On praying for Godswill in marriage.
When I was younger, I held this belief that there was someone somewhere created by God from the foundation of the world for me as a marital partner, And that that was what God's will meant
And so many people still hold this belief. This is absolutely wrong. No man is another man's inheritance, only Jesus is our inheritance. And as such God has so many of his sons and daughters that are suitable for you in marriage.
If you say there's just one person from the foundation of the world, well, the question is, what happens when that person refuses to accept your proposal, okay, maybe God will have to quickly create another woman or man in heaven, supernaturally make him or her grown up and send her to the earth just to marry you.
You see, so absurd. That doesn't mean praying for God's will in marriage is outdated, no? It's very important we do.
But the question is what does it mean?
It depends on what we term as God's will
God's will is that person found suitable(YES SUITABLE) by God (by reason of election by Grace, growth, increase in capacity) to cooperatively bear the will of God for your life (in marriage) and bring it to the point of delivery.
So believe me, God still has sons and daughters, there are a thousand and one sons and daughters of God out there whom God has prepared for his children.
That does not say one should begin to change them like boxers.
So, if a sister or brother refuses you there are other sisters and brothers with capacity.
So, should you pray for God's will, yes, Pray for God's will but with the right knowledge and understanding.
So, when you're praying for Godswill, know that you're not praying for one sister Deborah hidden by God under Olumo rock, waiting for the day he will deliver her to you or one brother Lucas living on top of some kind of mountain in the desert
So when we say people should go to God to ask, if she's Godswill, we're simply saying..
Ask God, if he or she is suitable for purpose. Shikena
Remember what Elijah said, He said there remaineth no more prophet in Israel, and God looked at him like, what's this one saying..
I have enough, that have not yet bowed to Baal..
Was Elijah God's will of a prophet for Isreal? Yes
Was he the only one available, was there more?... You can answer for yourself..
So you see, will plenty, but it took God to let Elijah know that there are more prophets for his cause in Israel asides him.
So only God knows His will and only Him can reveal to you. That's why we encourage you to pray and leave human formulars
