Mercy Graves is an original character that isn't in the comics though. She was an animated character. The Perry White thing being Black is what I don't get. Maybe it is one of Hollywood's racist joke, in the sense that a Black man is a white. Mercy Graves being Asian is what I felt she was in the Superman Animated Series.

The fact she's a DCAU character doesn't negate my point that snyder raceswapped her.
