Sports / AC MILAN 0- 2 Chelsea. (match Report) by samobaba(m): 5:52am On Aug 05, 2013
Jose Mourinho will reacquaint himself with his former colleagues after goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Andre Schurrle edged thePremier League side to victory.
Chelsea will meet Real Madrid in the final of International Champions Cup after a 2-0 win over AC Milan at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. Kevin De Bruyne gave Chelsea a deserved lead in the first half before summer signing Andre Schurrle finished Milan off with a stunning volley in second- half additional time. Milan shaded the possession in the opening half but Chelsea, with De Bruyne, Eden Hazard and Oscar at
the forefront, hit the Italians consistently on the counter, creating several dangerous attacks.
Chelsea made seven changes at half-time and while Milan enjoyed large amounts possession in attacking areas, Jose Mourinho's men defended valiantly and
prevented the Italians from getting back into the game.
An unlikely source nearly secured Chelsea an early lead with Branislav Ivanovic back-heeling De Bruyne's cross into the body of Milan keeper Christian Abbiati
before flashing a header wide from Oscar's free-kick.
Milan created their first chance after 14 minutes as the skilful Stephan El Shaarawy split the Chelsea defence but Kevin Prince-Boateng could only cut
inside and fire into the stands.
With Mario Balotelli ineffective and frustrated at the point of attack, El Shaarawy ran the show and his
delightful chip into the area was well controlled by Sulley Muntari, whose poke towards goal was parried by Petr Cech and cleared by Ivanovic.
Mourinho's side absorbed the Milan possession and then sprung counter-attacks with a Belgian
combination securing the opener as Hazard slipped through De Bruyne, who easily sent Abbiati the wrong way in the 29th minute. Milan looked much more dangerous in the second half after the introduction of M'Baye Niang and if it
was not for desperate defending, the Frenchman could have found the equaliser on several occasions.
Substitute Victor Moses was lively for Chelsea in the second half but continued to waste opportunities when he found himself with space on the right before
redeeming himself in the latter stages.
As the players tired, the game became end-to-end with Fernando Torres getting on the end of a number of passes in dangerous areas but either failed to get a
shot on target or mis-placed the pass to a team-mate in a scoring position.
Schuerrle, who came on in the 69th minute, missed two golden chances before his sweet volley from
Moses' cross sealed the contest.
With Chelsea moving to the final to meet Real Madrid at the Sun Life Stadium on Wednesday, Milan will front up in the match before against the Los Angeles Galaxy to decide who finishes third in
the tournament.

Sports / Drogba Double Sink Arsenal (arsenal 1-2 Galatasary) by samobaba(m): 5:36am On Aug 05, 2013
The Ivorian won and scored a penalty before turning Per Mertesacker inside out for a dramatic and superb late winner, cancelling out Theo Walcott's opener and
ultimately crowning Fatih Terim's side winners of an entertaining two day's football in north London.
The Gunners lacked the intensity they showed against Napoli in the opening stages but were up against a blunt Gala attack, shorn of its two most potent
weapons in Drogba and Wesley Sneijder, who were benched.
Instead the pair watched as Yaya Sanogo, thus far Arsene Wenger’s only signing this summer, went close to opening the scoring inside the first minute as Felipe Melo conceded possession just in front of his box.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain released Sanogo and although he danced past Semih Kaya, Fernando Muslera was on hand to make a low stop.
A probing run from Aaron Ramsey - a constant theme in the first 45 minutes - asked a question of referee Jon Moss as Engin Baytar came across to
dispossess the Welshman, but the challenge was deemed fair.
Whereas the 2-2 draw with Napoli had an emphasis on Arsenal’s familiar pass and move around the box, the first half of Sunday's match saw an emphasis on
direct running at the Gala backline.
But it was Ramsey’s excellent 30-yard pass that released Theo Walcott in behind Albert Riera, though his deft flick over Muslera slid inches wide of the near post.
The threat was there though, and although a near 20 minute lull ensued, Arsenal broke the deadlock in the
39th minute. After a low cross almost squeezed through to Sanogo, the resulting corner allowed
Walcott the room to swing a cross from the left into the six-yard box. Melo missed his interception, leaving Muslera stranded, sprawling hopelessly after
a ball destined for his far corner.
After the break, Terim’s team continued to look susceptible to balls over the defence and yet another, this time from Mikel Arteta, had Emmanuel Eboue
chasing after Oxlade-Chamberlain. The midfielder, though, could only draw a sharp low stop from Muslera as he nudged the ball across the six-yard box.
Gunners’ first major chance of the second period as he spun and fired a low drive at Muslera. Mertesacker drew the Uruguayan goalkeeper into a smart save to his right before Sneijder - on at half-
time with Drogba - gave the Gunners a reminder that their one-goal lead was far from secure with a stinging 25-yard drive that required Szczesny to parry away.
With 12 minutes remaining, Drogba won himself a penalty - the emphasis very much on ‘won’ - as he collapsed under the merest of touches from substitute
Ignasi Miquel. The 35-year-old took his time over the spot-kick before placing the ball low to his right and past Szczesny.
Terim’s side were buoyed by the late strike and Nordin Amrabat went close with six minutes to go,
volleying over from 12 yards on the turn, but the greatest drama was saved for the final five minutes. Sneijder became increasingly influential in the second 45 and it was his precise daisycutter across
the box that found Drogba alone with Mertesacker. The Ivorian’s first touch was sublime, cutting inside his German marker, before slamming a left-footed
shot past Szczesny from 10 yards.

