Firstly, Blood oath is bad. Tell her to find possible means of breaking the oath (Both of them).
2ndly, Ask her if the guy met her on the streets. If yes, then probably he still have a little doubts in her. If No, i don't know what to say here.
3rdly, Not all men are scum, she just have chance to met the wrong set of people...
I've been heartbroken twice, it doesn't mean all girls are the same.. |
Politics › Re: Lets share ideas on How To Solve Nigeria's Electric Power Problem by Sammy07: 5:40pm On Jan 06, 2020 |
Well the only solution I can think of is.
The South should make use of Gas and Coal to generate electricity.
The North should make use of Solar to generate electricity..
This will serve as a backup to the National grild we rely on..
Just like inverter, Immediately they take of the light, It will continue working without blinking a bit... We can make use of these method and actualized 24/7 supply of light...
Finally, Meter is important and people should pay for electricity. If Power supply should be 24/7, and there is any citizen who failed to pay his or her bill should face the court...
This will make people to be more serious |

johntolu: I will like to add a piece to confirm some of the facts in your post. Historically & culturally, the Egun tribe may not be a part of the Yoruba Nation but they have a long history of association with the Yorubas. The current paramount ruler of Badagry, the biggest town of the Eguns, is an Oba with a Yoruba name, Babatunde. His predecessor, Oba C.D Akran was a prominent member of the Western Nigeria Council of Chiefs during the colonial period and a cabinet minister in Western Nigeria during the 1st Republic. I am sure most Eguns will not share the sentiments being propagated, by some people, on this forum. Thank you very much sir... |

My response to your picture.
Badagry (Agbadaigi) and all the way to Cotonou in Republic of Benin was the land of the Egun. Due to inter tribal wars, the Fon, Egun, Ewe and some other neighboring tribes were conquered by Oyo and were made to pay tax and homage to Alaafin. Under the Imperial power of Oyo the Eguns were guaranteed security under Yoruba sovereignty and this is how they became Yoruba citizens even though their Nationality is not Yoruba. |

maynation: The best Governor so far is the late Olusegun Agagu. The only thing Mimiko did was beautification and these beautifications only aided his looting intentions. He has so many ludicrous and ridiculous projects to his name, contracts that ordinarily shouldn't cost more then 10 million naira were awarded for billions. Then again, I like what Aketi is doing so far. He has been productive so far but his dispensations are not balanced. For instance he is industrious and has generated greater revenue than alkl past governors but then again this increment in revenue is a pure case of 'killing Peter to revive Paul'. He increased Tax, tuition fees and other schemes just so he could be termed productive. This will definitely nail him down, because a bunch lot of students won't support him. Secondly, you said AKoko people will vote their own? Is Aketi one of theirs? The same Aketi that worked against their very own (Sen Ajayi Boroffice ). Abi have you forgotten how Aketi supported AA against APC in the last election? How the will Akoko people support him? Okay, I have heard you.... But That tutition fees... I think he did right. Reason is that, AAUA/Rufus Giwa Poly students are paying far lower than what their counter parts are paying (OSUTECH) and the truth is, he can't reduce OSUTECH fees, because cost of running State University is high. That's why he raised the fees. If you check all southwest states and see their fees... Like Kwasu close to where I school. Their fees is more than 300k |

maynation: Blah blah blah
You only chose to stay put with the presidential election, I as well stated senatorial election too which you chose to ignore.
In 2015, APC won 2 senatorial seats out of 3 and 5 House of rep seats out of nine.
In 2019, APC won 1 senatorial seat and 4 house of Rep seats one of which was a PDP decampee if not it would have been 3.
Aren't these internal politics?
As per your claims about Mimiko being the best performing governor of Ondo state so far, I leave you to your conscience. One thing is, Ondo don't deals party. They deals with personality... I remember Pre Akeredolu, Those Akure, Owo and Ikare areas said, they are going to vote for the person that comes out from their town, irrespective of their Party.. That's why I said, Akeredolu will lose the election if he isn't the one running, their is internal crisis in APC. Which I believe it'll be solved b4 the election time. Tell me the best governor in Ondo State b4 Mimiko Became governor, He modernized, dualized, Re shaped Ondo State... Good Medical facilities, dual roads, Free transportation for the secondary school/Primary students, Free Waec fees. The only thing he failed to address is Salary... (Which ever state in Nigeria failed in this aspect too) I leave you to your conscience too |

