Cashraft Asset Management floats N2b unit trust fund

Cashcraft Asset Management Limited has floated a unit trust fund tagged cashcraft fund to enable investors maximise returns through an optimal combination of asset allocation and long-term capital appreciation.

Packaged by Greenwich Trust Limited as issuing house and NIDB Trustees Limited as trustees to the fund, the managers are offering two billion units of N1 each at 1 per share with an initial closing of 50 million units in the crashcraft fund.

The target investments of the fund according to the prospectus include equities of companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, real estate, fixed income debt instruments and money market instruments.

The target investors of the fund, by the prospectus, are small, medium and high networth individuals and institutional investors (public and Private), it opens on May 21 2007 and closes on June 18, 2007.

Already, 10 per cent of the offer has been preferentially allotted to Cashcraft Asset Management Limited in compliance with the current regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), mandating promoters of unit trust schemes in the country to subscribe to a maximum of 10 per cent of the initial issued unit of such schemes.

The Cashcraft Fund, which is constituted under a trust deed, is a balanced fund comprising, equity, money market instruments under a trust deed, is a balanced fund that affords superior returns from a balanced asset allocation strategy.

As an open ended fund, subscriptions can be made during the offer at the offer price and investors are free to subscribe to its units after the Initial Public offering through Cashcraft Asset Management Limited or any agent duly appointed by the fund manager.

In accordance with the position of the Trust Deed, the fund manager will issue additional units of the fund to subscribers on demand after this offer of units has been fully subscribed, subject to the approval and registration of the additional units by the commission. - Guardian

Since you're based in the US, is it possible to select a specific model based on my research for procurement?
Yes, it is possible. Infact send me an email with your spec and even a link to it if possible.
Technology MarketRe: Brand New Laptops For Sale by samm(op): 11:46pm On Apr 30, 2007
hmmm, Good point Seun.  Well, the negotiable part was mainly for buyers that want more than one laptop.  I had a couple requests on my last post asking if there were discounts for purchase of more than a single laptop.

However, it is also true that I might consider lower offers than posted.
update:
Price has been revised and is firm.

Wales1, you have gotten a couple of good advices on this thread.  Let us know your age, educational background, and work history so we can better advice you.
One great thing about here is that you have a lot of options.
Without the right information and advice, too many choices then becomes a disadvantage.
Bottom line, you need to be well informed before making your moves and stay well informed while you are here.

Christino:
Duuh.

Firstly I didn't know there was anything like Pentium M Centrino Core duoshocked i only know of either but not both, thanks for educating me. There's Pentium M, There's celeron M, There's Centrino, There's Core Duo, There's Core 2 Duo and whatever. but here, i'm surprised.

Secondly a refurbished laptop cannot be as good as new and is too expensive for 95k. 1.83Ghz goes for as low as 85K in Ikeja.
Please read:
The Intel® Core™ Duo processor breaks new ground. Its dual-core technology rewrites the rules of computing, delivering optimized power efficient computing and breakthrough dual-core performance with amazingly low power consumption. Intel Core Duo processor is available in Intel's premium laptop platform, Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology+. It can also be found in select Intel® Viiv™ technology-based systems∇.

Also:
Centrino = Pentium-M + Intel 855 chipset + Intel 802.11b . reference: http://www.upenn.edu/computing/home/news/2003/centrino.html

anyway,
@Seun
I bought the laptop refurbished by Toshiba.  IT has not been used since bought. still sealed in box.  It is as good as new because it was refurbished and certified by Toshiba.  Anyone who is interested should call 080 779 97284 immediately.  This is a very fair price.

Snazzydawn., You have put this argument into perspective. Independence day is a celebration of a milestone, a culture and a people. There are countless events that could have been organized that everyone would enjoy.
Don't worry, when my company becomes fully operational and profitable, we'll do it right.

BusinessRe: Will A Large Supermarket Thrive In Nigeria? by samm(m): 3:00pm On Aug 23, 2006
I think your idea is a good one. I wouldn't regard the existing stores as competition but rather use them a case study to build an effective business model. Your business model and management is all that really matters for now as big Supermarket business in Nigeria is still virgin.

zebudaya:
@samm you say benz's define luxury in the U.S but benz'z are not doing that well in the U.S luxury market, please post links that prove otherwise. How many benz's do you see on the street compared to Lexus or even BMW's and Audi's.
even their SUV's (G'class) are not doing as well as the Escalade, Navigator and Range rover
Guy, I don't have links that say otherwise. Benz's are not suppose to be seen commonly, they are luxury rides. Navigators, Escalades , those are crap not luxury. Audis except A8s are semi luxury and there aren' t too many A8s seen on the streets. Ranges are luxury but the value depreciates too fast (especially the previous body style)so that is debatable. Now BMWs and Benzes. Those are comparable and guy there are just as many of each other seen on the streets.
I repeat again, BMW and Benzes define true luxury.
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by samm(m): 6:06pm On Aug 11, 2006
I overlooked Duke in my last write-up.  He has done a lot of good in CR and I hope he lives up to expectation if he is voted into office.  I still can't judge how he will handle a volatile nation such as Nigeria as a whole but he does have the trust of the people which counts a lot.

