you have to be able to convince the visa officer that you have enough experience. The best thing to do is to apply for a program that is directly related to your undergraduate degree then when you get to canada you switch.

The money was savings over the years from monthly salaries, bonuses, allowances etc. I submitted all Payslips that showed the inflows for a minimum period of 6 months

My brother wants to get his statement of account and a reference letter but they are not allowing people to enter the bank! They locked their gate while people are waiting outside!

1)You can add it as home ties instead.
2)It raises an eye brow but it’s not a basis of disqualification, you just have to sell it very well and remove every doubt. Get a letter from your employer stating you get paid in cash. Submit every thing possible that shows that even if the organisation is small it’s real and it exists , add your employment letter, work id, and everything related to your employment. But regardless you also need to submit your bank statement to show you have some money. And in your home ties section show all your employment prospects back home after you graduate, if possible add how much more you could earn, if possible show job offer advertisements for that role ( pick the one with the highest pay and screen shot it or add the link) don’t lie that you are coming back to resume work ( any mumu knows that u being paid in cash equates u are not been paid a lot of money). Have it at the back of your mind that you are talking to a psychologist that can see through bs. So SELL YOURSELF well.

most times it counts if you are called for an interview you can use your experience back home and relate it to the job description they want. dont be scared, one job can make you get other jobs, there are lot of job agencies you can contact on kijiji for jobs , they dont care if you have worked somewhere before they give jobs quickly during breaks.

Omo bro it’s basically just a document to state that the money or whatever received is not a loan and the sender has intention of reclaiming it and also to show a commitment of love and support from the sponsor or whoever sent it to the primary applicant which is you.

As a newbie in canada it can be hard to get a job because employers like work experience like breakfast ,lunch and dinner. I have seen some students waiting to get the job of their dream for months and their parents are still sending them money for their rents and other expenses to the point they are relaxing, not knowing they need to build resume. Take advantage of volunteering in school too, its helps to get jobs.

Probably you are using most of the company fund to sponsor, remember your business is a separate entity.

Except if you have another source of funds apart from the business.

People with less money are getting approval so it depends.
