Compare their cagematch history, you'll see it's similar.

Jade Cargill was already a top free agent coming from a rival company. They pushed her to main roster same way they put Lucha brothers, MCMG, samoans and their former guys who left AEW.
Is Jade at their level? No. Perhaps, she should have gone the NXT route. I would say Jordynne Grace is more than ready for main roster but she can't cut long promos in the WWE way (maybe that's why she's still on NXT).

She even had a houseshow match with Ariana Grace before the NXT match.
Then came the NXT Debut which was a SQUASH MATCH (2.56 seconds) with Arianna TWO MONTHS AGO.
She worked only two matches in EVOLVE, that you're shouting that she was relegated to.

After EVOLVE, it was more houseshows and TV appearances in backstage and ring segments where she didn't WRESTLE.
Her next match was on HEATWAVE PPV last Sunday and this last NXT episode.
That brings her main NXT Matches to 3.

NXT LEVEL UP isn't same as main NXT. It's a show for upcoming talents which was replaced with Evolve. Male wrestlers also wrestled on LEVEL UP.

Looking at cagematch, this is her first match on NXT main show. She was on house shows, LEVEL UP, LFG, Evolve. They do that for fresh talents before putting them on NXT. it's same with AEW using ROH for upcoming talents.

She's big, strong, knows how to wrestle (literally an Olympic gold medalist and knows how to act (this one even surprised me). I saw Peacemaker S2 E1 and you could easily tell why this sub-genre is perhaps James Gunn's bread and better. It is just so so stellar... it's a superhero show, but it encompasses everything else, comedy, crime, drama, you just name it....I don't want to jump the Gunn, but this has a strong potential of being this year's "Penguin".

HBK fumbled when he booked Ricky to return from injury then lose against the Heel( Ethan Page) who sent him out of action.
He then lost his next match against an LFG rookie, Jasper Troy. The same Jasper Troy that Je'von and Inamura both defeated before Ricky.
Not every babyface is an underdog that can take repeated losses and still be over like Je'von and Sami Zayn.

Those things you highlighted that they consume is called fiction. And at the beginning of every fictional story, it's logic is established so nothing goes out of place in it. Wrestling doesn't use fiction. It uses sport. In fact there is no space for any genre to be applied because it's not a full blown movie as half of it's programming is real sport. The elements of entertainment are the presentation of the combatants as good guys or bad guys. So yes, they reserve the right to clown on wrestling because it's promoters have made it a joke for years and it's not funny.
