They numbered over 100 of them that were arrested. Remember, they wanted to pass through Cross River State to Cameroon and the state government refused them. Right now, the state is on high alert.

Don't overpraise, please. Herdsmen are in Cross River State. They've always been here. This move is simply to avoid them striking us from behind then running back into the forest bordering Bakassi and Cameroon. The government is trying to reduce their numbers in the land so we can deal with them if they attack (which I suspect they will).

Forget them saying they want to cross to Cameroon. That's a lie. The truth is that they want to consolidate with their people in remote places of the state. Those within the state as we speak are still roaming freely.
