WHY IS THIS MAN NOT RELEASING JAMB DIRECT ENTRY FORM AND STOP MAKING NOISE
Emmyloaded2: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dissociated itself from a social media account on Facebook calling on candidates to come for their UTME score upgrade.
The board warn the public and desperate candidates against falling victim of this scam and being defrauded of their hard earned money.
According to a statement by the Board’s Head of Media, “We wish to state unequivocally that the statement was not from JAMB, its Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, or any of its offices nor has he authorized any persons or group to post such an inglorious request and statement.
“JAMB therefore want to state that the results gotten by candidates from the 2017 UTME were the true reflection of their performance after going through a full proof scoring mechanisms. As such, it did not intend to review the scores or commissioned anybody to do that. JAMB has also not been directed by any organ of government to so.
“JAMB wants to use this opportunity to state that its examination is not a fail or pass examination as there are other variables that are considered outside the examination to arrive at a successful admission. There is no need for this desperation as getting “high” scores as being touted by fraudulent characters is not a guarantee for admission.
He finally stated that effort are being made to arrest the perpetrators of this scam, and called on the public to visit the closes JAMB office if they have enquiries.
The registrar Prof Is-haq Oloyede has disclosed that some CBT centers gave bribe to Officials,to falsify the 2017 UTME results.
the registrar disclosed this at Abuja yesterday.
He said JAMB official collected Bribes for "Security Reasons" oloyode who did not mention the CBT centers ,noted that the officials reported the case to the authority.
He also disclosed that some parents conspired with CBT centers to carryout Examination Malpractice ,He added that some of them paid amount of 200,000 for result falsifying, meanwhile you can even confirm our jam result if it has changed.

NASTYNASOSO: Contrary to the widely held belief that Vice President Osinbajo, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a senior advocate of Nigeria, and a Professor of law is above board, a forensic analysis of his activities since he assumed office reveals that the VP has consistently abused his office, negating the principles of Federal Character and has systematically favored members of the Redeemed Church and his Yoruba tribe. A first pointer to what was to become a pattern of this incestuous scheme was the nomination and subsequent appointment of Pastor Okey Enelamah, who was his Deputy and later successor at the RCCG, Banana Island, Lagos. Pastor Enelamahs appointment came as a shock to Nigerians because apart from the fact that he was Pastor Osinbajos successor at the Redeemed Church, he neither worked for President Buharis victory nor believed in staking for the success of the Nigerian Project. Most importantly, Pastor Osinbajo had pushed for the appointment of Pastor Enelamah as Minister of Finance against his benefactor Bola Tinubus choice of Wale Edun.
While Nigerians were trying to come to terms with the shock of Pastor Enelamahs nomination, VP Osinbajo took a step further in his nepotistic disposition in the setting up of his office and selection of personal staff. First, he chose his former colleague at the University of Lagos Ade Ipaye who was also his Special Adviser while he was Attorney General of Lagos to serve as his Chief of Staff. Unsurprisingly, Ade Ipaye hails from Ogun State, the VPs State of origin. He went on to relocate Laolu Akande, an indigene of Ogun State who was hibernating in New York to serve as his Media Adviser. For his Chief Economic Adviser, he appointed Ambassador Dipeolu also of Yoruba extraction. The VP didnt stop there, of his 10 Principal Officers in his office, 9 are from his Yoruba ethnic group! For a man who was elected to represent the interest of the entire Country, this is embarrassingly tragic indeed. It is on record that as Vice President, Atiku Abubakar had a plethora of southerners in his office: Chris Mamah, Onukaba Adinoyi Ojo,Tokunbo Adeola, Dr. Azuh Ndukwe, Phil Agbaso, Dr. Isu, etc. He did not concentrate appointments in his native North East.
