Nigerians population growth should be about 2.5% while we grew by 2.38 as gdp last year which was even forcasted by imf to be less than 1.9% .This year forcast for our Gdp is expected to be 2.2% by imf but we are making plans to hit 2.7% and above this just as we did last year by defying imf incompetent predictions. Thanks to the president for announcing his plans to lift 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years so let's see our this year runs out. But ghanians I want to know how you are better is it in terms of infastructure or by placing strategic economic infastructure. Did your silly asses know we have an sgr that connects abuja to kaduna, and before the end of these year we would getting new ones ( Lagos-Ibadan, lagos-abeokuta) .This year alone nigeria was announced to be the no1 african country investing most in infastructure. The sgr connecting lagos to calabar is costing us $12bn and we have some many more.All of this are connected to special economic zones (SEz) which are being put in place in each individual state/city you even know how much it takes to build an sgr that would even run for 10km/hr how much more what we are building. Try connecting tema to accra and see your country run bankrupt. Lekki deepseaport will commence operation this year and according to international report it is the largest deepseaport in africa and would add $560bn to nigeria's economy and that not all because a bigger deepseaport than that has commenced construction in lagos and uyo with of uyo expected to.be completed in two years time

I have shown you with charts and all that smuggled rice into Nigeria is about 2.7mmt and not 3mmt. I have been very generous there. It's not even up to that in reality.

Nigeria's official rice import is currently negligible. 2.7mmt smuggled and about 5mmt produced locally. In fact many Nigerians can't even tell the rice apart these days.The local varieties have flooded the market and prices are dropping fast.

I don't know what your nemesis Yemi Kale claims but from all indications Nigeria is currently producing over 5mmt of rice. Egypt's rice production has dropped from what it was. Right now Nigeria is number one in Africa.

Oh,yes. Nigeria is self sufficient in rice production but from your own articles, the rice cabal is fighting back seriously by smuggling through benin. But it's getting harder by the day. It's not much different from Tanzanians and Ugandans flooding your market with smuggled maize and rice. From experience you should know smuggling cabals are tough.

it's easy to dismantle rice because import data is available. We know Benin a country of 10m people are second world biggest importer of Rice after China for a reason.We know Cameroun are also ratcheting their numbers.But Nigeria Buhari propaganda will claim to have in 3yrs turn around Nigeria rice production from 2-4m to 15m tonnes.Only in Nigeria do you hear such audacious outlandish claims.Their fertilizers consumption is flattened out during the period.If we did the same for Cassava where they claim to ridiculously produce 35m tonnes and the Yams and then Maize. You'll know just how overcooked their GDP is... that claim to have agriculture worth nearly 100b dollars... that they consume it all and still have space in their big malnourished stomachs to import 22B dollars worth of food...add maybe 5b dollar food smuggled in from their neighborhood. That is possibly the most food import of any country.They only export very few cocoa beans.They are telling us a typical Nigeria family of 7-8 members each consume about 10,000usd per annum of food.And yet they are very malnourished and food insecure.
