Hedonisco: These ones are not your typical afonja white collar workers who live and die for salary.... Who have to rush back on January 2 to avoid getting sack letter.
They are ballers, and their holidays are always extended. December typically 'ends' as from January second week for most Igbo ballers, year in year out. Mumu, and they told you their money is cleaned?? Funny. |

LegendHero: Brother, I understand you perfectly and you’re right with your assertions. However none of most guys on Nairaland started like this, if we are not setting some record straight then our history will be re-written by other people.
Most times on here, I’m always drafted to situations where I think some people are misinforming people about some pertinent issues. An example is the Muslim-Christian Yoruba separation induced by some Igbo folks on Nairaland. If we continue to keep shut, they will somehow polarize the mind of the Christian Yorubas against the Muslims coz propaganda is a dangerous weapon that can set brothers against one another. People like us are here to at least set some narratives right and try to be a voice of reason.
I won’t say I don’t come up as tribalistic in some of my posts coz sometimes you can only engage people by talking like them. Well by nature all Nigerians are tribalist. Just that the Yorubas and Igbos never took the tribalism to mortal aggressions, we only create problems online while in physical world we all co-exist peacefully.
I’ve seen the thread you directed me to. You would agree with me that the thread was borne out of the fact that some Igbo guys were trying to condemn Yorubas as poor and unsuccessful. If not for the creation of that thread that outlined Yorubas achievement, some independent observers would have believed the initial statements. That shows you the importance of setting records straight, which is what I do sometimes.
Most times I always try to restrain myself from commenting but I haven’t yet gotten that personal restraint to remain calm in the face of outright provocation. You might have gotten that but I’m still working on mine. With time things will change.
@the last question, NO. There hasn’t been cases of that and I appreciate them for that. Hmm You and DNSPro gave a proper orientation to everyone.... |

itsme01: honestly that was why i suggested Lagos anexing Oyo vast useless land, since Lagos overflowed into Ogun their IGR started improveing greatly, Kebbi and Lagos collaboration on Agriculture earned millions for Kebbi, abeg Lagos should think of something they want from Oyo so we can benefit like Ogun and Kebbi
Honestly Akeredolu is on a class of his own, its a shame he doesnt make noise... when his cassava refinery is done, the money Ondo would make from ethanol would be massive Actually you're correct and I recommend that, but you know Ogun is more closer to Lagos than Oyo. And Oyo is More closer to Ogun than Lagos. |

itsme01: Ondo with 3 - 4 million population 178bn
Oyo with 5 - 8 million population 213 bn , Oyo actually should have up to 500Bn. Ibadan alone will consume 200B. Ibadan is big, like 4 Nigeria states.. Then, I feel budget deals with revenue generation. How the governor will generate the revenue is the koko Then you know Ondo is part of Oil Producing state.. That's part of the revenue. States government should find means to generate revenue, that's why I don't sometimes blame akeredolu for his Indian Hemp... Ekiti is the only state in SW that I have pity to, |

Last year He signed N193.903 billion. He called it, Budget of Advancement "Of this amount, N10.369 billion representing 5.3% is for Debt Service; N9.568 billion representing 4.9% is for Statutory Transfers to OSOPADEC and the 10% share of Independent Revenue to Joint Account and Allocation Committee (JAAC) of Local Governments in the State " The sums of N83.852 billion and N90.113 billion representing 43.2% and 46.5% are for Recurrent Expenditure and Capital Development respectively. " BrandSpurNG: N187,858,525,273.00.
He said the amount is divided into N10.508 billion, representing 5.6% for Debt Servicing, N14,180 billion representing 7.6 % as Statutory Transfers to Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) and 10% share of Independent Revenue to Joint Account and Allocation Committee (JAAC) of Local Governments in the State.
According to the Governor, the sums of N82.700 billion and N80.470 billion, representing 44.1% and42.7% are for Recurrent Expenditure and Capital Development respectively. This year, he signed #187B, he called it budget of growth Last year budget N83.852 billion and N90.113 billion representing 43.2% and 46.5% are for Recurrent Expenditure and Capital Development... This Year Budget N82.700 billion and N80.470 billion, representing 44.1% and42.7% are for Recurrent Expenditure and Capital Development respectively. Conclusions: Judging by the above, this year budget is reduced compared to last year, are we sure this man will pay the minimum wage? Advancement should come after growth. SamuelAnyawu:

Sambisa is now peaceful bro. The real threats in Nigeria is Lake Chad Basin. Any Soldier deployed to Borno North (Baga,Gubio,Magumeri,Abadam,Marte, Kukawa and Gudzamala) is almost like a death sentence.
My Soldier friends in Sambisa areas (Pulka,Gwoza,Bitta,Damboa) axis are enjoying their stay because Shekau Bokoharam which control that axis can't pull any stunts like before since the separation.
ISWAP is which controls Borno North and Borno Central is what we are scared off... I commend you bro, but don't die now. |