While the VP was plotting as to how to corner power for his Yoruba Brethren and RCCG Members, he immediately at the onset of administration instructed Major Agencies of Government to patronize - his Law Firm SimmonsCoopers Partners. The Firm had a field day in the Ministry of Justice, NNPC Group, DPR, Ministry of Works, and virtually all the Parastatals in the Ministry of Trade and Investment. Curiously, the Managing Partner of SimmonsCooper Tunde Irekera, was recently appointed the Director General of the Consumer Protection Council. It is instructive to note that Tunde Irekera was the immediate past DG of the CPCs trusted adviser and his Law Firm SimmonsCooper Partners handled all the legal work in the Agency. This, however, didnt deter the VP from installing his stooge in the Agency. More curious is the fact that while Pastor Enelamah implemented a major shakeup in the Agencies under his watch, he spared the grossly incompetent Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council Segun Awolowo who is a brother in law to the VP. In their quest to colonize the Ministry of Trade and Investment, the VP appointed another of his stooge Yewande Sadiku, of Yoruba extraction as the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, The strategy, is to appoint her Managing Director of the Bank of Industry so she can build his war chest. Nigerians are watching.. In his quest to perpetuate his ilk in Government, the VP has capitalised on the magnanimity of President Buharis implicit confidence in him to plant his, Yoruba and RCCG Brethren in Key Agencies of Government.
In a calculated attempt to corner the Countrys Sovereign Wealth Fund, the VP appointed his long standing crony Mr. Zeitlin as the Chairman of the Board of National Sovereign Wealth Fund Investment Authority despite the fact that Mr. Zeitlin was indicted by a New Delhi court in India. Not done with having control of the Sovereign Wealth Fund, the VP, in clear contravention of the provisions of the Pension Reform Act 2014, orchestrated the illegal dissolution of the Board of the National Pension Commission and appointed his crony, Funsho Doherty, as Chairman and two RCCG Brothers Benjamin Ovbiosu and Akinwale as Commissioners, in a flagrant violation of the Federal Character Principle which stipulates each Geo Political Zone must have only one nominee on the Board.
Then again, the VP went ahead to appoint his RCCG Brother Mr. Okoh, a disgraced erstwhile banker as DG of the Bureau of Public Enterprise. It is important to state that the VPs Law Firm had retainership with the defunct New Nigeria Bank while Okoh was its Managing Director. Both men subsequently became Business associates. The ostensible reason why Mr. Okoh was sent to the BPE is to corner choice assets for the VP in the next round of privatization.
The list is endless.. from INEC to NNPC, Non-Career Ambassadors to the management of critical Regulatory Agencies, the VP has surreptitiously embedded his lackeys in positions of authority against all known norms of equity, fairness, justice and Federal Character. Clearly the VP does not believe in the unity of the Nigerian State given his actions in the last 23 months. While he pretends not to have political aspirations, he has commenced covert campaigns for 2019 because he believes that President Buhari would not be in the position to contest at that time. It is public knowledge, for instance, that the VP has mandated a senior member of the RCCG leadership to mobilize and coordinate Christians in the Northern part of the Country with a view to driving his 2019 Presidential bid. This is a sinister plot that is unknown to the VPs benefactor and Godfather Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is banking on the VP to hand over to him in 2019 in the event of President Buhari not running for a myriad of reasons.
Indeed, in what can be viewed as a strategy for building a financial war chest, the VP has pushed forward his Brother-In-Law and trusted aide Lanre Osibona to front for him in shady business transactions with multinationals in oil and gas, power and construction sectors, among others. The said Mr Osibona, who was a stranded IT Personnel in London is reportedly now hosting Champagne Parties in Abuja and other exotic cities around the world. It was gathered the Mr Osibona in his capacity as the Aide overseeing the VPs schedule, has been exchanging appointment times with juicy contracts. A case in point is the major contract that General Electric gave to a company fronting for Mr Osibona and the VP simply because the former was able to facilitate a meeting for the power sector players. Not satisfied with cornering deals in the power sector, the VP and his stooge, Mr Osibona have in collaboration with the Minister of State Petroleum Ibe Kachikwu cornered all the juicy deals in the NNPC Group. They have also extended their inordinate greed to the Ministry of Niger Delta and the NDDC, where the VP has completely taken over the job of the Minster. While Nigerians were hailing the VP for his shuttle diplomacy to the Niger Delta States a few months ago, they were oblivious of the fact that he was actually going there to further his nest and fortify his war chest for 2019. Nigerians should also not be blind to the fact that the extant raging battle between the VP and President Buharis Chief of Staff is grounded on the fact that the VP always embark on 3 times a week trips to Lagos with over 40 aides on each of their trip at tax payers expense and often fraudulent trips to Lagos using the Presidential Air Fleet and claiming bogus estacode. An infuriated Chief of Staff had to escalate this to President Buhari, hence the current power tussle in the villa.
