Many people love being told what they want to hear- things in line with what they do rather than the truth. |
takeprofit: anybody calling Goodluck Jonathan's administration clueless is a first class fool. nigerians will only realize what they have now when they lose it and fall into the hands of irresponsible looters.now, let's be objective. Without taking sides sentimentally. This is quite good, local... But who benefit? Who mustn't benefit. What will those banned be doing? Relocating- whatever? Getting jobs- where? Dying- whatever? And those who are not civil servant...keep trekking or stay confined? It is good being transparent, being encouraging to local products, being civil-servant minded; but let's encourage him, to consider the majority more... |
Preaching holiness is not a prove of being holy. Jesus said in matthew 7:21 that 'not all who say to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of God.. Many will say to me, Lord, in Your name we cast out demons and I will say depart from me, you workers of iniquity. Why is it difficult to admit our flaws and change? We always stand against anything that mentions our flaws... God help us and have mercy. |
If it is a student from Harvard we would say: what are Nigerian students capable of?' we are never good in encouraging our people but we discourage them. |
ASUU STRIKE PROLONGED AS A RESULT OF CONDEMNED ALTRUISM. That strike is the ultimate weapon to fight civil oppression seems to be a tenable fact if not a claim. It has been used in several places at different periods to demand for change in a particular undesirable system or practice and it has been used to fight government negligence quite successfully. But in Nigeria, strike seems to be a disturbing playful noise of the frustrated weaklings which may be ignored by the government that has become stolid, hard bitten and hard hearted. So, it is an act of intrepidity for the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to embark on strike when it is obvious that strike and criticism only make Nigerian government invigorated in asperity. Now, the students are ambivalent and many of them are confused. Many of them do not want the strike to continue yet they hardly reason that ASUU should compromise to the government's condemned altruism. In Nigeria, only in this year, there has been several warning strike, on and off, time and again. Health workers had gone on strike, NUPENG had gone on strike, ASUP had gone on strike. And none of these actually achieve the goal of going on strike. Some unions are pestering but just, by going on strike. Yet they compromised to government's quixotic promise. And now, ASUU STRIKE which started about 78 days ago is still unresolved. For ASUU, it appears that this strike is the hardnosed approach to a revamp-like vision in the education sector in this country. A quotable musician, Bob Marley sang: 'how can you be sitting there, telling me, that you care, that you care; and every time I look around, people suffer, people suffer, everywhere...' I wonder how 'THEY' can be comfortable counting days of ASUU strike, 78 days gone, and we and THEY are still counting because they are '...of the people by the people, FOR the people? ASUU strike was tenable on the demand that the agreement reached in 2009 by ASUU and the Federal Government of Nigeria should be implemented. The negotiation had started long time before 2009 that the FG considered the demand wise and necessary enough to be granted. ASUU demands 500 billion naira to improve facilities in 61 public universities including 34 state universities; and 92 or 87 billion to settle earned allowances of lecturers. According to the agreement, #100 billion was supposed to be released last year (2012) and #400 billion each subsequent year starting from 2013. The government at first claimed that there is no resource to meet ASUU's demand. Later, the FG released 100 billion for the facilities and 30 billion for the allowances. Then ASUU still insisted that the agreement must be implemented. The committee headed by Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam also was said to have figured out that classrooms, laboratories, hostels in the universities need proper attention and funding. After some days, the FG added 30 billion to make ASUU's personal demand 60 billion. And then ASUU still refused to call off the strike. Some students want ASUU to call off the strike and then keep negotiating. That was the case when ASUP called off her 3 months old strike, expecting results. ASUP seemed to have been played by the FG which is why that Union is planning something. Then, why is FG so diffident and cunning, becoming comedian of the Nigerians interest with the following fables: no fund, 130 billion, another 30 billion? Why wasting the precious time of Nigerian students? According to investigation, as reported by punch news paper, Nigeria was losing #158.93 billion daily during the nationwide strike by the NLC and NUC in January 20r2. And the country could withstand such huge loss for about a week. It is quite incredible that the minister of information, Labaran Maku, said that the country would shut down if the FG conceded to the demand of ASUU. Also, as reported by Punch news paper, the Central Bank revealed on her website that the country