If They can't compare themselves with lagos now they should forget doing that in the future.ALL THE Planned cities in lagos alone should house the whole of nairobians and possibly half of mombassa population .Their konza is as good as dead and even if it's ever rises it will still play second fiddle to the smallest planned city in lagos...surely they don't expect that 6 high rise in the heart of konza to hold up to any competition. I laugh when they say they will compete with cairo or joburg. Cairo alone is building an entirely new capital from the scratch which is dubbed as "THE NEW CAIRO CAPITAL " and it is expected to cost them more than $35bn (because the budget is still not specific) while SOUTH AFRICA has 5 cities under construction with joburg taking 2 (one is funded by the chinese and one by the whites) while cape Town, Pretoria & durban is having one respectively. The one In cairo is marvellous with their new parliament building and modern residential unit underconstrution (you can watch the video on youtube).They are just jealous nothing more and they will get more jealous this year because chicasson group has announced that his group would commence the $4bn city at the cbd in abuja and we are awaiting the "mitros city" in Abeokuta to commence hopefully this year. Remember we have started eyimba economic city this year