Given the foregoing, the question Nigerians are asking is whether the self professed Pastor, Professor and Learned Senior Advocate is truly the saint he purports to be. The answer to this question can be situated in one of the VPs sermons at RCCG. In the said sermon, he admonished the congregation to refrain from worshipping the God of Baal and that they should instead worship the Almighty God. In todays parlance, the God of Baal symbolizes the God of Money and Power. It is also of silence in the face of injustice.. VP Osinbajo should please practice what he preaches..
When he was first elevated to the status of Acting President on 19 January 2017, Professor Yemi Osinbajo embarked on a tour on Niger Delta region. His entourage included Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Ikachukwu; Minister of State for Agriculture, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, as well as the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs. A move seen as a welcomed development by the good people of Niger Delta who saw it as a new chapter to finding lasting solution to the seemingly unending Niger Delta question. Not one of the rhetorical promises made to the people of Niger Delta by Acting President Osinbajo was ever fulfilled or rather, is yet to be fulfilled.
Some of us, however, suspected that the Osinbajo was neither interested in proffering solution to the Niger Delta question but to start a clandestine move to build his political capital ahead of 2019 Presidential election having read his body language.
As Vice President and sensing that President Buhari is/may be medically unfit to stand for re-election in 2019, Professor Yemi Osinbajo shifted his attention to build network in the north all for 2019.
On Thursday April 13, he went to Adamawa state to acquire the title of "Jagaban of Adamawa Emirate". Only yesterday, he went to Cross river state to collect another traditional title in Efik kingdom, Ada Idaha Ke Efik Eburutu. For what reason if not political?
While I recognize that the Nigeria Constitution gives Yemi Osinbajo the right to contest for any office, including the Presidency, I must also state that his clandestine moves to succeed Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 is counterproductive to the interest of Nigerians and threat to the unity of our country, this is aside his sheer incompetency in public service since he assumed office as Vice President, Chairman of National Planning Commission and Chairman of National Economic Council.
This article is not to talk about his preference for employing only people of his Yoruba ethnic group as Personal Aides, all these are stories for some other time. This article is strictly about the injustice that his Presidency will mean to the rest of the country if we allow it to materialise.
1. HIS PRESIDENCY IS UNJUST TO THE SOUTH In the history of Nigeria, the Southwest and Yoruba nation have led the country for a combined period of 11 years and 11 months; Chief Olusegun Obasanjo held sway for 11 years and 8 months (8 years as President and 3 years and 8 months as Military ruler) while Ernest Shonekan held sway for 3 months.
Meanwhile, the South-south only led Nigeria for only 5 years and 25 days through Goodluck Jonathan, while the Southeast has NEVER led the country in Executive capacity save the 7 months under the military reign of General Aguiyi Ironsi.
Under this present democratic dispensation, SW and Yoruba nation has led the country for 8 years and has been occupying the Vice President office since 2015.
The Southsouth led the country for only 5 years and 25 days and occupied the office of Vice President for 3 years through Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
The Southeast has neither produced the President nor the Vice President.