Religion / Exposed! Redeemed Pastor Adeboye In N20b Fraud! by samobaba(m): 7:35pm On Apr 19, 2013
Nigeria is one liberally sentimental society where what you write or say about religious idols are quick to be termed as blasphemy but truth be told, Nigerians are being taken for granted and it`s high time we take our destiny in our hands by making our leaders answerable to some of the financial calamities the country has been plunged into over the years.
By estimation, according to international analysts, Nigeria is meant to be one of the most prosperous nations in the world owing to its staggering production of about 2.4 million barrels of oil everyday and with the price of oil pegged at $93.61 a barrel, our dear country earns a whopping $224 million income a day, and this is just from crude oil sales. With its geopolitical power and economic resources, I doubt if any country would have the power and financial might to change the course of black/African civilization like Nigeria had our leaders not corrupt. Nigerian citizens are probably the worst treated in the world with the recent research saying it`s the worst place for any baby to be born especially this year, 2013. Where are all these monies? Before we serve you this story, please check Ezekiel 8:12, He said to me, “Son of a man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in darkness, each at the shrine of his own idols? They say, “The Lord does not see us; the Lord has forsaken the land.”
It is an unbelievable story of the revered man of God, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye who`s alleged to be involved in a dirty import duty deals, and this are obviously not one of those framed up stories, there are verifiable facts and figures, the man who`s fondly referred to as Daddy G.O by obsessed Redeemed Church patrons worldwide is in a centre of a serious controversy. Daddy G.O is being alleged to have connections with the CIA and not just that, he`s said to have evaded import duty severally to the extent that, he has cheated and cause the country over N20 billion loss in revenue generation. Below is a text of what an international broadcast journalist and erstwhile editor of Yahoo Canada got after a thorough undercover investigation. It is as mind boggling as anybody could think.
“Enoch Adejare Adeboboye is a Nigerian pastor and General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, but he`s also a CIA agent. His church in the Silver Spring area of Maryland, USA has been infiltrated by the CIA, America’s SSS called the Central Intelligence Agency. A major number of prominent US-based Nigerians are in the church and if they dare me, I will mention their names ONE by ONE. I have played undercover in the church for some time. You see, Adeboye’s congregation there is led by one pastor Ghandi Olaoye, a greedy pastor leading Hesus House, DC, who claims his church’s praise is high, the worship is intense and the word is uncompromising. He is currently the coordinator in charge of convention and special projects for RCCG.
Recently, some prominent US based Doctors/LOUD mouth Nigerians opened their mouth at president Jonathan’s government demanding who the Senators funding Boko Haram are? They were so loud and insulting that they should have stood in the middle of Maiduguri or Kaduna to make those claims. These brainwashed MORONS once gave Ghandi a brand new Mercedes Benz for his 50th birthday, he spent their money lavishly on his party and ultimately, he’ll poison them like Jim Jones when they are all done in his CULT. They are using your money for funding parties, cars and more.
Adeboye was linked to a scandalous import duty waiver said to have cost Nigeria a whooping N20 Billion in revenue loss between 2006 and 2007. The deal was facilitated by Ghandi. All their lavish stealing and spending, now the CIA is in there with them. What they don’t know is that they can use this to ruin the rest of Nigeria and their congregation brainwashed here. I saw the 2006, RCCG import waiver of N9, 831, 109, 309. 00 through certificate no., BO/REV/12235/S.2/T.133 to import construction materials; generators and vehicles. The value of the imports was N49, 155, 546, 846. 00. In 2007, another import waiver was granted.
This time through a certificate number BO/R10260/V111/161, RCCG was granted rights to import building/construction materials with value put at N48, 988, 454, 876. 00 with a total waiver of N9, 757, 690, 975. 20. The two waivers total N19, 588, 800, 284.20, while the bulk transactions amount to N98,144,347,130.20. Also 300 luxury cars with value put at $6,923,000, 100 Jeeps (SUV) valued at $8,000,000, Video Equipment valued at $12,000,000.00, were all part of the shady import deals. Adeboye and Ghandi may have escaped jail term this time but that does not prevent me from RIPPING his stealing for you.
The CIA is watching. They may be working for them. Look at you, you broke ass poor calling a thief your MAN OF GOD! He is the Man of the DEVIL!”.
REPENT! Adeb-OLE!
REPENT Ghandi Ola-OLE!
Enuff!

