I've looked beyond the simping charges against him to really see him for who he is

He is not a bad person. There is no meanness in him. He is not playing a hurtful game

I don't know why he says some of the things he says but they don't even come out sounding like he is bragging,

I like him honestly

I feel compassionate towards him and I am not even sure why

If he was introduced to football training camps when he was young and his uni is in a footballing town, it is easier to get into football but you have to be exceptional to be noticed by the premium or top leagues. I don’t think he is at the level he portrays himself to be.