Being a multi-ethnic region, it will be highly unfair for one region and ethnic group to seek to occupy the slot of the South in the Presidency in 2019 irrespective of whether it is the office of the President or the Vice President. It will amount to injustice to the ethnic nationalities in the South save the Yoruba for Yemi Osinbajo to succeed Buhari in 2019..
2. HIS PRESIDENCY IS UNJUST TO THE NORTH: Since the return of this democratic dispensation in 1999, while the South enjoyed power for a total of 13 years (SW 8, SS 5), while the north only did for 5 years and counting through late Umaru Musa Yar’adua (3 years) and Muhammadu Buhari (2 years and counting). If the status quo remains till 2019, the north will haul a meager combined period of 7 years; a far cry when compared with the 13 years that the South held sway.
It is both morally and politically just that the North be allowed to produce the President of Nigeria come 2019 for another 4 years period. We must realize that injustice is injustice anywhere. Allowing Osinbajo, a Yorubaman/Southerner to succeed Buhari in 2019 will only cause disaffection among those in the northern part of the country. There will be feelings of marginalization will crept in. This is a situation the country cannot afford to entertain at this period.
MY SUPPORT FOR NORTH/SOUTHEAST TICKET IN 2019 Nigeria belongs to everybody, it does not belong to a section of the country. While it is fair for power to remain in the north, it is also fair for the Southeast to be part of the equation after years of absence. The only way to allow justice prevail is for a North/Southeast Presidency in 2019.
This arrangement, I strongly believe will calm the nerves of the people of the Southeast, give the Igbo people a sense of ownership in the Nigeria project and a sense of belonging in the affairs of Nigeria.
The Yoruba nation has always stood for justice, I am optimistic that they will stand for what is right come 2019. I have no doubt in my mind that they will not oppose the aspiration of a credible aspirant from the northern extraction and an Igbo man to assume the office of the President and Vice President respectively in 2019.
Emmyloaded: The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) has denied opening the portal for candidates to change or correct their course, institution or even data for the 2017 UTME.
This announcement came after a large crowd stormed the Ikoyi, Lagos office of JAMB, claiming that JAMB closed the portal to Accredited CBT Centres because they were extorting the candidates. The candidates claimed that JAMB had instructed all CBT centres to refer candidates to only their offices Nationwide.
It was even reported that 9 Candidates Fainted due to the crowd, while trying to successfully effect a change in their Course/Institution.
We're not sure why JAMB released this statement, since many candidates here had confirmed to had successfully effected 2017 Change in Course/Institution at CBT centres.
Read the statement released by the Head of Media and Information of JAMB, Dr Fabian Benjamin below;
Benjamin said that reports reaching the headquarters of the board indicated that a large crowd of candidates on Wednesday besieged the board’s Lagos office.
He said the development was creating unnecessary anxiety and chaos where there should be none.
"This announcement became necessary following the crowd in our offices by candidates demanding for such services.
"Affected candidates are urged to remain calm as we shall contact them when the time is right.
"The request for correction of data is usually from candidates, who provided wrong information while filling their application document online," Benjamin said.
According to him, the change of institutions is for those who are considering other preferences other than their initial choices.
He noted that the candidates were misled to believe that the board had started such services and would soon close.
He said that when the board opened the window for correction of data and change of course it would make the announcement.
He assures all candidates desirous of carrying out the correction of data or change of institution that the board would ensure that enough time was given for them to do so.
Benjamin also explained that the board had not finished with the conduct of the 2017 UTME.
"The board is still conducting examinations for those who registered late and those who could not be verified during the examination.
"As such, it will be unfair to them to open window for such correction and changes at the same time.
"Our reforms are meant to make our services accessible to all conveniently."
He also said that JAMB would decentralise the service when it eventually opened its portal for it.
"We are collaborating with the University of Lagos, Yaba College of Technology and other stakeholders on this in Lagos. We will do same in other states.
"This will ease the pressure on our various offices and ensure a hitch-free process."
