Dumbo, you're repeating the same thing we told you. Kenya and zoo can't be on the same page.
Why is Nigeria a zoo?
1. World's biggest open defecation Center. 2. A country with the largest number of people living below the poverty line - poverty capital. 3. A country with the largest floating slum in the world - one of the most terrible. 4. Boko harram ridden - a country that can't defeat boko by itself. 5. Slum integrated city, looking more of a zoo than a city - no sense of planning. 6. finally, HDI nails it. Your zoo is struggling with the likes of niger and Somalia.
A failed country, with dozen of minerals.
You are wasting your time. Kenya is a zoo and you are really fumbling to defend the zoo. I call it kenzoology.
kikuyu1: I don't blame you: I CAN'T! Its your culture, encoded in your DNA to throw feces at people,on the walls, clap your hands as loud as possible and lick your fingers clean.
obaaderemi: It's funny. Do you not see that every other Kenyan has since kept quiet.
They are aware of it and gave accept their fate, the rvp dude is angry and bitter that you brought such salient revelation to limelight d he his failing haphazardly to defend this defenseless fact. It’s funny to watch I must say. I love to see it.
mtisQ: I don't think you meant it, bro. It seems like you're just being emotional. It's the same as when Sammy refers to other countries as zoos. Look at any best rating in Africa, and Kenya will always be there
Kenya is a zoo,no doubt about that. Keep fighting a lost battle.
Mkenya2019: As Nigeria the Zoo alternate btw Almajiri (School of begging) and Boko haram (No school going) - Kenya is far ahead.
The only country that in near future will compete with Kenya is Rwanda - they are doing well though french-english language switch is confusing the kids and the teachers.
We already electrified all primary schools, delivered 1.2 million tablets, each school has two laptops, internet modems, and display systems. Each secondary schools has computer labs and some even have fiber connection.
When it comes to CBC - all teachers are being re-trained - in universities so they understand what CBC really is about - learner (Not a teacher) led learning process.
You have lost your way my son. Your task was to provide us proof on your govt had taken deliberate action to skyrocket the rampant mass failure in your zoo.
And pls looking at this picture, there is absolutely nothing world class about this. Forget that you in their hands ,they might as well be tutored under a tree.
Mkenya2019: Nigeria and Education The entire North Nigeria run on Almajiri System of Education.
Almajiri system of education being a traditional and non-formal system of education which derived its curriculum from the Holy Qu'ran and subjects its learners or pupils to roam about the streets begging for alms, food, and render menial labour to the teachers known as Mallams as a means of survival, is found majorly in NIGERIA
You can never tell Kenya anything. We already had the best education system in Africa - and we just shifted GEARS.
We are implementing world class education systems that has transformed Singapores, Chinas, Finlands and the Germans into world leaders.
Lmao you are really fumbling with words.your emotions are all over the place.almajiri is not your problem. They aren’t the one making a mockery of your so called quality education that constantly produces nationwide mass failure. Can you see you are taking the wrong route,I advice you redirect your steps.
obaaderemi: You are having a hard time here not fun.
I can see how many haphazard and desperate posts you've fired off since yesterday when I uncovered the rot in your educational sector. Other little Indians have since run away.
.
Lmao he been angry with you ever since. That was the last stroke that broke the camels back. It’s refresh to see him loose his cool after your revelation
obaaderemi: The nurses that couldn't pass an ordinary literacy test were also deliberately failed. 90% of your students fail routinely year after year and a lunatic put it down to deliberate government plans.
Maybe another little Indian has to take over from this silly tit. He has lost it. Who wouldn't with all the pummeling left and right. And constant sleeplessness trying to defend a backward nation?
obaaderemi: I can't believe a grown ass man can be so daft. He's cornered and he is fighting tooth and nail shamelessly, even in the face of cold hard facts. He has just proven that Kenyans are 'olodos'. These East Africans are far behind educationally.
He is not worth anybody's time here.
@bolded it’s embarrassing to watch even for him. And yes he really isn’t worth anyone’s time.
Mkenya2019: Kenya is not a zoo that is on auto-pilot. We take tough decisions and constantly reform our institutions.
