Abuja has about a million people so your excuse doesnt cut. We have commuter rail and the intra-city trains are always full. The rest of the people use personal cars and minibuses. If we build monorail it will be an instant hit without any effort. Its all about openness to an idea. Kenyans are quick to jump to new ideas not like Nigerians who even if it is announced on national radio will still stick to the yellow vans paying thrice as much. Our SGR is now clocking 4 million passengers barely 1.5 yrs later. By the time yours hits a million we might be talking of half a billion Kenyans having travelled by SGR.