OLOYEDE IS CONFUSED.....DIRECT ENTRY FORM NOT OUT IN JUNE, CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION DONE ONLY BY JAMB. THAT IS THE RESULT OF MAKING AN ISLAMIC STUDIES GRADUATE A REGISTRAR OF JAMB.
philpwresh: The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has released the results of over 1.6 million out of the over 1.7 million candidates who sat for the recently concluded 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination UTME).
The Registrar and Chief Executive of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed this wednesday at a press briefing in Abuja.
Oloyede also disclosed that the results of over 80,000 candidates were withheld for various reasons, especially suspected examination malpractices.
He also said there were about 3, 811 candidates who registered late for the examination with findings revealing that more than half of then had earlier registered. Oloyede noted that the results were released within the 24 hours of each examination in compliance with their promise to deliver the results in a timely manner.
He said: “So far, we have released 1,606,901 results leaving us with a balance of 80,889 and out of which we have deliberately withheld 76,123 because of examination malpractices.
“Let me say that we released the results within 24 hours but if it is left for me I would have withheld the result until we clear all outstanding issues.” According to him, the results were released to prove to those who doubt their capacity that it could be done within 24 hours.
“However, I want to announce to you ahead of time that if I am in charge by next year, I will not release the results immediately until all the issues are resolved,” he stressed. Speaking further, the JAMB boss said they would ensure that all candidates whose results were withheld after verifications are released before the next academic session.
Oloyede lamented the widespread examination malpractices across the country aided by parents, teachers and Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBT) centres. He disclosed that some of the CBT centres exploited the candidates by deliberately distorting their data so that they can come back to pay extra money for corrections. JAMB also disclosed of connivance between parents, teachers and managers of the CBT centres to engage in cheating.
Oloyede noted: “As at today, 640 candidates out of over 1.7 million candidates could not do their biometric verification and we told you what happened about registration distortion by these registration centres. In Abuja, a principal collected N8,000 each from their students to effect their registration but did not obtain their biometrics. To this end, Oloyede has threatened to severe cooperation with over 600 CBT centres across the country, most of which are privately owned.
He also denied the report that over 10,000 candidates were implicated for examination malpractice in Anambra State, saying the state coordinator was misquoted.
“Mrs. Aja-Nwachukwu was misquoted by the journalist. She said only 10 candidates were implicated but the journalist wrote 10,000,” he clarified.

AnthonyDgreat: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, says it has yet to release cut-off marks for placements into tertiary institutions for the 2017 academic year.
Head, Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in a statement on Tuesday, said that the policy committee meeting responsible for the marks had not met.
“We want to appeal to all candidates to jettison such speculations and engage themselves in more meaningful ventures that would add value to their future,’’ he said.
Benjamin said results of the just concluded 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination had since been released, with a few others still being previewed.
“We want to appeal to Nigerians to understand that such candidates whose results are being previewed may not necessarily have participated in any malpractice.
“But rather, centres where they sat for the examination had issues during the conduct of examination.
“These issues were reflected on the CCTV footage and this suggests why they must be carefully investigated before releasing such results,” he said.
The official said a school in Abia was discovered to have connected cables secretly to a distant hall for hired mercenaries to write for candidates.
“This is very unfortunate given the fact that the school is a missionary school and supposed to be a leading light against such vices.
“We urge candidates to note that no result will be withheld without a cogent reason as this explains why we are taking time to ensure that those who are innocent are exonerated.
“Again, candidates are advised not to patronise any centre, office or shop for any service; please visit our offices in all the 36 states of the Federation and FCT for any complaint, enquiry or assistance.
“This is also because our attention has also been drawn to an illegal centre being operated near our Ikoyi Office in Lagos with the aim of defrauding innocent candidates.
“This centre collects all kinds of fees in cash for services that are even free. The general public should note that payments for any of our services are done via our TSA account with CBN and not cash.”

The Federal High Court in Lagos yesterday refused to grant Mrs. Patience Jonathan’s request to release her accounts holding $15.591million.
