I'm Joseph Gabriel Isibor from orhionmwon LGA of Edo state I won the number one copper award in Nasarawa state where I served. The followings are my personal CDS: 1. Built a class room at Ruben Garba primary school, bult3 modernized water closet toilets, donated 75 sets of uniforms, constructed and donated 15 three sitter desks, established ICT centre and trained 150 students as well as connected the school to PHCN, donated invater and solar system, installed security gadgets at orientation camp and secretariat: camera's monitor and metal detectors, donated generator set, public address system, filling cabinet to NYSC, established a barbing salon for the training of the Almajiris in keffi and lunching operation keep the Emir's palace clean of which I slept it for 10months every morning and also donated d sweeping materials and waste bin. I was nominated for presidential award and the representative from Abuja after seen my projects was very impressed when he saw d river I was carry materials through. But up till now I ave not receive any invitation but some person said they have received. Pls how true is that because I am very sure I deserve this award

ABUJA—The Director General of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brig-General Johnson Olawumi, yesterday, ruled out favouritism in the selection process of nominees in the forthcoming NYSC Presidential Award.
There had been complaints from some corps members that the selection of past winners of the award had been fraught with irregularities.
But Olawumi at the opening of 2014 President’s NYSC Honours Award National Selection Committee Meeting, in Abuja, insisted that the scheme would not derail from its core value of transparency, fairness and accountability.
To this end, he charged the committee to be fair and transparent to ensure that their decisions stood the scrutiny of the general public.
“As you embark on the selection process, I wish to implore you to approach the task with commitment, diligence and high level of responsibility.
“This is the only way by which the committee can come out with decisions that will bring the very best out of several nominees presented for selection.
“The assignment before the committee is a very sensitive one, therefore, decisions arrived at must be fair, so that they will not only stand the scrutiny of the general public, but meet the expectation of all Nigerians,” he said.
The Director of Corps Welfare and Inspectorate, NYSC, Mr Michael Ahile, who double as the Secretary of the committee, said: “The Inspectorate has taken some pains to verify claims from State Secretariat to forestall novelty and frivolities.
“With the steps we have taken. I am optimistic that the quality of the work will be satisfactory and indisputable.”

The photojournalistwas again left speechless when the farmer told him that he had just left the PM and that if he gets to the PM's house, which he described, he would meet him sitting on the bare floor with his kids enjoying the sugarcane that he gave them. The British photojournalistwas dazed when he reached the PM's home. This is the picture that he took. May the labours of our heroes past never be in vain. Today, we have vagabonds and thieves in power. Those who disturb an entire city with sirens and their empty noises of vanity. Those who loot the treasury of an entire nation and still insult our common intelligence with their embarrassing incompetence. Nigeria has all it takes to become the greatest nation on earth. cramjones: It only amazes me how people would advocate for boko haram that have killed and mamed thousands to be rehabilitated and paid, when those who stole N20,000 rot in jail. It amazes how anyone would expect me at my age and intellect to enagage in any form of discussion when you support those that have murdered our women and children.
