DEATH OF MR OLOTO

Yesterday he was home
Seated with his wife, loving her
Yesterday he was home
Planning for times after

Today he's no more
Where's Mr Oloto, the wife asked
Today he's no more
Cos the grim reaper has come

Tomorrow he'll be forgotten
Leaving alone a grieving wife
Plans, dreams and life all cut short
By the cruel, cold hands of death.

The Waterfall

"The gushing voice entertains me, the splendid voice.
The rush of the waterfall fills me with awe
And a great beauty I will always remember

Boom boom, it thunders down the slope
It slithers, like a snake intent on its prey
Where it comes from is a mystery, so is where it goes

Who made you, oh waterfall?
Who blessed you with such power and glory?
What makes you ride and glide over all?
Where do you come from? Where do you go?

Let's be like the amazing waterfall
Always fearless, always marching forth
Never to let obstacles derail our cause
Riding and gliding over all, like the amazing waterfall.

What do we use to distinguish line breaks? Commas, colons or instincts?

Run on line is a line of poetry in which the punctuation is not contained within the line, and the line breaks without been punctuated.

I still have problems with the use of full stops in poems. Can you explain when and where full stops can he used?

Reality is, our leaders are clueless

And so, the carnage continues

Maybe someday, someday it'll stop.
