dawnomike:
I once pondered on the advantage of digital currency for Nigeria before the concept of enaira came to play...
One of thee advantage of this is that, it will reduce the amount the country spend on minting Fiats currencies at the long run. Thereby, saving the country a lot of money

In the area of remitances, take for instance, 2 yrs ago; i was stucked trying to send money from nigeria to ghana and it was nearly impossible due to disparities in the official rates. This will be mitigated as you'll be able to send directly to anyone in diaspora from here and vice versa at the official rate.

The e-naira will also aid those that travel out a lot within africa as u will be able to easily convert your currency in banks over there who have a presence in Nigeria

If you are using e-naira, you are banking with CBN and not the regular commercial Banks... Since it is built on blockchain ledgers, there will be no issues of failed transfers and the likes.

These are just a few benefits asides many more... Let's be hopeful about it
Pls let's stop all this bro..

Is e-naira acceptable in Ghana?

How many African countries accept or recognize e-naira as a means of exchange?

Now sir, you said, it would reduce the cost for printing currency at the long run? Pls how??

You'd still be needing the normal naira to fund it remember?

If you don't have the normal naira in your account, you can't fund the e-naira o..

Also, how many Nigerias in the disapora can withdraw money from e-naira to their local bank currency abroad?

And finally you talked about banking directly with CBN??

Sir this is also what I Pointed out, and I asked a question afterwards, Does CBN want it's people to start banking with it just like other commercial banks??

If that's the case, then why tag the FG along?

Also, the infrastructure to run and secure the e-naira, where is it based? Nigeria or China or another country?

If in china or another country, why then should another country manage the country digital wallet for it??

I am very much here sir to learn more..

KashApp:
I expected the app to have a portal for cryptocurrency thereby it will be under CBN watch (for whoever who choose to use it) and that would help in regulating it and ofcourse be able to trace any suspecious transaction. Banning cryptocurrency and lunching enaira with no use looks dumb to me. I may be wrong tho but enaira is rubbish to me.

You can't even register because many BVN is not linked to their emails now you expect people to start rushing to the bank to update their BVN over one stupid app.
Oh..

I read online too that people are facing issues registering..

Well, I didn't bother downloading the app sef..

My two Mobile banking app is okay..

Besides they said you can send money to someone via username, like seriously is this supposed to be an achievement??

We have several other third party apps that does same..

One time one Mr garba launched a similar app for an instant messaging and financial transaction app that comes with a digital wallet that helps to transfer ... Next thing we hear was that, it's been banned by app stores, and PlayStore, not too long after, we heard of e-naira.. I kinda feel he sold the idea to CBN sha.. just a feeling oo not an assertion...

good observations. This people think we are all brain dead like their evil minions
Sir, i appreciate your input...

Need more info on this sir..

Cos I can't seems to understand why we need the e-naira..

Understandable we need BVN for banking security, then came NIN, and yes, we understood it's importance even thou we have our data flying around from one agency to the other..

But the e-naira is what I just don't understand...
BusinessAgain I Ask, Of What Use Is This E-naira? Why E-naira When Our Mobile Banking Wo by samintegrity(op): 7:00am On Oct 27, 2021
Morning people..

You may kindly enlighten me on this...

I have wondered and ponded on this same issue..

Of what use is this e-naira when our mobile banking system still does almost everything the e-naira offers??

Why do I need e-naira when I can simply send money seemlessly using my bank USSD?

Same money you have in your banking app is also digital as it's not physically held...

You can also make payment online with any of your Bank Card's.... (Just in case they say with e-naira you can pay for anything online.)

Infact, this days you don't need ATM card to withdraw from your bank ATM MACHINE, Cardless Does it better...

Is the e-naira design to be a coin ?? As in cryptocurrency...

Now, I have looked up the information about this e-naira and only found just two unnecessary reasons why e-naira is different from your naira in your local bank which to me it isn't..

So again I ask, why e-nairahuh What difference does it make? What differentiate it from my money in my bank account which is also digital not until withdrawn as physical currency?

Also don't forget that the same e-naira can be cashed out, thereby also resulting into a physical naira...

Or should we just say that just like other commercial banks in the country, CBN simply want to engage it's people to bank with it directly?

Now if that's the case, why is the Federal Government taking this as an achievement??

Are they planning to abolish commercial banks mobile banking system?? And get them replaced with e-naira or what??

Kindly check the attached screenshot.

According to CBN, HERE IS WHY THE E-NAIRA IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR OTHER BANKING SYSTEM...

"What makes eNaira different from the funds in my bank account?

eNaira is a digital currency and is a direct liability on the Central Bank of Nigeria while the money in your bank account is Naira held as deposit liabilities by the financial institution."

"What are the benefits of using the eNaira?

eNaira is a fast, affordable, secure, and reliable payment option designed to support the digital economy and aid financial inclusion in Nigeria. eNaira will, among other benefits, enhance the Nigerian payment ecosystem, increase revenue and tax collection, aid targeted social interventions, and improve diaspora remittances. Users can make contactless payments with eNaira by scanning a QR code."

They said it will increase revenue?? Like seriously?? What then does the #50 stamp duty on transactions above #3000 on your local bank do??

Aid tax collection?? Like seriously??

Improve diaspora remittance?? Like seriously??

Pls if you know more or understand better, kindly help out..

Thanks

For the Tokunbo One, there is a way you verify if it's up to the measure, though you might not be able to see inside clearly, you should have at least put in an object like a broomstick to determine it's level...

The force from the revving of your engine probably blew it away...

The Noise from the pots can arise from any of them or even both of them... So, I can't specifically determine that without examining it...

If you would like me to help you with a replacement, you can send me a message on WhatsApp, let's determine the one that's best for You...