Although we already have very good education -by african standards - we are not satisfied. In 2014 we started building TVET colleges - and by 2015 - we were ready to fix the education systems - that had become university focused with 80 percent of graduates in liberal arts and humanities - while job market could only absorb 10 percent at best annually.
How did we switch the country - we have done it by making secondary exams very tough for those wishing to join universities - leaving them no option except go to vocational and technical colleges. Apart from nearly 3,000 TVET colleges that existed - we are about done building 300 of them - each in every constituency - that can enroll 1,500 to 2,000 kids.
Nearly all kenyan universities are now in the red now- the student population has dried up - and they have to make painful re-adjustment but TVET is booming.
The future that we are showing you is an holistic basic education system that shifts away from exams toward identifying the competence of the kids- with many of them guided to vocational training - as early as possible - and very few going to universities hopefully to pursue STEM courses.
This is how to train your workforce for industrialization - not to become another Nigeria or India or Philippines - who train labour force for export market at best - and at worse condemn millions to futile search for white collar jobs that simply do not exist.
And unlike South Africa who changed their education to CBC - and failed 12yrs later as their lazy teachers revolted due to amount of work needed - Kenya has solid foundation.
https://medium.com/edwell/how-kenya-became-the-strongest-education-system-in-africa-70cdc72024c4 2017, the World Economic Forum rated Kenya’s education system as the strongest on the African continent. In 2018, the World Bank ranked Kenya the top African country for education outcomes (1st out of 43 mainland countries). In 2019, a Kenyan was named the most outstanding teacher in the world and awarded a prestigious $1 million prize.
A 2017 report said that “South African Grade 6 schoolchildren [were] on average about a year’s learning behind Kenya”. This was according to results from the 2011 Southern and Eastern Africa Consortium for Monitoring Educational Quality (SACMEQ) assessment.
You are still explaining your silly ideas to me. Just in case you have forgotten,I asked you to provide proof that your govt has a hand in the mass failure in your zoo. Again so much for quality education.
Mkenya2019: When we did rote learning - we were a top of Africa. So we reformed because we wanted to - not because we had to. It's more work - and poor South Africa who were already doing badly in old system gave up and went back to old ways. KENYA WILL SUCEED.
We adopted CBC because it works - and is the future
Competency-based learning or competency-based education is a framework for teaching and assessment of learning. It is also described as a type of education based on predetermined "competencies," which focuses on outcomes and real-world performance.[1] Competency-based learning is sometimes presented as an alternative to traditional methods of assessment in education.[2]
Many countries such as Finland, Germany, South Africa, the Netherlands and Norway have developed their own competency framework which acknowledges the needs of the local populace for the training programmes within the context of their competency definitions.
Don’t be silly,no one asked you to lecture me on CBC. You were asked to provide peoof on how your gotv has a hand in the mass failure of student nationwide. So much for quality education I must say.
Mkenya2019: Short answer. An A in Chemistry is not same as A in Religious Education. It called exam moderation. Someone has to pass. Someone has to fail. The exam has to be moderated to ensure there is fairness...if the exam was hard...the grades will be re-adjusted to reflect the normal distribution curve of exams. If everyone got below 20 marks out of 100 marks...19 marks will become an A...and 1 mark an E.
As for your challenge - what hell do you think we did in 10,000 thread and now this 700 pages.
You're a crazy obtuse imbecill.e
Stfu, you only get to fail if you answer incorrectly. No one fails you except you fail urself by not studying hard. Simple
You are definitely out of your mind. For starters your video didn’t prove your govt had a thing to with your mass . I am not here to entertain your conspiracy theories and false pretense. Secondly, let just pretend for a minute that what you are saying is true. Is this really what they are trained to do. What exactly does this nonsense prepare them for? I am sorry but this doesn’t prepare fir the Labour market but rather sorcery and witchcraft.
Mkenya2019: Talking of exams actually in the next 6yrs there will be no exams in Kenya. First we have ensured all current kids even if they scored E in primary education - they go to secondary. We have Africa 1st almost 100 percent primary to secondary transition.
Now we have CBC - that has replaced exams with assessment. Zero exams. They are going to junior high school next year. All the learning now is practial. No more rote learning. No more exams.
Kenya is making it's 3rd major reform of education system - now if you go to school - you will find kids studying practical stuff - no more cramming and reading exams.