realized #1.05 trillion in July(only), yet ASUU's demand which is not even a fresh demand could not be implemented. Several people had called on ASUU to call off the strike though they know or feel that calling off the strike without the essential desired result is just a fleeting suspension of the strike and never the end. The country will continually enjoy episodes of ASUU strike with a sad interesting plot involving conflict entangling ASUU, FG, NANS and the parents as well activists. Has qualitative education (if there has ever been) become a game exclusive for the rich and robbers? Is it not obvious that the prolonged strike will jeopardize the future of some or many of the students especially those who are too frustrated? In Nigeria, the issue of Jumbo pay amount spent on lawmakers, Central Bank and the elected beloved cankers of the Nigerian orchard, and those who get project money for their constituencies without spending a dime, all in the running of Nigerian democratic government, is an irrefutable evidence of the fact that the Nigerian government impenitently enjoy the cigarette and throw the gay end to the majority of the people, they feed on flesh, tonic, honey and milk while they feed the people with bones, sweat, alcohol and blood. The government always spends profligately on herself with great cupidity. As Things not their own Burn with greed in their bone For though the truth is known That they are mainly on the throne To distribute the wealth that is known They refuse to change in tone. And yet, some truth is still unknown. There was a time when it was revealed that 25% of the nation's GDP is spent on the lawmakers who are less than 500 people. Education, accordion to Nelson Mandela is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world. But strike in the sector affects mainly the students who are the youth and the pillar of the country. Ralph Waldo Emerson said that 'the secret of education lies in respecting the students'. Only that in Nigeria, the inertia of the government to consider the students proves that the youth are not cherished as supposed except that they are hired when their muscles are needed in electoral wrestling championship in this country. If children are the leaders of tomorrow, then the youth should be leaders of today and the old should be the observers and the mentors. But in Nigeria, many children are deceived and abused; many of the youth are dribbled and exploited. Many of the youth, especially those from innocent background are to struggle like a camel penetrating through the path of the hole of a needle. There are final year students who ought to have graduated by now, there are graduates who ought to have gone for Youth Service or begun Post Graduate studies, and many ought to have completed a level and proceeded to another level. But they are all victims of the struggle between ASUU and the FG. In fact, not struggle but game. For how long; for how long must students stay at home without jobs, in the boring state of power outage? The youth must not resort to triviality and hopelessness but must work hard and succeed so that they can contribute to the development of this country. ASUU strike is an impediment to the dreams of most of these students. Oh, great game players! It appears the government predicted that very soon the students and their parents would become too emotional to the extent of persuading or criticizing ASUU. And of course, there are students and parents who believe ASUU is becoming inconsiderate and stubborn. Some said that ASUU should not dream of correcting a long-time accumulated error just once over a short period of time- they believe in gradual process or endurance process. And ASUU is like saying, 'No, we are not afraid of long and longer strike... We are ready'. And there are parents and students who rather than blame ASUU, want the government to meet ASUU's demand. Well, who lose among the FG, ASUU, NANS, and the STUDENTS? ASUU will get their pay. Their time is hardly being wasted. They are probably making researches, and writing books. The strike does not mean they won't go to offices to enjoy whatever the office could give. Only those who are very and very passionate about teaching would probably feel bad, somehow. But the students really bear the brunt of the strike, and it is quite unbearable and frustrating. For How Long? Unemployment, which is not unreal in developed countries such as United States and United Kingdom, is greatly burying Nigeria's Future as a rich (yet poor) country- a wealthy borrower indeed. It is quite interesting that there is 'Unemployed Youth Association of Nigeria' and 'Nigeria Association of Unemployed Graduates. No wonder the minister of finance, Dr. Okonjo Iweala said that the unemployment in the country is too worrisome. Worrisome! The Youth-Education-Unemployment, or Politics, which is worrisome? The man, Melaye asked thus: 'the agreement was made in 2009; why was there not budgetary provision for that agreement in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013?' ASUU STRIKE should be ended to show that our 'rulers' are somehow people-centered. ASUU STRIKE is still on and the NLC and TUC are planning to go on strike. What a year and a kingdom of unending STRIKE! But why should a good thinking Nigerian