I still believe that Ukiwe taking leadership of the country will have a positive effect.  I am certain his achievement is not limited to rising to ranks of a Commodore but that in itself is a sign of good leadership.  YOu should know he is not regular military guy that kissed his way up to the top, he earned it.  Read a bit about him online and you will find a highly educated and disciplined man.  His international appeal and trust counts a lot too and I don't doubt his ability to surround himself with the right team to stabilize and move the country forward.

Duke/Ukiwe either way sounds good to me. But Ukiwe remains to me a top choice.
FoodRe: Commercially Packaged And Branded Zobo Beverage by samm(op): 4:38pm On Aug 11, 2006
I don't know how much it's sold for by the road side merchants nor the cost of soft drinks or pure water,  huh however, I think it should be much less expensive than soft drinks.  Depending on the production cost I think it can be more expensive than the roadside guys but taste better and be more hygienic among other benefits.
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by samm(m): 4:36pm On Aug 11, 2006
You might have a point in terms of prior governmental leadership however in the case of Nigeria where almost all the governors are under-achievers or thieves, the selection becomes pretty slim.

Also, let's not believe that Ebitu has nothing to show as far as leadership because he has not made it a point to highlight his achievements and if he does decide to run, I believe he will of course lay out his achievements or sell himself to the people. {sorry I don't have the time to do the research}.

Anyway, Nigeria needs a face the international community recognizes and the people can trust to serve them and serve them WELL.  Achievement does not boil down to building projects, Roads etc. It's like saying you achieved something because you took a shower.  We applaud governors that are doing things that they ought to be doing.   No governor has made any extra-ordinary achievement in Nigeria and yet they are scrambling to get elected to the Highest Seat of Government.
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by samm(m): 3:38pm On Aug 11, 2006
True that was twenty years ago, but I happen to know him personally and his principles are unshaken. He is regarded in high esteem by most world leaders and his character unquestionable. Now what has the other guys like IBB and Buhari done for the country? Just because they remain in the public eyes (negatively for that matter) doesn't qualify them either.

@Revolution: You say principle is not enought. Please what is? Expert Money launderer? Power Obsession?
Check Ebitu's resume, he has demonstrated strong leadership throughout his career and his integrity and principle is what Nigeria needs at this very moment.
FoodRe: Commercially Packaged And Branded Zobo Beverage by samm(op): 3:31pm On Aug 11, 2006

FoodCommercially Packaged And Branded Zobo Beverage by samm(op): 1:53pm On Aug 11, 2006
Zobo although very popular in Nigeria is yet to be commercially packaged, branded and distributed as a beverage drink.  Do you think such endeavor would be widely accepted by the Nigeria public? Would you buy a branded zobo drink?
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by samm(m): 1:46pm On Aug 11, 2006

Nobleman, wooden doors are not banned in Nigeria as I currently import doors into the country. However, locally made doors are selling well too but cannot compete yet in a specific niche.
Car TalkRe: The New Mercedes Maybach? by samm(m): 4:00pm On Jul 26, 2006
@naijadey -- you are on point. Revamping the Maybach was a waste of money and effort. They ignored the S-Class for a minute to create the Maybach which failed to compete with Bentley or Rolls Royce.
MB has now refocused and redesigned the S-Class and it is back to it former glory. Funny enough this latest S-Class looks much better than the Maybach and I only wonder how loaded the S600 will be. I'll settle for the S55 if I was to buy one.

@Zebudaya--
zebudaya:
what market are you talking about?[/b] because I know for sure in the U.S market Lexus, acura, bmw, infiniti are the top dawgs benz is nowhere near people don't really buy Benz's.
Not so, MB defines Luxury around the world, US included.
TravelRe: Does This Sound True / False? Please Advise! by samm(m): 4:02pm On Jul 21, 2006
My dear, I think your family has done enough.  I strongly suggest that they are moved out as soon as possible especially with their strange dealings and unexplainable situation.  I don't believe their story one bit and if they are worth helping then they should be able to fully explain their plight and convincingly beyond doubt.
Again, I appluad your good will, but don't let this turn sour because it might affect how you help people who actually need help in the future.

BusinessRe: Does Any Nigerian Bank Offer Maestro Cards? by samm(m): 8:27pm On Jun 28, 2006
Maestro does work in the USA usually as a cash dispensing card (ATM USE). However I have used it in some gas stations years back. THis should settle your arguments.

Maestro is a member of the MasterCard/Maestro/Cirrus ATM network, which is the largest in the world, giving you immediate access to cash wherever you go. To locate an ATM in a particular place, try our ATM Locator, or, within the United States and Canada, call 1-800-4Cirrus (1-800-424-7787). Outside the United States and Canada, contact your financial institution.

You might want to write them and refer them to the FATF website where they announced the ban lift if you can find it. Post their info here. I might give them a call too and ask them when they intend to defreeze the accounts.