If its a school cult, go to the most powerful campus fellowship and denounce your membership, give your life to Christ genuinely and take part in most church activities. Join groups in the church like prayer warrior band. They will leave you alone, and never engage in any of the vices you are used to in the past. They will run from you and leave you alone. Probably the oddest scenario ever seen in the decade that the
transfer window has been in place. The Nigerian had been unhappy
at West Brom for much of January, with a move to QPR thought to
be of great interest to him.
With time running out on deadline day, Odemwingie took it upon
himself to turn up unannounced at Loftus Road in an attempt to
force a move to the Hoops through , despite no deal being agreed
between the clubs, with QPR officials having to ask the striker to
leave the premises to avoid legal action.
Harry Redknapp had held an interest in bringing the player into his
squad, but lamented "crossed wires" for the deal not being able to
be done, although he did manage to sign three players on
Thursday.
Odemwingie could now be in big trouble at the Hawthorns, with a
club statement claiming: "Peter has acted wholly unprofessionally.
He must now accept the fact he remains under contract for a further
18 months and has to focus on his Albion commitments."

Winning the Champions League in May was still not enough for
Roberto Di Matteo to be considered the cast-iron choice for the job of
Chelsea manager but, after some deliberation, Roman Abramovich
has given the Italian his full backing.
The Blues have officially appointed the Italian on a two-year contract
in a fully-deserved move after he turned the club’s fortunes around so
dramatically after the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas, and Pep Guardiola
initially being groomed as the long-term successor.