student support ASUU STRIKE? The president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Yinka Gbadebo, claimed that ASUU is hiding some truth pertaining to the 2009 agreement. He said the 87 billion Naira was added to the agreement by February this year, and so ASUU is not fighting for the students(?). He never focused on whether the facilities demand is indeed part of the agreement, but he drove the nail deep into the plank of ASUU earned allowances, to refute ASUU's claim of something like civil struggle. Thus, the strike becomes more confusing. Though he said ASUU does not need to consult NANS before going on strike, he called for cooperation between ASUU and NANS if the struggle is for the students. Is ASUU really hiding something which is just whether the earned allowance is part of the agreement or not and just that the allowances may not be for all lecturers? Is Gbadebo neutral or swallowed by the suckers of the national treasury like someone said you don't talk when you are eating? Many students now believe that since FG is not concerned about the students now believe that since FG is not concerned about the students, ASUU should think of a bitter way of making the government ACT. Well, that 'better way' is nothing but a fish flying in the sky, which only the strange wise ones can catch in their imaginative utopianism. NANS, president asks if ASUU is worth being supported by the students who are also oppressed and never supported by ASUU in terms of school fee, increment, increment in accommodation fee, delay in result, delay in Final Year result, hand out fee, proscription of student's BODY in schools, molestation of female students at will and so on. The students are always at the receiving end. Nevertheless, it is rational to assume that the recent industrial civil strike by different unions especially ASUU, is somehow motivated by certain political substantial entities from opposition parties (supposedly) or from the ruling party (possibly), as a subversion for the purpose of attacking the efficacy (if there is- there ought to be) of the current government. But the fact is crystal clear that the government is impervious to the cries and constructive criticism of the majority. So, if there is any political game involved, the FG is to blame because if the wall does not break, the Lizards do not creep in. Now, the Niger-Delta ex-militant are warning the New PDP faction not to dream of stopping Jonathan from 2nd term in 2015 election. What a great issue for the government to be concerned about. The FG is probably too obsessed with politics, especially now that there are factions in the ruling party, obvious but denied factions that cause the honorable of the party to be having meetings towards party unity. The minister of education, professor Ruqayyat was sacked amidst crisis. Perhaps it was as a transfer of aggression. The presidency claimed it is not linked to party crises. Also, it seems unconnected to ASUU strike because she is not the only minister sacked. Above all, Nigeria is just a country too complicated to die for. It is a good country full of complexities within and without. In conclusion, this is not an acquittal of the possibility of blame on ASUU, neither is it an indictment on FG, but a plea and a call to make the FG end ASUU STRIKE. ASUU is unyielding, why should FG not consider the students and meet ASUU's demand now? Is ASUU not going to be tamed? Should ASUU compromise and make days wasted be in vain? Are students to suffer time wastage in this short lifetime? Students are not happy, many are ambivalent. Oh ASUU How can you rub powder when you've not had your bath? Oh Nigerian government How can you be comfortable when you know that all is not well, that the bathroom is stinking and unpleasant? How can the gowns come out beautifully into the towns when the dressing rooms are empty. Why play on the student's collective destiny? Oh TWO Elephants Re-sit, re-think, re-plan, refund, release, refine And retreat. To serve our fatherland with love And strength and faith to be faithful loyal and honest... Really? So with deep sense of ambivalence and neutrality, ASUU STRIKE is prolonged due to condemned altruism, perhaps, all-embracing. And NANS is a complex storey building of 'confused occupants filling space, getting busy and interrupting the waves. ASUU strike Is prolonged only because Nigerian Democracy is 'of the people', 'BY' (few) OF the people (but 'not' really 'FOR' the 'majority' of the people. |
So, only posts about accidents, rape, politics, football scores, entertainment should make the front page including the depressing news about strike and money laudering. It is the most certain thing that we are all going to die and the day is never known to us. So what happens in the afterlife, when you and your favourite news or fashion are severed? The point here is that it is wrong to suggest that a post should not make the front page. If you don't have interest in a post, ignored it if you read it before hating it or skip it if the title is useless. There can be sense in nonsense if only we care to ponder at least critically without being dogmatic or too rigid about what we already know or believe. I know many people hate to hear about heaven but allow those who want to hear about it and go to your pleasant trend. Let's respect views of other lovingly. We can reproove others without being harsh. And it is not compulsory we comment on all posts. Hiss, sigh, and move on. Let peace reign. |

