Primary is NOT compulsory! Parties can use any method to select her candidates. The tickets belongs to the party and the party decides how to allocate it. The party also have the power to collect such tickets and reallocate it to whoever the party wants

We the masses can force the president to do that. Instead of screaming APC or PDP, we can start hashtags, carryout protests and all what not demanding for the removal of some of the service chiefs because they have failed. What impact will the president's address have after lives have been lost? The only address that will make sense is for the president to address the incompetence of the security chiefs and welfare of the troops in the theatre. Any other thing will only be seen as politics. If he gives an address, thesame PDP calling for it will fault whatever statement he makes, people will still say "it's all talk but no action". Atleast he has taken a step by sending the MOD to Chad in order to find a way of restricting the movements of the BHT which will further stifle their operations.

The next thing I want to see is that the security chiefs have been sacked.