However, where problem comes in is when instead of using full Catalyst, the installer tends to probably cut it in two or even three, it becomes super Lean and once you rev your engine, it gets broken inside...

...
I am sure this was what they installed in the tokunbo that I bought..

I don't trust those Igbo guys grin
AutosRe: Looking To Replace Your Missing Or Damaged Car Catalyst Or Catalytic Converter? by samintegrity(m): 6:21am On Sep 30, 2021
SublimeAutos1:
First of All, the Noise is meant to reduce after installation but some reasons might exist why it didn't...

First, there is the Tokunbo one and there is the Brand New One, the Tokunbo one doesn't cause Noise as it has already been preinstalled properly but the brand new one demands that your catalytic pot be removed and the cat installed inside manually... If the job is done neatly and perfectly, it won't cause any noise to arise...

However, where problem comes in is when instead of using full Catalyst, the installer tends to probably cut it in two or even three, it becomes super Lean and once you rev your engine, it gets broken inside...

It's best to just remove it because it's broken already and it's particles might get into your cylinder and cause problems...

If you want, I could send you a Direct Tokunbo One, No Manual installation Needed... Your Panel beater just needs to cut and weld it in and trust me, the problem would be eliminated and that one would last Longer...

You can chat me up on WhatsApp with the number on my signature, so we can discuss further and make further arrangements that would be convenient for You...
Sir I bought the tokunbo own ooo and also it didn't cut.

But I want to agree with you on the fact that it might be a small one they installed, after all I cant get to see the inside to determined the extent of the cat. You can only see the opening/joining point that there's Cat there.

That said, I don't mind doing the manual installation..

How much sir?

And also which of the pot is responsible for eliminating the noise??

Is it the front one or the downstream one..
AutosRe: Looking To Replace Your Missing Or Damaged Car Catalyst Or Catalytic Converter? by samintegrity(m): 5:56pm On Sep 29, 2021
Sup bro..

I bought an after market front cat in Akure for my Camry 04

However, I still noticed the sound is still loud, I was expecting a total calm as seen on others around but no..

If I may ask, how does yours work? Does it resolve both fuel issues and also eliminate the awkward noise while driving ..

And if yes..

How do I get you to help fix the downstream cat? Or probably replace both..

And what's the price?

He's not supposed to fill the form unless he resides in the US or claims to be.

My question is, are you using a IS AdSense account??

Many created one due to serious issues of approval being faced.

So if you are using a US AdSense account then yes there's nothing you can do about it but if your AdSense account is a Nigerian one, I meant while signing up for adsense account you didn't claim to be in the US but Nigeria then you need contact them asap so as to get it resolved.

Shalom..

Meanwhile I am inviting you all to the forthcoming YOUTH convention of the RCCG..

Sir, it's a game and moreso they are all being foolish..

It's all a play to see Lagos remaining the hub or center of business..

Otherwise I still don't understand why someone would have to drive several miles to do something that can be easily fixed near by..

Believe it or not, we have lazy governor's...

By now there's nothing stopping ports to be established in several other states in Nigeria but instead of doing this, The government would rather prefer building a railway line to a far away country Niger...Stupid pple.

@Naija8240 I am waiting for the day Wike will take up that last part of the point you raised. How can a country of 200m depend on the port in Lagos whereas there are ports in Onne, Calabar and Warri? It seems the South South governors left their fights to Wike alone.

Noted sir

de3lar:
Contact a Toyota service centre, pay them and let dem ship it down to you.

Or you sef steal one from a new imported Tokunbo car.

Or buy a complete Tokunbo exhaust line from the manifold to the catalyst to the muffler and the exit exhaust and check if the Tokunbo doesn't have a cutout. Cos on mine when dem comot the exhaust link, I saw where dem cut am out. And tell them not to mess with the O2 sensor else, ECU will pump more fuel into the engine and it'll chop fuel.

Other than that, anything else you see na fake.

You see what I said bro, it's the fake one you ended up buying..

Those guys are very terrible.. that's more of the reason I have refused to buy to my 03 Camry, it very rare to see the right one .

If it was to be the original one with the real indomi bro you won't notice the car sound even as you speed, it would have remained very quite while on top speed.

Let me add my own submission, it might help.

I was experiencing serious fuel consumption on my 03 Camry.

I tried all, but no improvement, not until I changed the first O2 Sensor, I think that 02 Sensor is greatly responsible..

Mind you, min doesn't have a catalyst converter too..

I deliberately didn't replace it cos the one I bought for my 07 Camry didn't do much, it only reduce the car sound while moving slowly but the moment I move a bit faster you get to hear the loud noise again which means it was a fake I bought for 41k.
Car TalkRe: Car Indomie/Catalyst For 2009 Toyota Corolla Is How Much ? by samintegrity(m): 5:44am On Aug 26, 2021
There's an after market one I bought last year for 30k I don't know how great it works, though I did noticed the car moves silently when I move slowly as against the loud noise I get before but then when I fire the voice loud ehn oo.. I doubt if the real thing was ever there.. those Igbo guys are too brilliant for my liken.. they must have sold something else for me..

In fact, how do one confirm the real one shd be added to your question sir

Pls how true is this?

“It is very unfortunate and very sad that in spite of the outcry and the condemnation that greeted the National Assembly’s approval of the PIB, a paltry three per cent is allocated for the host communities’ development and the outrageous 30 per cent of the NNPC’s profit that is allotted for oil exploration in the frontiers, which we know is basically North-East Nigeria, perhaps North-Central Nigeria.

Oil producing states get 3% while 30% goes to oil exploration??

Exploration where exactly?? The ones being done in the north??