The heart believes what it wants to belief. Football is becoming such an addiction that people prefer to going to God's presence or God's word. I do not say it is outright a sin to watch ball. But guard your soul. Those who will believe will do so by grace, just keep your selve consecrated, love not the world. Do you not feel curious that a lot of f.ball players live a life that a prude will call immoral, such as drinking, philandering and so on. But does it mean God's people cannot play football? Can't football skill be a divine talent? The fact is that in any organisation, business, gathering even if named after Heaven or Jesus, satan will invest in at least one person or section, to promote his kingdom so, I join to say 'END TIME THINGS'. |

We are too eager to join the association of umemployed youth in Nigeria. Why can't we get one thing straight. Why can't we beg the FG to stop playing with oue coolective destiny. ASUU call off without reasonable action is a postponementof poverty till when the FGwill be too obsessed with election issues. |
The post is quite funny. He is fulfilling the scripture that if possible the deciver will try to convince the elect. MAY BE ASUU fraustrate him to launch out his pent up obsession with christianity. If he believed the Bible, then he'd know that a name has been given unto Him that at the name of Jesus every kneel shall bow. I think he needs to read REVELATION and know that Jesus kingdom has no end as Jehovah has planned it. Tell him to read Isaiah 53 and see if he will not say that he does not believe in that part or will he prove that Isaias was also referring to his prophet there. I always want to avoid religious tussle, though christianity as a religion is just for formality, it is beyond religion. Tell him to get busy with something else, and tell him to think about how to use his holy book to reach to his aggresive fellows and christains too should, as they are trying to, reach out to their fellows to avoid argument. Paul says they profit nothing. Or, he just wants to get busy with people replying him, are you sure he is not lonely at home. |

The Favoured Wordsmith- to the Glory of God With ‘The Venerable Favoured Ones, Stands to examine and to tell The truth as always against hell With the courage to say all is well Amidst peace and rift in a risk to tell The truth. As it is certain, Yahweh is the Shell That shields me impenetrably, till I hear the bell To come home-Heaven, Amen. And never hell. CHILD MARRIAGE: A HIDEOUS CRIME TO HUMANITY Oliver Gold Smith said, ‘Law grinds the poor and rich men rule the law’. That is the case in Nigeria. Education is progressing to a level at which it becomes a game exclusive for the rich and robbers. As if evil is pleasant, as if the people pray for pain and poverty, a greater burden and evil is being introduced, to drain and dry the value of the poor. Child Marriage, basically for underage girls, is a baseless issue which overtly opines that the essence of the existence of the female folk is to be used and overused or misused by the male folk at will. Nigeria: do or die politics; Jumbo Pay; Unnecessary Political Offices; Intermittent Power Supply for which people pay for services not enjoyed; Several Strikes, on and on (ASUP, ASSU, NLC, TUC, NUT, PENGASSAN, Doctors and so on); Plane Crash; several Bombing and Deaths; Unfinished Cases with EFCC; Fuel Subsidy Removal with Revelation without essence; Looting with Impunity; and several depressing socio-political issues- for which committee stand in vain to gain; are the hard facts about the country, Nigeria. This time, it is Child Marriage, aside gay marriage issue, that is been bitterly discussed here and there, now and then. And the government seems unconcerned about the people’s responses and reactions. There are cases, time and again that show the great failure of democracy in Nigeria. Laws are made by few for few who never care for people but for self and for maintenance of bad status quo. Female has been particularly hard hit by almost all laws of a blind patriarchal society, the men make laws that care not or care less about the female: Against child marriage we cry But they think they are too high To hear our voice and cry But they Aren’t taller than the sky That glorifies our madrigals We will not stop to cry Nature will hear us The Celestial we fight for us They will become sane Or perish in shame and pain If we allow child marriage, will fathers support a 14 year old boy who decides to marry? Never! Child Marriage is not a complete or sufficient description of the matter. It is female child-Male Adult marriage. It is not as if a child will marry a child. But against her will, or in accordance with a forced- feigned will, a girl will marry a man old enough to be a father or grandfather or a young man as the case may be. And then she must endure the pain of congress without complaint. Imagine a fresh burrow being thrust by an elephant; it certainly is an act against nature. And yet, her ignorance will be so exploited such that she will helplessly flattened in silent groaning. Despite elasticity, some