I just love all these Cross River and Akwa Ibom people. I can even call them xenophobic, like an average South African...if the whole Niger Delta is like the Calabar people, perhaps they could have Balkanized from this country called Nigeria...while the Calabar people don't separate them, all these Delta, Edo, Bayelsa, and Rivers will still be romanticizing the issue as if they are getting one favor or the other from cattle rearers.

Cattle breeding business is a business that can be learned in just a few months...if any state is serious about closing this niche. These businesses and all these cattle rearers in different territories in the southern Nigeria always use this to survey your land so that it will be easy for them to strike and overthrow you from your territories thereafter. ...
Don't overpraise, please. Herdsmen are in Cross River State. They've always been here. This move is simply to avoid them striking us from behind then running back into the forest bordering Bakassi and Cameroon. The government is trying to reduce their numbers in the land so we can deal with them if they attack (which I suspect they will).

Forget them saying they want to cross to Cameroon. That's a lie. The truth is that they want to consolidate with their people in remote places of the state. Those within the state as we speak are still roaming freely.

Las las, the US will only end up barking, can't bite. Nigerians, take your destiny in your own hands. No one's going to fight for you. If the US soldiers come here today (which I strongly doubt), not all will go back alive. So, don't wait for anyone to come die for you. Stand up and fight for your land; fight for your children - both alive and unborn. The k!ll!ngs must stop in our land.

Spot on. Lots of young women don't actually have an idea of what an ideal man should look like. I can't imagine the kind of kids these young parents will raise.
That's because everyone feels you don't need to learn about relationships/building a home. Most relationship/marriage problems have always been avoidable, but no one cares.

His sister wanted to wear it for a wedding. He didn’t buy it for me. He’s now really upset and has refused to talk to me for 3 days now. Our wedding is in 4 months and I am contemplating getting out of such a relationship. Please advice
Don't do it. Those are your highly private stuff. If you start it, you won't like the ending. If your gut's telling you to get out of the relationship, then do it.

In this matter, your people will always record more deaths when compared to SE because you people are evil. So it's a bad thing if the US choose to help us fight terrorism, right? This is the same terrorism you've been fighting for the last 16 years. Dear President Tinubu,

No matter your accomplishments in politics and economy, if you do not fix the security issue, it would eternally mar your legacy.

You did not create the problem, but it is now your responsibility to fix it. Buhari spent time blaming Jonathan for all the problems and did not fix security for which he was elected.

You talked about forest guards, where are they?

We have an army of retired security personnel, where are they? We have Amotekun in the southwest. Is there pervasive insecurity in the southwest compared to elsewhere?

It is time to replicate Amotekun in all states of the federation. They must be well funded. We cannot rely on the military as there is clear case of compromise with soldiers leaking information to terrorists as reported and soldiers even colluding with kidnappers and terrorists like the case of Wadume and Captain Tijani Balarabe that led to the killing of three policemen by soldiers. All state governors receive security votes. What do they do with those funds?

President Tinubu, get all state governors to propose a security framework and get legislative approval. Every terrorist arrested should be speedily tried and the minimum sentence should be suffocation by hanging and followed by cremation. If you do not solve the problem, foreign politicians and celebrities would use you to shine and mess you up permanently.

This is not a matter of propaganda and blame allocation. It is your legacy and name that is at stake. Imagine 50 years from now, children are taught that President Tinubu brought terrorism to a decisive end and set Nigeria on the path of sustainable progress. Won't your descendants be happy to read such? Imagine if they now read that Tinubu was too weak to fight insurgency. Won't they be ashamed of you?

Additionally, the project of "repentant terrorists" should be permanently scrapped. All terrorists have no business among the living.

And PLEASE, deploy soldiers to red zones and let them take out all terrorists. If you do so, they'd be too busy fighting insurgents instead of plotting coups and guarding land in Abuja. As a matter of urgency, the funding structure of the military must be reviewed. Senior security men have been reported to be diverting funds meant for paying junior officers and building big, big houses in Abuja.

Then the names of those implicated for funding terrorism, they should be exposed and tried and treated like terrorists.

President Tinubu, treat the fight against terrorism like the fight against a political opponent. Cripple them that they can never rise again, like PDP in Lagos.
This would've since been implemented if FG were not complicit. They already know all of these, but because they're complicit so they choose to suppress the truth. That's what they're seriously doing right now instead of fighting the terrorists. Once they succeed to suppress the truth and US government pays no attention to the matter, they'll now unleash the mother of terrorism against the people. Right from the start, they knew what they were doing with the repentant terrorist program. FG are the k!llers.

Well, I hope Christians in the South of Nigeria don't see the matter entirely as a Northern affair. As for Trump, truth is, Africa is a beautiful bride that the world powers find attractive. The genocide matter provides a valid reason. Who says however that military is the only way to have Trump look this way? Economic sanctions have a biting effect.
Fingers crossed!

The Nigerian government and folks sounding the same strain on the matter are playing the Ostrich. Truth is, via human and electronic intelligence the USA knows for sure that there is genocide against Christians going on in Nigeria even as we speak. We must come to the point where the genocide stops and life is live and let live so we can have peace in Nigeria. If folks who live in Nigerian south think it is a Northern Nigeria problem they had better think again! Genocide against Christians in the Nigerian North that we tolerate will find a place in the South shortly if we do nothing about it.
That's correct. But I don't think those of us in the South sees this as a Northern affair. Do you even know that they're herdsmen in the South, even down to Bakassi, a border LGA with Cameroon? These guys are just waiting for command to start attacking us. My only problem is that the US won't come here. I know Trump. He's not usually serious when it's about Africa.

Let's tell ourselves the truth.

We won Gabon by luck, also the Ref and VAR were so bias against Garbon.
My dear, we can defeat them. It's about the coach players selection and the seriousness of the players as well. Yesterday, they were serious. I believe the coach is serious too. He was smart to have benched a player like Troost Ekong (who's hardly able to differentiate between his defensive role and attacking). So I believe we'll qualify for the world. In fact, we'll beat DRC before 90 mins.

I knew it'll always come to this. They've fully unleashed their lying machines to deny the genocide going on in Nigeria. The good thing is Trump never said he's going to invade Nigeria. The man only said "move fast." The question now is: since Trump made that statement, what has the FG done apart from trying to suppress the fact that there's genocide against Christians in Nigeria? If anything, are we not having more and more attacks compared to when the issue never got the attention of the international community?
PoliticsRe: Is This All China And Others Can Do For Nigeria At This Time? by samuelson06(m): 9:52am On Nov 14, 2025
Noneroone:
Nigeria's international isolation over Christian genocide worries dailytrust. Indeed it should when you consider that Nigeria is now at the US mercy and the ability to present a strong case against the Christian genocide allegation, which it has failed woefully at doing.

US has all the facts and intelligence, UK, France and even Russia are mute which can be considered agreement with the US position. Even the Chinese who condemned US did not exonerate Nigeria over the allegations, they only warn US against using that as a pretext to move against invade Nigeria and potentially move against Chinese interests. EU too did not exonerate Nigeria by their statement and didn't condemn US threat to attack the jihadists.
Most actors within Nigeria such as Northern CAN, Benue and plateau governors, including the victims have called it genocide.

Nigeria has a very weak case and this is compounded by the fact that those in defence of government position are Muslim leaders and Islamic/Sharia groups.
It appears you're trying to side with the jihadists so they obliterate Christians from Nigeria instead of US helping us to obliterate them.
