the Tiv and Igede have always been bitter rivals that's why the Igedes hardly inter marry with them (it's even a Taboo). The Tivs as recent as last year had a land dispute with the Idomas at Adoka. The Tivs encroached into Idoma land at Opa - Adoka resulting in a communal clash. Though the Idoma and Igede have enjoyed relative peace with each other, they had a skirmish in the border communities between Otukpo and Oju as a result of Electricity black out.

Hmmmm, I don't want to cast aspersions or anything as such, but to be frank, There's no tribe that shares boundary with the Tivs that they've not fought with. They've fought with the Junkuns, Kuteb in Taraba, the Alagos and Eggon in Nasarawa, the Idomas and Igede in Benue, as well as with the Obudu people in Cross river. The common denominator is always land dispute.

I have seen where a guy with JAMB score of less than 180 was given Medicine and surgery admission at ABU - Zaria. Are u aware that a Candidate from say Anambra or Enugu has a cut off mark of 130 to gain admission into unity schools ( Federal government colleges) while a candidate from kebbi or katsina requires just 4 marks for the same thing? Funny enough, the Israeli Air defence systems: Iron dome, David sling and their Patriot missile system neutralized most of the threats. Those drones had a top speed of 185Km/hr and will take 2 hours to reach it's target because they were launched from Iran. To me, the Iranians are not serious about this attack. I think it's just a propaganda move just to save face and show their people that at least they're responding to Israel's aggression. If they were serious, the should have used hypersonic missiles from her allies ( Russia and China) to even the scores that would have sent a strong message.