ripe enough for eating, except or until when the feeling is properly or adequately stimulated, do experience pain- when touched. The poor must think. Their boys will work hard and hard and fade in time. Their girls will marry and get over used and over-milked till they fade away especially when their haunch and breast become uninvitingly flattened. The rich will educate their children-boys and girls. And the result is: the posterity of the rich will rule continuously over the poor. John F. Kennedy said, ‘A child mis-educated is a child lost'. And we must know that a child lost is a generation lost. Child marriage- a girl marries an old man and the man imprisons her. He used her for his comfort. The poor girl bleeds. Poor girl bleeds. Her pain’s ne’er relieved by the brunch I wonder if our cries can stop the staunch The evil ne’er consider her comfort They feel good to force her into his fort Where her cheeks, lips and teeth will ne’er smile For she is at the bottom of the pile And her breast and Haunch will waste And her milk will waste And her beauties pile to join the pile Of queens that form the fort stile And she zooms past on her fate And wears out and old before her date And her totality is rendered ashes and non-entity Apart from the pleasure she gives the wicked entity It is irritating that despite hard facts about the evils of child marriage, such as hard evidences of medical implication, many of the people’s representatives prefer to allow child abuse, female oppression, female abuse, in term of child or early marriage. There are several cases of Vesico Virginal Fistula (VVF) in Nigeria. Nigeria is said to record the highest cases of VVF in the world. The minister of Women affair and Social Development, Hajiya Zainab Maina revealed that Nigeria has the highest cases of VVF in the world with an ‘estimated’ 400, 000 to 800,000 cases of which 20,000 cases added annually. According to Wikipedia, VVF is an abnormal fistulous tract extending between the bladder and the virginal that allows the continuous involuntary discharge of urine into the virginal vault. It can result from prolong child labour or violet rape. Fistula is said to be a term for abnormal connection between two bodily organs. Obsteric fistula either Vesico virginal fistula or rector virginal fistula is dangerous, shameful, painful and perhaps deadly. Although, only the victims, their close people, medical experts and some learned may have enough understanding of the disease, VVF, we all most know that since it has to do with the virginal it is very critical and worth avoiding, controlling , or curing, as possible. Why then, Should some people fail to consider the well being of the young girl and risk their health by making them liable to becoming victims of VVF? No good reasons for this other than selfishness, Wickedness and heartlessness. Even in slavery, this was extremely unpleasant, infact, not practiced, and only in slavery can people be treated against their comfort, according to the owner’s wish. Children are not commodities, they are not disposable valueless-valuables, but assets worth protecting no matter their sex. Nevertheless, if we base this issue on sex, I think children now, do become ‘baby mothers’. Before 18, many doors are broken, many treasure are stolen, many valuables are washed or burnt off by employing culture or science, quack or expert, and many lives are wasted even among the civilized ones who even think that ‘Play safe’ is more pleasant to say than ‘Abstinence is the best’ or ‘Abstain till then’. Many underage now taste sex, I care not to say enjoy sex, because pleasure is not the same as joy or happiness. Many or some have children while they (the new mothers) are still children. So, let not the pot call the kettle black. So therefore, the fact is that marriage is beyond sex and child bearing, it’s a commitment and a responsibility. It is a union of mature and compatible minds-Adult and not babies, not teens, not girls, but for women (A man with a woman) for the joy and comfort and peace of both partners. Child Marriage affects mostly the female (and the poverty stricken frustrated parents). So it is still an aspect of the mny evils of ‘a blind patriarchy system’ which still sees female as a property just for man comfort. But none so deaf as those who will never hear. And forbidden fruit tastes sweetest especially to the tongue of the greedy. The case of Nigeria is critical For there may be accident so fatal For she is being driven by the willful deaf Write, speak, shout and cry to the ears of the deaf And if voices and songs catch no attention Tapping, touching, pulling, and pushing will be the resolution Soon, soon and so soon Nature will proffer solution very soon. The Bible says ‘Children are the heritage from God’ (Psalm127:3) and happy is the man who has his quiver full of them (Psalm 127:5). Proverb 22:6 command parent to trained their children in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. Apart from Miriam, a prophetess, Deborah, a prophetess, (and reasonably, a warrior), Huldah, a prophetess, Anah, a prophetess, Phoebe, a Deaconess, there was Rhoda or Dorcas who was so caring in her time and influenced many lives. She was valuable beyond the kitchen. Yet we can say that Abishag was very young when