It's can be sometimes difficult for a student to pay up the school tuition balance oo, most employers here don't want to employ someone on a student visa due to the 20hrs/week restriction

Unless it's an MRes program that your dependant works full time, you may struggle and really not meet up with school tuition balance o

It's wise if you can afford to pay a good percentage of your tuition as deposit before leaving Nigeria o

That's my advice

I was denied for incorrect bank statement calculation on September 13th 2025 and I never got the refusal email till October 13th 2025. But the refusal letter was dated September 13th. My biometrics then was on August 20th 2025. It was a frustrating 2 months wait after various paid calls, emails and everything only to be handed a refusal in October.

Reached out to school, got another CAS and thank God just received my visa. For all waiting, it will come in Jesus Name

yeah.. it’s just an automated message.. nothing serious.especially if they mail says not complex .. it’s only frightening if it’s NSF(not straight forward) you might still get visa approval on your 15th working day maybe tomorrow.

Got also yesterday, did biometric on 30th, I heard similar case with several others applicants that had their biometric on 30th, funny thing is, only mail I got before now was a processing mail on 5th Jan, since then nothing more, only for them to send SLA yesterday

I did my biometrics on December 30th, got a processing mail on the 5th. Until today it’s total silence. Likewise my friend. So it’s possible we all were placed in the same batch. The wait is tiring but let’s keep hoping.

Same here, did bio on 30th, got processing mail on 5th till date nothing.

Meanwhile, some persons too we did same date, whom also got the same processing mail on 5th, some of them were given their visa on Wednesday

Good day please I did my bio of the 29th of dec and I paid priority got a mail 7th jan unable to process visa within processing time tho before now i withdrew my application willingly because I misplaced my passport and the school withdrew my cas which enabled the ukvi withdraw my application faster with a confirmation email before I got the confirmation email I found my passport and told my school but as you know once you request for withdrawal (refund) at im website you cant re activate the application again long story short my school spoke to ukvi and allowed me
Use my old CAS and I also submitted an investment account different from the first application and everything is correct and intact now please do I have to be worried about anything ? My Sch Aston resumed 5th

Was it an investment certificate you submitted earlier or normal bank statement?

Also, if it was an investment certificate you submitted earlier, why not just use same certificate or ask the company to simply states an extension of your investment? That solves issues of red flags

What about others that died as a result of normal truck hitting them? Did we hear anything?

People were knocked down by okada and died instantly, we didn't hear anything..

Please don't misunderstand me, I am fully in support of Dangote compensating the family, but then, the family shouldn't see it as a means to make unreasonable demands.

That's my point, none of us prays for such unfortunate incidents, but then the truth must be said, any other truck could have hit her, and we won't hear this much noise..

Like someone said up there, the lady that died obviously has a terrible sister.

Several people died via okada accident, we didn't hear noise..
Several other hundreds via road accident, perhaps travelling, and yet we didn't bring NURTW down.

Sometimes I just don't understand our issues,
Dangote was obviously not the one driving the said truck..

But you want to suddenly make billions out of this, like seriously?

What if it was a a truck without Dangote name that hits her? Are we still going to use this much energy?

While I condole sincerely with the family, I just don't like the way this issue is or was being handled..

Also, I don't support the company, and of course no amount of money paid by Dangote is enough to bring back the dead, however, I honestly do hope that the family is well compensated.

That said, I am ashamed, we are very terrible people in Nigeria, honestly, very terrible people.

Bio 25th July (In Thailand)
NFS : 12 August
Used CAS email today (19th August) from University of Bath (5:pm Thailand time)

Visa approval today as well.(19 August 10:42 pm Thailand time)
Proof of fund: parallex bank (which made me scared) I had over 1500 pounds above the requested fee and I ensure I used that bank for various transactions during.
Also I left the money intact in my bank account till I see my visa..

I used same bank statement I submitted for my CAS. And luckily, my CAS was issued same day.. on 16th of July.. submitted online application on 20th cos I was waiting for bank reference letter which came late.

Note: I had one authorisation of stay refusal from Luxembourg, thou not a visa refusal because authorization of stay is usually issue even before visa application to Luxembourg ( I had to declare for the sake of transparency)

I didn't remember to add my authorisation of stay refusal letter so I did a paid email on 7th August to allow me do that but got a feedback that I won't be able to add any further documents and if they need any further documents from my end, they will reach out. (I also added a cover letter about the refusal)


Truly, God knows the best.
In addition, 2nd masters program.(Quite scared as well)

No interview.( I added a statement of purpose with proper explanation)

In case I miss any helpful info, I will drop that later.

If you’ve gotten your unconditional offer letter,you have to make your deposit immediately because it’s very important as unconditional letter means your slot has been kept so failure to pay deposit now is a risk I won’t advise you to take…please go ahead and make your deposit immediately so as to be on a safe side…

Good morning, was able to get across to the school Nigeria representative.

He advised we wait till after Pre CAS before making payment. In his words, the school has just concluded means for their interview and would begin to roll them out in two weeks time.

So I asked him specifically, if I should go ahead to make payment. He said he would advise we wait till after the interview.

My advise is that you explore other options because the que for Wolverhampton is quite long just so you are not dissapointed in the end.one of my students is currently waiting for unconditional letter after paying deposit since February and was later deferred to sept and till now no unconditional offer letter so I had to make other arrangements so he won’t be disappointed in the end…

We applied also for May intake but was deferred to sept intake.

While we had conditional offer all along, it didn't even crossed my mind to make payment at all cos at some point they kept requesting for Another personal statement upon another.

It was until April 28th that they finally sent my unconditional offer, so for now we are waiting for pre CAS interview.

Why I asked was because, upon checking my application status tab via e-vision, I saw that we are to pay the deposit now.

So am just kinda confused. Will attach it now.

Kindly note that she had no dependants when she initially travelled to the UK for her studies. As such, I am currently unable to join her as a dependant due to the restrictions tied to the Graduate Visa, of which she has already completed one year out of the 2 years

We are seeking your advice on the most practical and legal pathways for me to join her in the UK, as we intend to start and raise our family there.

As an option, we are also considering the possibility of me applying for a student visa, with her acting as my dependant and sponsor. This would potentially extend her stay while giving us time to explore a suitable visa route once her Graduate Visa expires.
