Nice one!!!
sammy042:
1.They may take emotional, moral, physical or financial advantages of you in a daily life because you are being nice and do not have the heart to say NO.
2.They will start taking you for granted thinking "oh he's too nice,he won't say anything.Mr nice guy.
3.You may always be the one to bow down out of arguments simply because you habituated to being nice.
4.They will soon start finding you boring.
5.if you are just too nice to your partner all the time, you may find yourself doing all the work..
6.Being too nice may make you the victim of practical jokes because you will not be expected to retaliate.
7.You stop being yourself.
8.you will start living according to their expectation.friend-zone.
9.you rarely say no to request.mugu, maga etc
10.95 percent of nigerian ladies don't date mr nice guy.

Excess of anything is too bad,it's good to be nice but not uber-nice...i don't knw how true this statement is"Nice guy finish last"....be Real

And what makes him a traitor? is it because he decided to follow his own ambition against GEJ ambition. I am not a fan of Amaechi either because during the fuel subsidy saga he supported our corrupt insensitive FG against the will of the people. God will judge them all at the appointed time. However let the man follow his own ambition pleasssssssse!

Politics › Re: Boko Haram: America Is not Nigeria's friend - Gowon by sammyj: 1:58pm On Nov 30, 2014
And what happen or stops the DSS from gathering intel to stop BH activities, why depend on the CIA to make this happen? We always leave in self denial and expect America to assist us use his own resources to combat the monster we created with our corrupt incompetent Government lapses. Shame to the Government of Nigeria for not doing the needful and waiting for America to help us!!!! Gos bless and help us
cap28:
By the way why would the US govt sell us arms to combat an organisation that they created?
Isnt there something strange about the fact that the US has all these troops on the African continent and STILL they cant locate Shekau's whereabouts.
Compare that with how quickly the CIA in conjunction with MOSSAD were able to track and capture Nelson Mandela.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram: America Is not Nigeria's friend - Gowon by sammyj: 11:32am On Nov 30, 2014
I support you on this because if this weapons are sold to the Nigerian FG they can use it against their political opponent during and after election. Yes BH can be eliminated with foot soldiers fully equipped and not with mini weapon of mass destruction that cannot be controlled by our incompetent government!!!!
WilyWily:
Dis is great from USA, they should not allow Nigeria government to obtain Arms from any source.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram: America Is not Nigeria's friend - Gowon by sammyj: 11:22am On Nov 30, 2014
Do you think America will assist a nation full of corruption and in-balance economy

Sometimes it beat my imagination the reason for Americans hard handedness with issue concerning Nigerians, I remembeer when the same America refused Nigeria's plea for the Ebola. Experimental drug siting flimpsy excuses only to send it to Liberia a fellow African Country, guess they are not happy for our near outright independence
Politics › Re: I Regret Not Having A Yoruba As Speaker. Jonathan by sammyj: 7:30pm On Nov 29, 2014
And what happened during the peaceful fuel subsidy protest? Was military not used to harass people by the same GEJ Deceiving People's Government (GDPG)
Truckpusher:
Thank God for Jonathan then.
Past Nigerian leaders wouldn't hesitate in using the military and police to extinguish these peaceful protesters and blame it on thuggery and oppositions but like the gentleman that he is ,he was cool, calm and collected taking all the insults face to face. That is the mark of a true leader despite all the setbacks caused by some disgruntled politicians to paint him as a weak and incompetent leader.

We have seen on several occasions in this country how Presidents and Governors ordered the massacre of protesting students across the country ,but this man with a humble beginning refused to soil his name in blood even as disgruntled politicians continue to spread carnage across the country.
May I also remind you that two days ago there was a protest by Ogoni youths in PHC over Amaechi's choice of Governorship aspirant for the APC ,they got more than what they bargained for even as two of the protesters laid down dead, no thanks to Amaechi's highhandedness and this same man that was rejected by the PDP was considered a ''progressive'' by the APC.

You can do the math by yourself.

Importation and sales of electronics, mechanical parts, cars, goods in general, igbos are at the heart of it. Even retail drug sales (chemists) and supermarkets, they are thr.
For a country whose manufacturing industry is very weak, even the little we have is dominated by Igbos.

Since he his focusing his state resources on the future generation. God bless you, ride on Governor Ameachi. With this information Gov. Ameachi deserves to run as the presidential candidate in any party come 2015.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Asks Governors To Sign Death Warrants Of Condemned Criminals by sammyj: 11:39am On Jun 17, 2013
wirinet: And where did you get the statistics that it is condemned prisoners that is causing overcrowding in our prisons? How many condemned prisoners who had gone through the legal process up to the supreme court do we have in Nigeria?

Some of you people are just bloodthirsty, you rejoice at the spilling of blood.

Now what should constitute a capital offense? A man that kills one person while robbing a car worth N3 million, or a man that cause the death of thousands through stealing of public money ( and pension money)?

In Nigeria our perception of what is wrong or right is truly screwed.
Thank you my brother, the awaiting trials inmates (ATP's)constitutes more than 80% of the Nigerian prisons, which means they are the cause of the overcrowding also caused by the setbacks in the justice system. The Nigeria government, especially the Federal should be hold responsible for this action.
I rest my case.

Nonsense...

All our industries are operating below installed capacities or are even closing and moving to other west African states because of lack of meaningful power presence and generation so how exactly are we going to achieve that robust economic environment without electricity? By building a shipyard? Even shipyard?

Is the shipyard itself not going to be relegated to the same below capacity future like our closing and moving industries in the absence of stable power?

lol @ power output have doubled? This clown must think I'm a clueless dullard like him or some foreigner with zero knowledge about Nigeria.

PHIPEX: I like Fashola but at times he sounds like a regular politician. I passed through the State Secretariat this morning and saw several staff buses but one question that ran through my mind was how come a Gov that wants improvements in Nigeria Auto-mobile Industry couldn't afford to buy A SINGLE LOCALLY MADE STAFF BUS when private firms do that? What better support and advert will these firms employ than for Govts and its agencies to patronise them even if it's just one or two buses?
If he establishes this Manufacturing/assembling plants will it only be patronised by the state govt?
If he expects other State govts or private individuals to patronise it what stops him from patronising the existing local makers of automobile?
I wonder how economically viable it will be to establish a manufacturing plants just for Lagos BRT considering that plenty of the current BRT buses are owned by private companies, will he force them to patronise it?

Am afraid, what goes around could come around here.
Get your fact right, for your information BRT is not owned by private COY, BRT bus is owned by Lagos state govt. managed by the private COY. Fashola is working. !