brought to David the king. She was not a girl but a maiden, the kind that can be married and yet the king did nothing with her. Child Marriage is a crime to humanity. I refuse to discuss this issue as if we are copying the western world or the so civilized and pestering world. For if we reject child marriage because they did, rather than because of the evil there in, we might as well have to accept day marriage. So it is not as if their system is the best. Our refusal of child married is not just because some other worlds refuse it but because of the evil in it. Evil is evil. Child marriage is evil and nothing but evil. If we discuss the issue according to custom or culture of some people and conclude that it must be allowed, why did we not allow human sacrifice even though it used to be part of the custom of some people. Many Nigerians have spoken against child marriage for example Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin said that the resolution on child marriage violated decency. If a region doesn’t want to change and accommodate peace of all and comfort for all, then why do we stick to federal system of government and not confederal system of government? Most women who support this act do so because they are (made to be) inure to the system and intellectually weakened or oppressed by the selfish rich men of their society. Child marriage is a crime to childhood, womanhood and humanity. It is not as if the marriable or the mature are finished or scarce, it is not as if the underage will not attain the proper age so what is the essence of child marriage? KUYE SAMUEL O. I don't know why we think this way. We don't even know the govt. Is drianing the country dry at all, they spend profligately and their allowances- sometimg else. Now I just want to be curious about' enhancing internally generated revenue of universities' hmmm, it means a lot. |

Well, child marriage affects only the girls. It is another insult on womanhood and humanity. As far as marriable maidens are not scarce or finished, this issue can never be rational or reasonable. If not wickedness, how can we ignore medical implications such as VVF or RVF. Female are not just for man's comfort. They are not just man's property but a helpmate, a companion, a partner- when proper. |
I think Aisha was married at 6 and tasted at 9. So let's not blame the man. I tink we must stop religious provocation. At least we have Muslims saying it's an evil act. Let's allow peace |

THE QUESTION for NIGERIA On first looking into Soyinka’s OperaWonyosi When Chris Anyokwu opened my inner eyes My mind reviewed the past and sneezed contingencies Then I saw thick shroud on the sky, And reddish-brown mud-brick houses in the jungle Near a big flowing River from which they glorify as Riveria, Where eagles and ponderous horses worship. The Riverians are many and strong. They luxuriate in pomp and pageantry of boom and gloom And smile at the quotidian tidings of impunitive looting. The birds cluck, frog and sheep croak, doves bark, bat meows, Pejoratively celebrating mutual richness and poverty, Suspiciously gibbering the differences Of the venerable but venial merger. The wingless eagle hovers in the lush flashing of lightning. The ligament is decaying, and the plumage isdropping, The horse is crawling, and the eagle is tumbling, TheRiverians are howling, and the rodents are flying higher. The lizards now have hideout in the cracks of the houses; Many things are wrong but we knowingly refused toknow. All the little the eagle and the horse have to boast of Are mainly what the alien lords And indigenous undesirables offered The peacock and ostrich radiate In megalomania and kleptomania- Avarice for muscle and gold. The snake swallows two hundred fowl golden-eggs, And is respectably pacified to vomit five and go free, Yet they are debtors of eggs to the sea, Borrowed for body building in abstraction. The land is blessed with profitable palm tree But they bring oils from the seas. Railways make history, roads make pity, And theirhope of health is in herbs. Have they not learnt? Painful scabs of their 1967- injury of three moons remain unfixed Yet the ostrich and the peacock are pegging stakes Of the fulfillment of prophetic rumours of individualism The lions and vultures are anticipating fortune with zeal To feed on the misdemeanours of The ostrich-the misfortune of the Riverians If the Mephistophelian initiate havoc They will hide allover the seas while others ruin Do they not disappear to the seas whenever headache winks? There is a thick shroud in the cloud If it rains thunder will strike What does the pendulum hold? What does the River keep for the eagle and the horse? Nothingness in togetherness? What! by Kuye Samuel O. |
THE SWORD AND THE SHEATH The sword is sharp and the sheath is pink But they wink to connect though they may stink. So they must to think That they may not shrink or sink. They need to link Their lives with their dreams Their yesterday with today And today with tomorrow Then choose peace, satisfaction and life Or restlessness, condemnation and death. Unripe fruit to the lustful is sour, To the impetuous is bitter But patience and wisdom wait for the good fruit to ripe The co-existing enjoyment has lasting benefits not and not regrets. by Kuye Samuel Oladimeji |
