Ekrenji: You can’t talk about jesus without talking about women. Jesus teaching and ministry involved women. He loved his mother and every woman around him He healed the woman with the issue of blood, he cast demons out of Mary Magdalene, he ministered to the Samaritan woman, he forgave the woman caught in the act of adultery, and so on!
You are even going too far. What is Christianity without marriage? Are morals not rooted in the kind of family you raised from your marriage? Why are we having kidnappers, bandits, and terrorists everywhere? Are they not coming from dysfunctional marriages/families?
Marriage is core in Christianity. It's a subject every minister of God should deal with. Fortunately and unfortunately, women have more responsibilities to marriage than a man. For example, children are more closer to their mothers than their fathers. You also need a good woman to keep the home. The moment you get it wrong with your marriage, your life becomes an unfinished business—maybe a failed one.
Helinuse: You obviously don’t know what a university is.
For you to think that some HR somewhere will overlook a UI, UNN, ABU, OAU graduate for a covenant university, means that you don’t even know what the corporate world is.
Except if you are talking about about those LinkedIn “corporate” one apartment company in Lekki or Ikeja who are referring to themselves as “startups” simply because they have some money from their parent to spend.
Go and tell Shell, Chevron, UAC, or Professors Abroad seeking for PhD Students, that you are from covenant and watch them take you for a joke.
University ranking data can settle this argument. Go check where each of these unis stand.
flokii: Maybe this will finally bring an end to night buses trooping to Lagos from one part of the country.. E lo gbe ilu yin. Yorubaland is not your London, think home, go home.
LithiumSupplier: How can you people be lying with so much confidence? Yet you complain about bad governance behind.
Why did he delete the initial letters he posted.
This was the original one he posted before deleting it.
Na God go judge una.
Are you sure you are not attaching the wrong thing? Going by what you attached, that's not Kogi letterhead. It's his personal letterhead. He's got the right to use the coat or arms as a former governor. I don't see anything wrong there.
fadre5: Site which virtually every post was made that same day, I'm a website expert, obidience
Stop shifting goalpost. You said the website was created just recently—like yesterday. I said no. Instead of you to swallow your lies, you come back calling me obedient. You guys should stop being petty. By the way, there's nothing like website expert in the tech space. At the end of the day, we'll all remain in this mess of a country together and it may even affect you far more than it affects me.
Don't expect me to support that guy. He's not improved our lives, instead he's making things difficult for us. I don't hate him in anyway, at least, he's a Southerner and I'm a Southerner too. I never expected Tinubu to be so bad than Buhari, but look at where we're today. Yet, you expect everyone to support him. No!
LibertyRep: We should be thinking of merging these non productive states instead of creating new ones.
There's no productive state in the true sense of the word. All states feed from oil money. Let them create as many as they want so the money can go around.
GEJDHERO: Your arguement does not hold water....2 wrongs cannot make a RIGHT.
Even when both wrongs can be corrected? Listen, selected justice isn't justice. It's a corruption of justice. It's a matter of time. The war isn't over yet. Victory will come.
Zuu.com! There's no time they don't feel like treating the citizens like slaves. Every little thing they're using brute force. Meanwhile, they can't do same to bandits and terrorists brandishing sophisticated weapons in public.
SpencerForbes: Now you’ve gotten me. If it is the spirit, then it’s okay. Even the Bible puts it that children are to be given milk and not meat but let it be done moderately because if it was a pagan, he’d have regarded us as liars not knowing the system. So let’s not make it kind of lawful but let’s encourage others to follow the spirit and not abuse grace which is higher than the law🥂 Shalom✌️🚶♂️
That's it. And thanks for your understanding. That's why in some churches, they don't approve children's or teenagers' church. Everyone consumes the same Word and Holy Spirit. It's such a beautiful thing that every time you're faced with a choice, you check back your spirit and act accordingly—not Isaiah says this or Matthew says that. And the more beautiful thing is that as you keep submitting to the leading of the Holy Spirit, He keeps talking to you more and more. This doesn't mean you should ditch the Bible, but at some point, even the Bible will become a part of you.
SpencerForbes: What’s the meaning of your first statement 😏 I’ll let that slide. Now let’s argue like people with intellects. When Christ came, he came because the law wasn’t perfect. The law was made to punish sinners but when Christ came, he summarized everything into two which are based on love. Jesus never focused on making more laws. That was why he had issues with the pharisees. Even when the adulterous woman wanted to be punished, he restricted them teaching us not to focus on laws.
After Jesus left, the apostles wanted to carry on but there were debates btw the apostle and Paul which brought our mission statement. “ the just shall live by faith.” They never focused on the laws and the debate ended.
Now the Romans came and saw uncivility among the people and wanted to curb it. Then they made rules to govern the people and it’s good. But the next gen now took it as divine laws which they were not so instead of we having Christian “laws” 👆 we are suppose to have Christian doctrines and guidance concerning marital sex and not laws. Cos laws bring punishment. We should all stop using fear tactics to convert people. Tell them the truth so when they bring arguments like this, you won’t have to use your first statement to debate them cos that sounded so uncivilized. Those rules are guidances and doctrines and not generally laws Shalom 🥂
Well, I'm sorry about that statement. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to create any form of law around marital sex. I don't even want to go into religion or theology. However, one thing is clear: Christ never came to abolish the law, and at the same time, grace is not to be abused.