Now kids have to learn practical lessons....and are assesed throughout without a final exam. They make things with their hands using local materials. Everything is done practically. If it teaching about marketting - they have to enact a market in class or go to the market and sell stuff.
All I see is some basic girls stuff and kid play things.. knitting or weeding out grasses is nothing vocational or scientifically. It’s punishment.
Mkenya2019: How do you tell parents you're going to deliberate fail their kids. What do you think Changed pre-2015 You think Kenya kids became DUMBER NO - we decided we only need about 100K going to university because there are no white collar jobs.
You see that difference btw a zoo and progressive country. We are not afraid to makes changes to the status quo.
We cannot have power blackout for 30yrs; military dictatorship for 50yrs;
No we make changes.
.................ZOO...you cannot do this............... A ZOO CANNOT TAKE HARD PAINFUL DECISION AND PROBLEMS FESTER AND COUNTRY BECOME HELPESS.
NAIROBI — Some Kenyan opposition lawmakers are calling on the government to investigate why 90 percent of the 600,000 students who took the 2017 secondary education exams failed. The minister of education, however, expressed satisfaction with the results.
Speaking to reporters in Nairobi, opposition legislator Caleb Amisi said parliament must understand what led to only 10 percent of students scoring high enough to enter university.
"Kenya National Examination Council must be ordered to prepare and present a comprehensive report over this perceived mass failure, and an independent investigation should as well be incorporated," Amisi said. "This should be conducted by some of the most credible auditing companies in Kenya."
The results sparked an uproar among parents, teachers and others concerned about the fate of the students and the quality of Kenya's education system.
Lmao you are really foaming in ur mouth to defend your zoo. Pls and pls this article doesn’t confirm your assertion.it’s simply baseless. Try again sir.
Mkenya2019: I am suprised you're willing to accept 100B - after shouting hoarse 60B - Kenya budget headed to 60B very soon.
As regard education. Kenya MADE A DELIBERATE DECISION TO INSITUTE MASS FAILURE IN HIGH SCHOOL.
The reason - avoid becoming another Nigeria or India - where everyone focused on going to university - whilst the formal jobs DO NOT EXIST FOR GRADUATES. We had situation previously where university enrollment rose from 120K to 600K....there are thousands if not millions of graduates...who are jobless but due to prestiges cannot do any other job. These people even if they go abroad..are useless...they still have to go university abroad or drive taxis. You will find someone from Lagos or Ibanda university with Master or Phd in Newyork driving a taxi - and bitter as hell.
But imagine if Nigeria was exporting plumbers or mechanics...not university graduates...the mechanic or plumbers with practical vocational will get jobs and earn more. Imagine if manufacturing companies come to Nigeria - and they cannot find trained mechanics...just some folks trained on the job to be mechanics.
Because we are not a ZOO - we decided that has got to change - we are going to focus on VOCATIONAL TRAINING.
We have built about 200 vocational colleges - TIVET - and enrollment has risen now to about 0.5m - and we are targetting 2 million enrollment.
It takes cojones to institute MASS FAILURE like we did and FIX A COUNTRY.
WE DO THAT EVERYTIME because we are not dysfunctional. Even SportPesa that had grown to be congolmerate we killed it as sport betting was becoming unwieldy and dangerous.
US itself cannot even generate jobs for that many graduates...and many of their kids go for vocational training...and here is an african country MASS PRODUCING graduates...and formal sector generates 10K jobs for graduates....Kenya generates formal jobs of 100k...informal jobs of 900K.
The results - you graduate a million - there is barely any job for any graduate - and they emigrate - only to be told - go back to school or drive taxis or sell drugs.
Why sound so defensive. You really do not have to defend every flaws from your zoo. Something pops up and you just have to shut up and hope it goes down drain. Give us proof that those mass failure is a deliberate attempt from your govt and not something conjured up in your head to stay defensive. You either do this or we have no choice but to accept real visible facts provided by obaaderemi, not your empty words.
Btw I am really sorry to Non-kenyan for sounding like I support rapists, trust me I detest that thing with so much angst. I just needed to sound so close minded and insensitive to let that fool understand how stupid he sounds most at times. The fool has a very limited global outlooks and thinks through his Anus. I will never support rapist or any form of woman molest-action. Shalom.
