SmartPolician: That's why I questioned NBS stats yesterday. This naira scarcity is supposed make the demand for commodities to crash. I guess they gathered the reports before the cash shortage came into full swing. Nigeria economy is always a reverse of economy theory Nigeria economy doesn't obey Rule of Demand and Supply. Nigeria economy Doesn't obey monetary and Fiscal policy |

Gosh, I was really annoyed with Smartpolitician for his comment on this thread ( https://www.nairaland.com/7571826/post-status-commercial-banks-area#120957637) even though he's among the reasonable Obidents alongside Raccoon, wiseandtrue among others. For the record, No one, I'm not sure anyone isn't supporting the Policy. The only thing they (including myself) were against is the Timely, Implementation and Lack of New Notes. If we have enough New Notes, no one will be complaining. By the way, This is not how to stop vote buying, does that means that we will keep changing notes every 8 Years ? To stop vote buying, you have to make it a Law and Improve voting Devices. People like us don't have problems as along as My Palmpay, Opay and Kuda are active . I even post it on my Whatsapp status almost everyday that my folks should get those apps. It'll make transfer easier in buying whatever we need. BUT. should we think of ourselves only? Many people from villages brings their Goods from the villages to sell in town. Tomatoes, Pepper, Vegetables, Fruits, Rice, Beans etc and they don't have bank accounts . For example. Ikire is a town located In Osun State. It only has 1 Bank (First Bank) The little town next to it has 1 Bank (Access). If you are using other banks apart from these two O.Y.O is your case, you'll have to visit Ibadan or Osogbo. Ikirun is also another town. They don't even have 1 single bank at all. mynd44, Seun, nlfpmod

CoronaVirusRelo: What can Okowa do? If Atiku and Obi were running mates, coming election would have been a walkover for them.
The SE and SS has always been a PDP base. Even APC don’t play active politics there. So Obi leaving PDP is a big blow for Atiku’s campaign. All the usual block votes from the SE and SS is gone.
APC is not expecting to have a big win in the SE and SS cos they never had big wins there. But PDP can not make same statement. They got block votes from there which Obi has taken away Exactly where I'm driving to |

Ezeama400: You are using 2019 election to judge abi ?, you forgot that we didn't have an option in 2019, that 2019 election was to push Buhari away..
After the election your eyes go clear, by then you will realise that GEJ votes are still intact ..
It's your camp that splitted into 3.. Kwankwaso, Atiku and Tinubu's camp..
Everybody that voted for Jonathan is in Obi's camp today, plus more people that joined
You will realise hose foolish some of you are politically next two weeks lazynairalander1: I don't know who's more funnier op or the group Admin who made this up. Obi presence is more of a disservice to tinubu than it is to Atiku. Tinubu would have to cruise on the "it's the turn of the south" and an Omesbrit: I wonder where Tinubu will get the vote win Atiku, Tinubu should be grateful to Obi for given southerner a credible opportunity to win the presidency. Atiku would hv won Tinubu on landslide. Onyiridike: When una go get sense? NE & NW are for Atiku NC, SS & SE are for Obi Where will Tinubu get his votes outside SW? And you think Obi is helping Tinubu to win? Okay, he will help him rule Nigeria for 8 years. I understand now. There's a reason why I didn't quote nor reply four of una |

Kyase: When PDP lose the election because of obi, do you expect them to ever give him the ticket
In 2031 Tambuwal and wike will join force Watch and see Unless Tinubu gives him ministerial position But they gave it to Atiku. But, let us wait and see. We will all be alive to witness the Good Regime after the exit of the General |

kettykin: This is not true, if Obi did not contest, the campaign strategy for power shift to the south would have given Tinubu a big edge in the south, Obi has taken that edge and turned it into a level playing field. With this Naira crisis? I beg to disagree |

PeterObi4LP: OP book mark this my page. Tinubu will never win this election dead or alive. Unless Buhari decide to favour him to rig to his favour.
No region or state will save Tinubu ass as at today. The North will not leave their beloved brother Kwankwaso and Atiku to vote Tinubu who is a fake Muslim and can't respite Koran. They voted Abiola who is even more a traditionalist They Voted Obasanjo They voted Good luck |

Kyase: I have prayed and fast for obi.... I pray he wins massively in SS and SE Get enough votes in NC.
If obi steps down for Atiku, all of us go join swear for am Swears. But he should go back to PDP after this election. And hopefully he will win the ticket in 2027. As Atiku would have been retired to Dubai |

CoronaVirusRelo: True!
When God wants to fvck someone up, he makes them confused!
The split was a win for Tinubu! Coming election was already concluded the day Obi left PDP Yeah, I swear if he was atiku vice year. That's all. Nothing can stop them from winning. |
Politics › Unpopular Opinion: I Think Tinubu Should Be Grateful To Obi by Sammy07(op): 3:42pm On Feb 16, 2023 |
Well, I think Tinubu should be grateful to Obi for running on a Different Platform (I think we all know why).
If Obi had been Atiku vice this year, Then they would have been writing their speech right now.
APC Loyal Supporters should be praying 3 Prayers
1. Make Obi no drop out to Endorse Atiku
2. Make Obi continue to be popular in his base, even if he can have 90% of each South East States
3. Make APC northern governors continue to be loyal to the Party. |

Fact of the matter is that the old note is what made Nigeria function for the past two weeks otherwise Nigeria would have had anarchy of biblical proportions and of international news standard. Didn't your Atiku won my state in 2019? Why didn't you vote for Mogalu, Abi no be Atiku endorse Buhari? How come you voted for the man that endorse Buhari? |
Politics › Re: Post The Status Of Commercial Banks In Your Area by Sammy07: 1:35pm On Feb 16, 2023 |
SmartPolician: Stop blaming the president did carrying old notes. We had ample time to return that useless currency. From 31st January, it was extended to February 10th. Yet, you still carry that cash about.
It's unfortunate that we have grown to see this country as a lawless place where government officials make laws, and citizens don't take them seriously, hoping that it will be extended. This is the only logical explanation for carrying old naira notes beyond the February 10th deadline. It's so unfortunate that Nairaland mods will ban me if I curse your generation using Ikale Ayelala. What type of nonsense are you saying? Do you know the hardship Nigerians are facing? After depositing the old notes, where are the new notes? In many communities in Ondo South there are no banks. They will have to travel down to town about 2hrs, are you the one to pay for their expenses? Why are you this Fo.....ol...ish, shey ori e gba.....le ni? Abi what nonsense is coming out your mouth? That you have access to transfer easily does that mean everyone has access to it? Some communities in Ondo south no get light since about 12 years now, so they will be using transfers where there is no network? Will you be the one to pay for their transport fare if they made transfers and it doesn't get delivered yet they are being debited? Is your No 7 working at all? Are you really making use of your brain? No one is against the policy. The implementation and time frame is too short. Have you been to market recently and see if they have been making profit? What is your state of origin? The nonsense you typed up there, they no born you to say it offline. Forming woke online. So all your family members and friends have gotten the new notes

Zonefree: Chief Jude Ugbaja, an APC man was beaten blue and black during 2019 election. He's a regular caller in Hot FM radio Owerri. He came with money to buy votes for APC at Amakohia ward. He was beaten by angry youths and they collected the money.
Ask anyone staying in Owerri. Wow, so how many people was lynched in imo, or he was the only one who bought votes in the Whole IMO state and by extension South East in 2019 |