Many of us hide under grace and mercy to do abominable things. That's wrong. Christ came with the Holy Spirit to guide us against the law or sin, but many of us don't even listen to the Holy Spirit and also don't want to be judged with the laws. Instead, we want to hide under grace that's associated with the Holy Spirit and commit sin that we are supposed to be punished with the law. Does that make any sense?
For example, the Holy Spirit can't teach you anal sex or bestiality when the virgina and the woman is right there for you. He can't approve a woman for another woman when the woman was made for the man and the man made for the woman. He can't teach you to chain or tie a woman to the bed or something to sleep with her because there's no place in the Bible that condemns that. So don't say because it's not written in the Bible you should go overboard. The Holy Spirit is bigger than the Bible yet we don't listen to Him.
So this is what I'm talking about. It has nothing to do with trying to sell fear to people but charging them to listen to the inner voice in them that tells them the truth about their choices. That's bigger than reading Bible pages. That's God in you. And by the time you begin to go overboard because the Bible isn't explicit on those actions or choices, then get ready for repercussions. This is my position.
SpencerForbes: Gave it to who?? The same Bible that stated we should judge not Or are we Pharisees 🤔 🚶♂️
Don't be unfortunate. Your conscience is your sit of judgment. If you've got to a level that your conscience can't talk to you, that's too bad. Also, I don't really know what's your understanding of judgment. Well, every time you decide in your heart to take a position about an issue, that's judgment. Judgment isn't necessarily a misfortune coming to someone as a result of a wrongdoing they committed, but also your power to judge or decide on a matter.
Orlandoo: Imagine how a rich old man is dragging himself with a teenager in public?
It's okay if you don't like the man, but stop this sh!tty claims of Regina being a teenager. It appears you don't even know who's a teenager. Is Regina even below 20 years old, let alone being a teenager? FYI, Regina is a full-grown adult.
Have you not seen that God always comes after we sin? They had finished having sex before God came.
And they were not living that way for we can all see that God usually comes to visit them and clearly did not run away from Him. .. until that day.
The Bible isn't saying that. The interesting thing is that the Bible is very explicit about the forbidden fruit, and it has nothing to do with sex or anything close to that. So where are you getting this from? You seriously think it's sex that made them naked when God called Adam?
SpencerForbes: Yeah he gave us brains and I appreciate but my problem is why make a human law sound divine by instilling fear🤔
We all have conscience. Tell us to our face that this thing is here so we don’t behave like the barbarians and uncivilized but trying to make it seem like it was said by Paul is wrong. Call a spade a spade 🚶♂️
I never said said Paul said this or that. I said God gave us the power to judge our actions so He won't be seen as bad when He judges us because we refused to first judge ourselves right. I don't threaten people with fear. If you let your conscience guide you right, that should be enough.
Only to see that other people had found same even before me
I'm not aware the forbidden fruit is what you call it. What makes you feel they were having sex before God came calling them? What if they were living that way until their trouble with the serpeant came?
SpencerForbes: But it can record all others. Even the downfall of sodom and Gomorrah and even revelations of things to come. My question is did this sin start today🤔 were this sin not done in the time of Egypt, sodom and Rome🤔 While the book of deut. explained and amplified the 10 commandments, why didn’t it touch it Wasn’t this sin done in Rome, why didn’t Paul write about it?? 🚶♂️
Human beings are always in the habit of questioning God, and they always pay for it. I don't know why God gave you a brain. My joy is that our conscience always tells us when we are about to do fulish things so we could judge our actions because God judges us. So feel free, go ahead and do what you want, but be rest assured that you'll pay for your actions.
God is not concerned about how married people are enjoying their sex. If you want to say a particular sex pattern is bad, then give a tangible reason why, and stop bringing God into it
Do everything in a manner that glorifies God. You don't expect the Bible to document how we should live from A-Z. That's not possible. And that's why we have the power of discretion—everyone of us have it. It's that inherent ability in us to make choices based on what's right or wrong.
So if you feel anal sex, bestiality, and the rest fulish sexual practices are right, go ahead. No one's going to stop you. But one thing is clear: they'll be repercussions.
Dtruthspeaker: Christianity started with Christ and it is Christ Who created us, so Christianity started before sex.
And do note, since marriage is done at the permission and Blessing and Celebration of the parents, Adam male and female broke The Law by having sex before their marriage.(fornication)
Adam had sex before marriage? Where's that in the Bible?
In 6months time ,that fountain will be the main refuse dump.
FYI, Aba is very clean right now. There are road sweepers all over the place. There are even dumpsters produced by students of Onu Polytechnic all over the place. Waste management in Aba is perfect right now.
@bolded: I'm not sure you stay in Aba or Abia state. Maybe someone just sent this to you to do a voice over on the video and post. For your information, there's water fountain in Osisioma flyover / Aba/Owerri road, and that's even a better one. This isn't the first water fountain in Abia state or Aba. Get your facts right.
Overtly monetizing the things of God dilute the anointing it's supposed to carry. These guys should be careful. Sometimes, they get appreciated better than being paid. Why put money at the center of something you are doing for God? How do you even make sense of paid worship or paid praise session? Such worship or praise can't rise. That's the problem because it's not offered in spirit and in truth, but offered because of the money or motivation behind it. Let's stop this.
