zoedew: Well, I hope Christians in the South of Nigeria don't see the matter entirely as a Northern affair. As for Trump, truth is, Africa is a beautiful bride that the world powers find attractive. The genocide matter provides a valid reason. Who says however that military is the only way to have Trump look this way? Economic sanctions have a biting effect. Fingers crossed! |

zoedew: The Nigerian government and folks sounding the same strain on the matter are playing the Ostrich. Truth is, via human and electronic intelligence the USA knows for sure that there is genocide against Christians going on in Nigeria even as we speak. We must come to the point where the genocide stops and life is live and let live so we can have peace in Nigeria. If folks who live in Nigerian south think it is a Northern Nigeria problem they had better think again! Genocide against Christians in the Nigerian North that we tolerate will find a place in the South shortly if we do nothing about it. That's correct. But I don't think those of us in the South sees this as a Northern affair. Do you even know that they're herdsmen in the South, even down to Bakassi, a border LGA with Cameroon? These guys are just waiting for command to start attacking us. My only problem is that the US won't come here. I know Trump. He's not usually serious when it's about Africa. |

Cherrybae: DR Congo is tough. Super Eagles can't defeat them.
Let's tell ourselves the truth.
We won Gabon by luck, also the Ref and VAR were so bias against Garbon. My dear, we can defeat them. It's about the coach players selection and the seriousness of the players as well. Yesterday, they were serious. I believe the coach is serious too. He was smart to have benched a player like Troost Ekong (who's hardly able to differentiate between his defensive role and attacking). So I believe we'll qualify for the world. In fact, we'll beat DRC before 90 mins. |

zoedew: Your piece is tainted by your denial of the proven and glaring fact that there is genocide against Christians in Nigeria I knew it'll always come to this. They've fully unleashed their lying machines to deny the genocide going on in Nigeria. The good thing is Trump never said he's going to invade Nigeria. The man only said "move fast." The question now is: since Trump made that statement, what has the FG done apart from trying to suppress the fact that there's genocide against Christians in Nigeria? If anything, are we not having more and more attacks compared to when the issue never got the attention of the international community? |
Politics › Re: Is This All China And Others Can Do For Nigeria At This Time? by samuelson06(m): 9:52am On Nov 14, 2025 |
Noneroone: Nigeria's international isolation over Christian genocide worries dailytrust. Indeed it should when you consider that Nigeria is now at the US mercy and the ability to present a strong case against the Christian genocide allegation, which it has failed woefully at doing.
US has all the facts and intelligence, UK, France and even Russia are mute which can be considered agreement with the US position. Even the Chinese who condemned US did not exonerate Nigeria over the allegations, they only warn US against using that as a pretext to move against invade Nigeria and potentially move against Chinese interests. EU too did not exonerate Nigeria by their statement and didn't condemn US threat to attack the jihadists. Most actors within Nigeria such as Northern CAN, Benue and plateau governors, including the victims have called it genocide.
Nigeria has a very weak case and this is compounded by the fact that those in defence of government position are Muslim leaders and Islamic/Sharia groups. It appears you're trying to side with the jihadists so they obliterate Christians from Nigeria instead of US helping us to obliterate them. |

guest1234: 1) My family is taking it as a pain upon themselves because they know that she is taking my weakness as a strength to her because I don't talk or beat her, she has started misbehaving. This said ladies has slapped me over hundred times this year without me retaliate. 2) I started having the thought of divorce when she started misbehaving and hitting me and today when she stab me is what broke the camel back 3) No ( child) issue yet we courted for five years and the marry is one year and 8 months. So you mean you courted for 5 years, but couldn't maintain the real thing for even up to two years? That's crazy. Did she just become violent in your house or love clouded your consideration of her violent nature while courting her? What role have you played in her become hateful/violent towards you? I strongly believe you played a role in this if ever she wasn't violent during courtship. |

ElSudani: No sir, he was the one preaching hate. He used his Radio Biafra to incite hatred, he promoted bigotry. He used it encourage murder and arson. These are serious crimes and if you don't think so then you are not in any way different from him. I'm not doubting that the crimes are not serious than what Boko Haram and bandits have committed but not convicted. By the way, you don't decide what crimes are serious. The court does. And in this matter, the man has been tried in a court of competent jurisdiction and was acquitted. People like you are only sad that he was supposed to have been jailed, but wasn't and that's why you still holding him down and looking for someone that'll pronounce he's guilty and should be jailed. Once that happens, you'll be happy. That's hate, bro. You're not looking for justice. |

So someone will ask you to go dip your hand in a hot oil and you'll do same? Make it make sense. Problem is that hate won't let you guys get sense. Isn't it possible for any criminal to take advantage of the situation? Use your head abeg. A court of competent jurisdiction set him free. He should be allowed to go. Everything going on right now is born of hate and tribalism. If that guy was from the North, he'll be a General in the Nigerian army by now. |

ALTERNATEID: This is a welcome development. While Nigeria should keep engaging the US government to iron things out, we should also be discussing alliance and military cooperation with foreign powers like Russia and China. We should form alliance with Russia and China so Nigeria FG would be free to mess us up the way they want, right? What's really bad in what Trump is asking the FG to do? What good measure has the FG been taking to ensure we stamp out terrorism? Why are some of you so happy about the killings that have been going on in Nigeria? |
Politics › Re: Are You Insane? You Cannot Convict Me. I Am Nnamdi Kanu - IPOB Leader (Video) by samuelson06(m): 11:46pm On Nov 07, 2025 |
ElSudani: Justice is when you are held accountable for your actions. You can yell and rant all you like but it doesn't stop Justice from being served. How many times do you want justice to be served on one man? Was justice not served when the court set him free? Is your own version of justice all about convicting him? Once he goes to jail you'll be happy, right? Let's be human, please. |

Guestmale: Though Nigeria doesn't need invasion but we need intervention from country like America and all well meaning countries of the world to help us crush terrorists, bandits and criminal elements both in the north and in the south. Nigeria needs both invasion and intervention—invasion because a privilege few have hijacked the country and have been looting her with reckless abandon. We need a fresh start. Even without the insecurity issue, we can't go anywhere with the present configuration of Nigeria. The country is strictly for the political class right now. These guys have made life so difficult and we need a way out. |
