lollytk:Did you check your spam/junk? |
bukit05:Biko, could you help with this question? Is it advisable to pay tuition deposit once received unconditional offer or wait till after Pre CAS interview? University of Wolverhampton thou, that sch seems to have received an overwhelming application, hence my fear. We just got unconditional offer late April for September intake, meanwhile we applied for May intake but was deferred to sept. and have mailed them like 3 times to schedule pre CAS interview but they said we should wait as they were working on doing that this month My fear is, time dey go bro And I heard some people had even made deposit while still on conditional offer oo Any possibility for sept intake? Or make we just zero mind and put trust for January? To make matters worse, their Nigeria Representative is not even responding to calls, chat or mail. The guys sef too dull for my liking |
Fred2020:For a year MSc Program You literally get a 2years visa 1year for study and 1 year post study that's 2 year's For a 2 years MSc/MRes programs You get a 3years visa 2years for your study and 1 year post study that's 3years So literally you still have a whole post study to get a job and switch. My only concern for now, is if the UK finally say, that student visa holders should not be allowed to switch visa. Then that will be a big program. Now just like I explained, as you begin to approach the expiration of your students visa, you can then apply for a graduate visa. While most people don't go for the graduate visa and choose to seek asylum is because you'd also need to pay IHs and that's huge also for 2years... When you apply for a Graduate visa, you’ll need to: pay the £880 application fee pay the healthcare surcharge - this is usually £1,035 for each year you’ll be in the UK Below link is for IHS fee for Graduate Visa https://www.gov.uk/graduate-visa/how-much-it-costs This is for Student Visa Ihs https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-application/how-much-pay So our people literally look for a short cut with less financial commitments to beat the system, Thanks bro We are learning sha

Fred2020:Bro, people should understand that the Graduate Visa is different from the student Visa. The graduate visa is what the UKVI policy is referring to, as being reduced from 24months (2yrs) to 18months (1y 6month) A Graduate visa can only be applied for after completing an educational program in the UK, Its a means that afford people who have just completed their study in the UK and are yet to get a skilled visa and are nearing the expiration of their student visa to stay behind in the uk for up to 2year - 3years depending on your course of program, Also note that the Graduate visa can not be renewed or extended, but holders can switch to another visa category. So, literally it doesnt affects potential applicants. Where it may affect potential MSc or MRes applicant is if after your initial 2years student visa in the UK, You stil have not gotten a work sponsorship, then it means, your chances of staying beyond in the UK for another 2years while you search for job sponsorship has been reduced to 1year and 6months, Thanks for the update thou. |
ajapz:My dear sirs/ma Kindly help with this few questions. Thanks in advance. Any Wolverhampton applicants with an unconditional offer here? Or a current MSc/MRes Student? Is there any WhatsApp group for sept applicants? Also, Do one needs to pay initial tuition deposit immediately after receiving an unconditional offer, or wait till after Pre CAS interview? Cos upon checking my application status, I saw that it has an update, and it states the I am required to pay the deposit. Meanwhile, in my unconditional offer letter received, they included that upon passing the Pre CAS interview, then a deposit is required to be made. Unconditional offer came in late April, and till date I have mailed them requesting to be scheduled for interview, but the said they are working on it for this month, on both instances when I emailed them. So, the two are saying different things, Application status is saying you have an unconditional offer and as part of your requirements to move to the next stage, you are required to pay the deposit to proceed to your enrollment. While Unconditional offer letter is saying, upon passing pre CAS interview, a deposit is required to be made. Biko help me make sense of this . And for all others too, do you normally proceed to make deposit payments after receiving an unconditional offer or you wait for your successful interview results? January or May Current students, please help o, how did you go about it during your own process? Thanks |

Nothing annoys me more than calling this people bandits.. They are terrorists simply put Nigeria government needs to treat them as terrorists and not bandits. They are simply enemies of the federation. |
lolade07:I think it might be a plot to scam you. You applied 29/4 And invoice of 15/4 was sent to you despite not yet having an official offer from the school. Well, Please contact the school directly via your email. As far as am concerned, they can't contact your agent, it you directly via email. In fact they don't even have a portal access for MRes applicant sef. So please contact them asap. |
brainhack201:Bro, Sorry for all these, I think the major issue here to put some.funds in mummy's account, at least 10m to be on a safer side. Put 10m in her account for 30days, submit both your own proof of funds and hers too. Wish you success bro |
Abdoor44:Thanks, I think you should try to call them also to confirm, I don't think people here knows much |
Abdoor44:Thanks bro They responded this morning requesting to for a research proposal. Also bro, please hope Their MRes programs are eligible for dependent? Will work on that and upload. Thanks again |
ajapz:Why not approach your bank bro, and perhaps explain the situation with evidence. Things are tight every where now oo as people are using the limited resources they have to run this travel stuff. |
Ohraykon:It's alright bro Success |
Ohraykon:Are you already there? MRes or MSc? If you are already there, I think you shd be able to ask the the appropriate fee unit |

Azeez1003:Oh Okay bro, You are half way through already. Success bro. |
Azeez1003:Chia I want to believe you passed your interview? I think you shd make payment for your deposit and begin processing your CAS I don't quite understand the school thou, I think they had an overwhelming application way beyond available CAS for May intake |
Nicky222:Hello, how far? Have you now been scheduled for the Pre CAS Interview? |

Have you done Pre CAS interview? |
These guys are not herders.. But this is an act of terrorism, We need to put just as it is, and stop trying to make it look less, these killing has been ongoing for weeks now same as Platue, and yet we still call them herders.. Tor |
Chizbaaa:MSc or MRes? |
Nwaokunkpara:God bless you sir I have said it repeatedly, killings of people in Nigeria is simply an art of terrorism nothing less. The idea of trying to brand it as something simpler is false, how can a/some sect of people kill around 40+ individuals and yet our government will says it's headers abi one eye name. It's simply an act if terrorism, To even say it's a repeated killings makes it more worreson. It looks to me as thou we are giving this people a free hand to operate without taking any serious decisions against them, it literally makes them stronger. |