Justice Mohammed Idris held that she and other parties must give oral evidence on the money’s ownership.
Mrs. Jonathan will, therefore, be required to appear in court to give evidence on how she came about the money, which the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) described as a “proceed of crime”.
Since the case was filed, Mrs. Jonathan has never attended the proceedings. She has always been represented by lawyers.
She sued the EFCC for placing a no-debit order on the Skye Bank Plc accounts.
Justice Idris ordered parties to file pleadings since issues were joined on the money’s ownership.
The judge said the defendants formulated issues that were different from the one formulated by Mrs. Jonathan in her originating summons, which he said was “unacceptable”.
Besides, he said the nature of the case was not one to be decided by or an originating summons procedure in which witnesses are not called to testify.
“The issues formulated by all the defendants are baseless. They go to no issue and will be ignored by the court.
“I hold that this court lacks the competence to determine the issues raised by the defendants in their written addresses, having abandoned the specific issues formulated by the plaintiff in the originating summons.
“It is unfortunate. I say this because the issues raised by the defendants appear on the face of it good and deserving to be considered on their merit.
“But, I as I understand it to be the law, sentiment has no basis in the adjudicatory system,” the judge said.
Justice Idris said where processes were not properly prepared, any defect would render the proceeding fatal.
The court, he said, cannot “re-formulate” the issues for determination.
He further held that there was a contention as to issues and facts on the money’s ownership.
“In respect of this issue (of ownership), the contention appears divided and there is clearly an air of friction in the proceedings,” the judge said.
According to him, all the defendants’ counter-affidavits contain disputed facts that could not be decided without oral evidence.
“In the light of the above affidavit evidence, it cannot in my view be rightly contended that there are no disputed facts of substance as to the ownership of the said funds and the law.
“The issues of fact raised by the defendants herein are not spurious or irrelevant. The affidavit of the plaintiff is also not conjectural.
“In my view, the facts are contentious, and oral evidence needs to be led by the parties herein.
“In the light of the above facts, this case is generally not suitable for an originating summons procedure.
“In the circumstances, the court hereby orders that the parties herein file pleadings in accordance with the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2009 and trial shall then proceed accordingly.
“This is the order of the court,” Justice Idris held.
The EFCC had urged the court not to release the accounts because the money is suspected to be a “proceed of crime”.
Skye Bank Plc, Jonathan’s former aide Waripamo-Owei Dudafa, Pluto Property and Investment Company Ltd, Seagate Property Development and Investment Company Ltd, Trans Ocean Property and Investment Company Ltd and Avalon Global Property Development Ltd are the other respondents.
The companies, through their representatives, had pleaded guilty to laundering the money last September 15, when they were arraigned before Justice Babs Kuewumi of the same court.
They were charged with Dudafa, Briggs and a banker, Adedamola Bolodeoku for laundering the money.
Unlike the companies, Dudafa, Briggs and Bolodeoku pleaded not guilty to the 17-count charge.
But, the companies, through another representative, filed an appeal, contending that they pleaded guilty “in error”. The appeal is pending.
In a supporting affidavit to her application, Mrs. Jonathan’s aide, Sammie Somiari said Dudafa helped the former first lady to open the accounts about March 2010.
The deponent claimed Mrs. Jonathan was the sole signatory to the accounts and that she had no relationship with the companies.
He said after the accounts were opened, Mrs. Jonathan discovered that Dudafa opened only one of the accounts in her name while the other four were opened in the names of companies belonging to Dudafa.
The deponent said Mrs. Jonathan continued to operate the accounts even though they were not in her name.
He said the bankers promised to rectify the problem by changing the accounts to Mrs. Jonathan’s name, but never did.
EFCC is contending that the money is a proceed of crime and should be forfeited to the Federal Government.
Another judge of the court on April 26 ordered the temporary forfeiture of a separate $5,842,316.66 belonging to Mrs. Jonathan.
EFCC said the sum was “reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities”.
