Indications are rife that former Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam may be scared of recent moves to probe his administration by governor Ortom. Per Second News gathered that Suswam was seen last night at the Peoples House.



According to state government sources he met with his successor Dr. Samuel Ortom at the Presidential Lodge of the Benue Peoples House, in Makurdi.

The former Governor was in company of Catholic Bishop of Katsina-Ala Diocese, Bishop Peter Adoboh, and chairman Ashitech conglomerate, Dr. Terkula Suswam.

Details of the meeting are sketchy but sources say it is not unconnected with the various panels set up by Governor Ortom to probe his predecessors administration. However, the Governor’s media aid, Mr Tahav Agerzua said the current and former governors met for several hours to discuss state matters.

It was their first meeting since the inauguration of Governor Ortom which the former Governor didn’t attend.
