Hello everyone, I recently got my study visa, I currently live in the UK with wife and kids. My plan is to visit Canada and start my course for the first Semester while my wife stays back in the UK for few months to continue her work. Please is anyone heading to Fanshawe College for September, 2024 intake ? I will like to share a condo apartment to cut cost before bringing family in. Please signify if your destination is London Ontario. (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share) |

Hello everyone, myself, wife and our two kids got approval and passport request few hours ago. Thanks to all the contributors, a four-year dream came true: The journey began about four years ago, when we had all of our documents ready for submission but opted to try Express entry; however, CRS increased to 474, which was out of reach for our family at the time. We opted to try the UK because visa approval appears to be fairly probable. To God's glory, we travelled to the UK for my second master's degree. God was so faithful that even as a student, I was able to find a good and well-paying work. I got a job as a senior software developer the same month I graduated. To people around me, I was one of the luckiest but then I still feel unfulfilled one way or the other, all my thoughts were on travelling to Canada, then SINP decided to waste my time by flashing us expression of interest early last year, till today there have not been any response after submission. As the UK was changing their immigration rules, everyone around me was looking for a means to solidify their stay but I was busy dreaming about Canada. Funny enough, Canada welcome me to the new year with a refusal on the basis that my school has cancelled my letter of acceptance, But to the glory of God, I’m here testifying to His goodness today. Long story short. This is just to encourage someone out there, “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”. Don’t give up on your dream(s). First application: All submitted 12th December, 2023 First Application refusal: Main applicant: 19th January, 2024 First Application refusal dependents: 1st February, 2024. Second Application: Main applicant application submitted 19th January, 2024, Medical pass after two weeks, 2nd February, 2024 Spouse and kids application submitted 1st February, 2024 Medical pass after one week, 7th February, 2024 Thanks all 2 Likes |

Hi everyone, Please your opinion is urgently needed, seeing people being refused for POF, could this be as a result of the naira depreciation please ? Submitted 19th January, for family of 5 with 55m, which is about 85kCAD then but checking now value is slightly less than 50kCAD. Do I need to top it up and send them a new POF please ? Or alternatively, got fund in foreign currency upto 20k CAD balance but not sure it’s upto 4months in the account untouched, could this be added as additional/top up please ? Or can I print the conversion / exchange rate as at the time I submitted and send to them via web form? Note: I have a monthly salary in foreign currency which I have sent updated payslips for January and February, 2024 to them via web form, is this enough to show that the depreciation in the fund will not be a problem ? Your opinion will be highly appreciated. |

Hello everyone, Please I need your opinion, I’m a second time applicant, my first application was submitted on 12th Dec. 2023 and was refused on 19th January, because of an error from my DLI. The institution changed my start Date from May, 2024 to September, 2024 issued another offer letter and cancel the May, intake one which was what I submitted with my application. Note: As at then I have already paid 50% of the tuition fee totalling about 10,000CAD. I was not sent any email notification until I was refused on the ground that “The offer letter you provided has been cancelled by your DLI” I immediately email the school to inform them and I was told that it wasn’t cancelled but Changed, whereas IRCC view it as been cancelled not sure what went wrong. However, I was provided with a writing evidence that my initial offer was not cancelled and it was valid and they also pointed the IRCC attention to a link at the bottom of the letter to self verify from the school portal. Long story short, I immediately resubmitted another application the same day 19th January, 2024 with the new offer letter and letter from the DLI. This is the seventh week now below is the update on the tracking, whereas the first application took about 5weeks to get decision. Can I possibly send them email please ?

Please someone help with appropriate document for this section under employment record: “Government-issued document type* Choose one government-issued document to submit for each position where work experience is claimed. If you do not submit the required documentation with your application, then your application may be returned or made ineligible. Application fees are non-refundable” For the foreign work experience it's cleared, for my Nigeria work experience in a private sector what do I attach to meet this criteria please?

Hello, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the following please: I recently received admission to a Canadian college that required half of the tuition fee to be paid within the next few days. Just as I was about to make the tuition deposit next week, I received an email from Saskatchewan regarding the expression of interest application I submitted about a year ago. My question : 1. can I apply for both a study visa and a permanent residency at the same time? 2. Could anyone who has recently received an EOI from Saskatchewan please advise me of the average processing time for an EOI application? 3. I presently have a Masters degree that is around three (3) years old, but I have more than ten (10) years of verifiable job experience as a Web Developer in both Nigeria and Europe with ND and HND, does my masters degree need to be up to ten (10) years old to be able to claim this experience? I'm asking because I'm not currently in Nigeria and my current visa has about a year left on it. The main reason for planning this canny waka is based on my believe that if I applied now, my study visa application might be approved before my legal status in my current country of residence expired. Also, even though I am eligible for visa renewal, but I don't seems interested which means that I have to explore the best option to get me and family to Canada legally within this period. Do you think ignoring the admission and study visa is a best option? Do you believe I'll be able to complete the entire process, from EOI application approval to PR application, by February 2024? Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated. |
