Dear Comrades, As the struggle to save Nigerian University system is being pursued, I'll like to salute all our members for their resoluteness in ensuring that the 2009 ASUU/Government Agreement is implemented in accordance with the Roadmap defined by the 2012 MoU. We believe very strongly that the rot and decay in the University System is not only arrestable but also reversible. We believe even more strongly that, the key to turning round the University System lies in the sincere implementation of the Agreement.
What government has so far been doing is no more than a repeat performance of a one-act-play: all the deceptions, propaganda, lies, mischiefs and such other Shenanigans were tried by previous Governments, including Military Juntas, but our resolve to save the University System and our Country remained unwaivered. We will continue to carry the banner of this struggle to its logical conclusion. Lerin: From the west-Ekiti state,infact it really brought serious problem in my marriage,when I gave birth to my second child-a boy,my MIL refuse to go with me for his circumcision refering to my daughter's case,infact she refuse to take care of me or the baby,her daughter staying with me got admission as I gave birth,immediately she left for school,my MIL told me I should prepare myself to do the cooking as she does not know how to make pap and other foods for me to eat,this was barely a wk after I put to bed,I used to sleep 1am-2am where am tydying up the house and wake up 6am so I can get breakfast ready on time for her to eat,the day I was so weak to cook,there was bread in d house,my MIL left d house after bathing d baby in d morning to their village pple house around my area,came back 9pm,told me if I have settled myself cos she has eaten b4 coming back,hubby was not around,when he came back I revoked and out of annoyance told him if his mother want me dead,my dear this caused serious war.that was Jan.2011,after that I apologised,called my family members,pastors and church members to beg. Went to d village in March 2013,stayed in her house,ate her food,it is just of recent that I know she still harbours anger in her,told her younger brother that she is covinced I use charm for her son,that after insulting her,he still keeps me in d house. The truth is that I found out she and her siblings her in control of their children's marriage and since I refused that in my own home I became the bad wife,and she has warned her son not to marry an abeokuta woman.I told myself my marriage has come to stay.

However, in view of the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations, lectures will resume with effect from Monday, 6th January, 2014.

All students are, therefore, requested to be in residence from 5th January, 2014.

Nairaland of this days is turning into another tin..i remember going tru a tread dat was created in 2006 when seun was d only moderator,see how they were talkin to one a other with respect and even praying for each oda...it wasn't like d kind of nairaland of this days where a 16 year old boy will call a woman a 30's a b*tch or a teenage girl callin a married man an idiot....we need to respct one another eventhough we can't see each oda..'ve gotten help from people i met on this forum in countless times...so launching a CYBERWAR or abusing someone online jx b'cos they cn't see u doesn't make sense......or wot do u tink?

Please,how true is this? I heard futa has pulled out of ASUU strike...pls if this is true when will lecturers and students resume.. Pls. Share what u know..

Guyz pls i need ya help...how much for hostel insde skul and how much for house outside...in ur own opinion whch do u tink is beta??