maynation: Who's this one? Was the last presidential election conducted in 2016? I am talking about the most recent electoral practices not the long gone ones.
By the way, Mimiko aided Aketi's victory because of his poor performance and how he chose not to pay workers. Then again, Jimoh Ibrahim played another part too, he he created fractions in the party not knowing he was a mole working for APC. It was late already before people found out.
This is 2020 not 2016. Governorship election is within the state which people will have to choose which sides or not and for the interest of the state. Presidential is the interest of the country. Don't use presidential election to judge governorship election. BTW, you said mimiko performance was low? How? Tell me. Who among the governor's during his time paid salaries Mimiko is still currently the best governor Ondo ever had. Now, about Jimoh Ibrahim. Truth, His role made PDP to split... With the performance of This current governor. I'm 100% sure his re election is certain except if he isn't the one running for APC... Ondo west, east and Akure. Made PDP win presidential election in Ondo State |

Structural lies are just killing the country that's why those favoured wants to sustain it. The six zones was not entirely carved out based on geographic location, but rather states with similar ethnic groups, and/or common political history were classified in the same zone. Nigeria is made up of approximately 400 ethnic groups and 450 languages. There was a need for the government to merge similar groups for effective allocation of resources. |

Christianity Etc › Why Do RCCG Failed To Recognized Pa Akindayomi Josiah by Sammy07(op): 9:09am On Jan 05, 2020 |
I was passing through Ondo metropolis few days ago. I saw the house where the Founder of RCCG lives and worshiped in a bad state.. This made me to ask a random question from RCCG members (Outside the state).
I asked them; Who is the founder of RCCG? Which state did he come from?
Some know his name and not his state. Some know his state and not his name..
This led me to the question, why did RCCG leaders failed to recognized the founder? I have not see any of his picture in RCCG calendars
For example. Building institution in his name, in his town. Building a big Medical Center in his name, in his Town.
Just as how these people keep remembering their founder and build something remarkable in remembrance of him.
CAC --- Ayo babalola CMS --- Ajayi crowther C&S -- Moses orimolade CCC -- Oshoffa
And I'm not asking you to pray in his name oo.
Majority of those that answered were talking about spirituality bla bla, Abeq, we're talking on what should be done not spiritual things..
P. S I'm only concerned as a native... Let's assume he brought a well equipped Medical Center to Ondo wouldn't that boost employment in Ondo City?
Or university?

Christianity Etc › Re: Right Of Reply: Christians Enjoy More Holidays Than Muslims In Nigeria by Sammy07: 5:22pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
Seun2019: In Nigeria, we operate Gregorian calendar which is the calendar used in most part of the world. Although the Gregorian calendar was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII, the purpose was to correct the mistake of Julius Caesar calendar which miscalculated the length of the solar year by 11 minutes, therefore making the calendar to fall out of sync with the seasons.
Though the Julian calendar included an extra day in February every four years to correct this, it was discovered that the addition of so many days made the calendar slightly too long.
Gregorian calendar devised a variation that adds leap days in years divisible by four, unless the year is also divisible by 100. If the year is also divisible by 400, a leap day is added regardless.
While this formula may sound confusing, it did resolve the lag created by Caesar’s earlier scheme- almost.
At the initial stage, many countries rejected the calendar and refused to operate it. It was however discovered later that it was the most perfect calendar of all the ones available in the world, and hence its acceptability by many nations.
Mynd44 The above is correct tho |
