The Ibos are the architect of their own problem. I could remember vividly when they were forming APC and Rochas Okorocha joined the merger, he said he wants the Ibos to join him in the party to guarantee an Ibo presidency after the north. He said it is only APC that can guarantee Ibo presidency. The Ibos refused to listen to him.
In 2019, when Osinbajo and Fashola kept campaigning that the southwest should vote for APC to guarantee a Yoruba presidency in 2023, Orji Uzor Kalu came out to beg the Ibos to listen to Fashola and Osinbajo and change the narrative in voting for APC. He also told them that they need to position themself to take over from President Buhari in 2023. Rochas Okorocha mentioned that the Ibos cannot win election without the support of the north and the southwest. While the north and the southwest can win without the support of the southeast. He told the Ibos to collaborate with the north and the south to achieve their aim. Those statements were made in 2018/2019.
2023 has come, the Ibos did nothing about playing inclusive politics and think they can win a national election.
Bola Tinubu has been working at become the president of Nigeria since 2007 when he left govt house yet he kept supporting others to become president (Atiku 2007, Jonathan 2011, Buhari 2015, Buhari 2019).
Peter Obi came to Labour Party when he realised that he may not get the Vice Presidential slot in PDP not prepared at all.
He worked on the emotion of the youths who were not happy with the Endsars issue to ride to where it is today. That does not translate to a winning vote. Obi only won where most Ibo resides. Go to Ondo state, Ekiti State, Oyo state, Osun State and majority of the northern states, obi did not have major presence there.
Majority of the youths today that are clamouring for peter obi didn't have understanding of politics and how it is played.

Prof Wole Soyinka is trying to score a cheap political goal. Obasanjo was the sitting president when Bola Ige was killed. While Omisore was in detention, he won election as a senator under the platform of PDP. Why did so called yoruba leaders not hold Obasanjo to ransom.

What concerns Buhari with this, you need to face Obasanjo who knew exactly what happened to that case.

Moreso, Omisore was never convicted of the crime, he has right to become even the president of this nation if voted for.

Omisore was presented by five southwest by governors of APC. Why can't you hold them accountable.

Making N1.5m every month means you are a big man. If you know what you are doing, you are better off here than over there. In the midst of the insecurity you are making N1.5m monthly, when there is no insecurity, you can make more. Your future is bright here than there.

Ahmed Lawan is saying the truth. The Governors are major problem of this country. They destroyed the Local government system and every attempt by the current government to revive it met with strong opposition from them. The National Assembly had passed local govt autonomy bill which requires the assent of all the state house of assembly. As at the last count, only nineteen states had passed the law for years now. Who are the Governors deceiveing.
The problem we are facing today has it's root in the destruction of local govt system because if it is functioning the problem will not take this dimension.
Some of this Governors are richer than the FGN.
Let the restructuring starts from the states by returning the autonomy of local govt.
They all sacrificed local govt because of 2003 elections and now it's difficult to correct the wrongs.

There is a national curfew from 12 midnight to 4am. It was well announced. What is he protesting for at that time. He could have done his protest during the day time. The Police is not at fault for arresting him.

My engagement with some of the youths today shows they do not know what they realy want. Yes, we all know that a lot of things need change but it has to be done on the table of negotiations. Your voice has been heard and govt has responded to most of you demands even more than you requested. Yet, you still continue demonstrations. The Govt is asking you to send representative for dialogue, you refused. The Govt declared curfew, you refused to obey and go about burning police stations and destroying public properties. There is no responsible govt that will fold his hands and watch.

This is uncalled for. The FGN will be justified to deploy soldiers to all the states. I believe the protest has achieved its desired target but it's been turned into another thing. I think the protests has been hijacked.

An American will always defend his country. Lets stand up for Nigeria and be counted as patriotic. The world was expecting Nigeria to explode but God will never abadon us.

I dont know why we are always negative minded. You cant begin to compare other African countries with Nigeria on what basis. The challenges of each country differs. USA is one of the most powerful country in the world but has the highest casualties. At the initial stage, it could not do massive testing. Lets appreciate the effort of our leaders. This is a problem facing the entire world at the same time, we need to encourage our leaders by been positive minded. Can anybody explain why we have very low casualty. United Nation came out openly to appreciate the effort of our govt why cant we Nigerians do the same

I don't know what is wrong with PDP. All we wanted from the president was a direction and a detailed plan on how the govt intend to control the disease from spreading. The president had given direction and detailed plan. If PDP likes let them go and die. We don't care. This is a trying time for the country and it calls for sober reflection not a time to play politics.

Nigerian youths are too lazy to find out information which is power. Don't just attack people in leadership that are more equip with the right information about the happening in govt circle than you that is just reading junk news. Mr Femi Adeshina is an honourable man who speaks the truth at every point in time. You may not like him, but you cant ignore him.

We can channel our energy to block the ministries and departments of govt including ministers from stealing our common wealth by going through the website. Most of the ministries do nothing rather than to collect salaries and come up with frivolous expenses to spend money. The launch of the website will curb this. Mr Femi Adesina is right with the statement. On corruption issue, the federal government has open a website for all the agencies of government to publish their actual monthly expenses and the budgeted amount.