That Champions League glory would have been enough for the Italian
to name his terms at any other club. Chelsea, though, still pondered
their options for weeks after that success and, as Goal.com revealed,
tried to sound out Guardiola.
Then, it appeared Di Matteo would indeed get the role, but only on a
one-year deal - a move that would hardly have been a clear message
of support for the club icon, who also enjoyed a successful playing
career at Stamford Bridge.
Guardiola was the man Abramovich wanted and he was prepared to
appoint Di Matteo for a year just to keep the seat warm for the
Catalan to replace him in 2013.
But the former Stamford Bridge player has now rightly usurped the
former Barcelona coach by achieving the ‘Holy Grail’ that was the
Russian’s dream by guiding them to the Champions League.
It would have sent out the wrong message for football if, after
achieving such success, Di Matteo had missed out on the job
altogether or only been given a short-term contract.
For some, the ex-West Brom boss was a surprise choice even as the
interim manager after the club’s investment in Villas-Boas went
disastrously wrong and resulted in the end of his reign in early March.
However, Di Matteo showed a level of temperament that defies his
lack of top-level experience and short coaching career to date, uniting
a fragmented dressing room and reverting back to the tactics that
have proved successful for Chelsea in the past.
While he could not reverse their slide out of the top four places in the
Premier League, he masterminded their FA Cup success and
amazingly led the club to European glory, beating Napoli, Benfica,
Barcelona and Bayern Munich in a European run that will never be
forgotten.
Chelsea had been written off as an
aging side who were in need of
urgent surgery, but Di Matteo’s faith
in the club’s old guard proved to be
a masterstroke as Frank Lampard,
Didier Drogba & Co. secured his own
place in footballing folklore.
The manager has earned the right
to be the man who will shape
Chelsea’s immediate future and
make-up of the playing squad as
they try to achieve further European
success while re-establishing
themselves in the upper echelons of
the Premier League.
After being appointed, a thrilled Di
Matteo said: “I'm obviously
delighted to have been appointed as
manager.
“We all achieved incredible success
last season that made history for this great club. Our aim is to
continue building on that and I'm already planning and looking
forward to the squad's return for pre-season."
With Eden Hazard and Marko Marin already signed and Hulk
reportedly set to follow, these are very exciting times for Chelsea
supporters and Di Matteo will be the man leading the club in what
they hope will be the first stages of a successful dynasty.
It is now up to him to prove his early success was not just a flash in
the pan and kick-start a new era at the club, carefully re-shaping the
playing squad so they can remain on top for many years to come.
It is a chance he fully deserves and judging from his performance so
far, you would not bet against him achieving just that and winning
more silverware under the title of permanent manager.

We try our best to answer their questions, and teach them what they need to know… but when my 3yr old started asking to see some things I knew he could not see…Eg asking me with the most bewildered look on his face — “How do you pee, Mummy? Can I see your bum-bum?” I knew I had to draw the line somewhere! lol!

I am built differently from you, I explained to him. And don’t worry, I can still pee comfortably, even though I’m different. But sorry, you can’t see my bum because it’s private. Ok? “Ok Mummy”, he replied. But the next time he used the potty and I went in to wipe his bum, he asked – “Is my bum-bum private too Mummy?” Yes sweetie, I replied. “So how come you can look at my bum-bum if it’s private?” Oh boy…lol.

I explained to him that grownups’ bum-bums are private . But for kids, it’s a little different. Yes, your bum is private, I told him. But it’s ok for family members to see your bum-bum sometimes, like when they are helping you clean up or dress up.
“Ooh, I get it!” he said excitedly. He then started listing all the people who could see his bum and those who could not: “Daddy can see it. Mummy can see it. Grandma can see it….” and I’d reply with a nod and a little Hmm-hmm as he chatted and giggled away.

And then all of a sudden, his tone changed – it suddenly hit him. He tried looking at his own behind and of course, no matter how hard he tried, he found it impossible to see his own bum-bum.

“Oh no Mummy! I can’t see my bum-bum”!!!

You can just imagine how hard I laughed that day. Yep, we can see other people’s bum-bums very clearly but we can’t see ours!smiley!. And the people closest to us, our loved ones, can see our bums. But we can’t really see ours… except we use a mirror .

What this incident immediately brought to mind was this reminder – Ok I live my life, praying and trusting to grow and become a much better person everyday – with God’s help and by His grace. But I too, have a bum, and I can’t see it except I use a mirror! The ultimate mirror to me is my relationship with God, studying the scriptures, communicating with God regularly, learning, un-learning, re-learning…

There are certain things I would be completely and totally unaware of, that I would not really be able to see, if I had not activated my relationship with God, and taken the time to study His word and get to know Him better every day (it’s certainly an ongoing processsmiley!). And I firmly believe that the people God has placed in our lives, particularly the ones closest to us – also serve as mirrors, to help see our “bums” when we are so often unable to see (or smell )!

So I am reminded to embrace and be thankful for the “mirrors” in my life, my friends and loved ones that will take the time to lovingly bring it to my attention if I am releasing some not-so-pretty gases from my bum – even though a loving correction might sometimes be a little hard to swallow . I am reminded of how blessed we are to have God as our father and as our ultimate mirror, and how blessed we are for all the wonderful people He has placed, and continues to place, in our lives. You know, especially those ones who continue to love us so wholeheartedly even after they’ve seen and smelled a whole LOT!smiley!
