Hello Folks, there was a mix up within our marketing team and wrong information was given to some people that called last week. We still have some left at the price advertised. So if you called earlier, feel free to call again. For the folks at PH, we are located near Artillery Junction opposite oceanic bank. Phone: 080 779 97284. |
Shipping cost will be minimal (will send you an email). Delivery takes 2wks max. But it really shouldn't take more than a week. You will definitely save much more this way. If you are online, let's chat. |
Seun:Yes, it is possible. Infact send me an email with your spec and even a link to it if possible. |
hmmm, Good point Seun. Well, the negotiable part was mainly for buyers that want more than one laptop. I had a couple requests on my last post asking if there were discounts for purchase of more than a single laptop. However, it is also true that I might consider lower offers than posted. update: Price has been revised and is firm. |

Wales1, you have gotten a couple of good advices on this thread. Let us know your age, educational background, and work history so we can better advice you. One great thing about here is that you have a lot of options. Without the right information and advice, too many choices then becomes a disadvantage. Bottom line, you need to be well informed before making your moves and stay well informed while you are here. |

Snazzydawn., You have put this argument into perspective. Independence day is a celebration of a milestone, a culture and a people. There are countless events that could have been organized that everyone would enjoy. Don't worry, when my company becomes fully operational and profitable, we'll do it right. |
Mo Money- You have nailed it!!!!!!!!!!! End of Story! |
I think your idea is a good one. I wouldn't regard the existing stores as competition but rather use them a case study to build an effective business model. Your business model and management is all that really matters for now as big Supermarket business in Nigeria is still virgin. |
zebudaya:Guy, I don't have links that say otherwise. Benz's are not suppose to be seen commonly, they are luxury rides. Navigators, Escalades , those are crap not luxury. Audis except A8s are semi luxury and there aren' t too many A8s seen on the streets. Ranges are luxury but the value depreciates too fast (especially the previous body style)so that is debatable. Now BMWs and Benzes. Those are comparable and guy there are just as many of each other seen on the streets. I repeat again, BMW and Benzes define true luxury. |
I overlooked Duke in my last write-up. He has done a lot of good in CR and I hope he lives up to expectation if he is voted into office. I still can't judge how he will handle a volatile nation such as Nigeria as a whole but he does have the trust of the people which counts a lot. I still believe that Ukiwe taking leadership of the country will have a positive effect. I am certain his achievement is not limited to rising to ranks of a Commodore but that in itself is a sign of good leadership. YOu should know he is not regular military guy that kissed his way up to the top, he earned it. Read a bit about him online and you will find a highly educated and disciplined man. His international appeal and trust counts a lot too and I don't doubt his ability to surround himself with the right team to stabilize and move the country forward. Duke/Ukiwe either way sounds good to me. But Ukiwe remains to me a top choice. |
I don't know how much it's sold for by the road side merchants nor the cost of soft drinks or pure water, however, I think it should be much less expensive than soft drinks. Depending on the production cost I think it can be more expensive than the roadside guys but taste better and be more hygienic among other benefits. |
You might have a point in terms of prior governmental leadership however in the case of Nigeria where almost all the governors are under-achievers or thieves, the selection becomes pretty slim. Also, let's not believe that Ebitu has nothing to show as far as leadership because he has not made it a point to highlight his achievements and if he does decide to run, I believe he will of course lay out his achievements or sell himself to the people. {sorry I don't have the time to do the research}. Anyway, Nigeria needs a face the international community recognizes and the people can trust to serve them and serve them WELL. Achievement does not boil down to building projects, Roads etc. It's like saying you achieved something because you took a shower. We applaud governors that are doing things that they ought to be doing. No governor has made any extra-ordinary achievement in Nigeria and yet they are scrambling to get elected to the Highest Seat of Government. |
True that was twenty years ago, but I happen to know him personally and his principles are unshaken. He is regarded in high esteem by most world leaders and his character unquestionable. Now what has the other guys like IBB and Buhari done for the country? Just because they remain in the public eyes (negatively for that matter) doesn't qualify them either. @Revolution: You say principle is not enought. Please what is? Expert Money launderer? Power Obsession? Check Ebitu's resume, he has demonstrated strong leadership throughout his career and his integrity and principle is what Nigeria needs at this very moment. |
@layi- Didn't mean to imply it will be a Zobo flavor. I meant actual Zobo from Zobo leaves. |
Zobo although very popular in Nigeria is yet to be commercially packaged, branded and distributed as a beverage drink. Do you think such endeavor would be widely accepted by the Nigeria public? Would you buy a branded zobo drink? |
Ebitu Ukiwe should be put on the poll list !!! |
Nobleman, wooden doors are not banned in Nigeria as I currently import doors into the country. However, locally made doors are selling well too but cannot compete yet in a specific niche. |
@naijadey -- you are on point. Revamping the Maybach was a waste of money and effort. They ignored the S-Class for a minute to create the Maybach which failed to compete with Bentley or Rolls Royce. MB has now refocused and redesigned the S-Class and it is back to it former glory. Funny enough this latest S-Class looks much better than the Maybach and I only wonder how loaded the S600 will be. I'll settle for the S55 if I was to buy one. @Zebudaya-- zebudaya:Not so, MB defines Luxury around the world, US included. |
My dear, I think your family has done enough. I strongly suggest that they are moved out as soon as possible especially with their strange dealings and unexplainable situation. I don't believe their story one bit and if they are worth helping then they should be able to fully explain their plight and convincingly beyond doubt. Again, I appluad your good will, but don't let this turn sour because it might affect how you help people who actually need help in the future. |
SAMM -- 28 -- Freshest In Da Block. Hey Hotstepper, pls change the pic in your profile. The previous pic looked much much much much better. ![]() |
@Layi Hello, I will be visiting DUbai before heading to Nigeria in August. I intend to look around and hopefully buy some GSM phones. Can you give me any tips or advice since this will be my first time. Thanks much. |
Maestro does work in the USA usually as a cash dispensing card (ATM USE). However I have used it in some gas stations years back. THis should settle your arguments. http://www.maestrocard.com/questions/faqs/ Maestro is a member of the MasterCard/Maestro/Cirrus ATM network, which is the largest in the world, giving you immediate access to cash wherever you go. To locate an ATM in a particular place, try our ATM Locator, or, within the United States and Canada, call 1-800-4Cirrus (1-800-424-7787). Outside the United States and Canada, contact your financial institution. |
bulwark what is your email? I can be of assistace. |
Kaplan is By far the best study guide for any examination. Let me warn you that their test questions are very difficult and that almost guarantees you your best possible score. Also, go to Amazon.com and read reviews of GRE study guides. You will learn alot from other peoples reviews and study strategies. |
You might want to write them and refer them to the FATF website where they announced the ban lift if you can find it. Post their info here. I might give them a call too and ask them when they intend to defreeze the accounts. |
