IamANigerianMan:Yes dear... Nigeria can be fixed in one year... |
Corrupt people never learn... Abacha stole our common wealth and today Nigeria "cash out" from his loots... even during perilous times as covid... Let all corrupt workers know that they will restitute willingly or not... in four folds... To the corrupt leaders... keep looting the treasury and continue to use your energies to build "high walled castles".. very soon Nigerians will find rest from the recovered wealths... |
Good work Dangote... Kudos... Thank GOD for this milestone... |
I see no sense in slamming charges and fines on global online platforms... while Nigerians enjoy her benefits of free access.., If an online platform offers free access to it's servers... doesn't bully or support such... not a threat to national security... her corporate home country not having dispute with Nigeria... then slamming huge fines are baseless... Actually I don't see valid points in the charges laid against Meta... |
Happy Birthday Seun... Good job done through Nairaland... Nairaland has been a wonderful Nigerian online town hall meeting forum... well moderated... Wishing you the best ALMIGHTY GOD has for you in the years ahead... ![]() |
AImoneyAdder:Thanks for your response... Actually, the solutions to be offered are quite elaborate and can not be exhausted in writing... They are better actualized than discussed... Agriculture... Security... Healthcare... and many more... are the "others" I did mention that will be shared in due course... But for some reasons I would only discuss on the desired results not the process to achieve them... 1. With regards Agriculture, one of the approaches is to create a mutual framework to encourage communities with vast "non-urbanized" lands to "long-lease" their lands to organizations... for commercial husbandry and plantations... 2. To improve internal and external security, one of the approaches is to ensure true Justice is served and reform the security agencies formation... (I won't share further on this aspect than this...) Please I am open to further inquiry on what I can offer... You can also specify aspect of our country you do want to know my solutions... (except for issues on security and international politics)... |
AImoneyAdder:By GOD's grace... solutions I offer are realistic and beneficial both for resolving immediate and long term issues... Here are some, summarized in points:.. 1. Resolve electricity issue by full and liberal privatisation. I mean registered companies can generate, transmit, and distribute electricity within a territory, whether as alone or within competitors zone. 2. Every government agency must buy products or service made in Nigeria. Exception would exist if such item is no longer produced locally. Purchasing imported item by any Nigerian government agency would be term ultra vires. This would strengthen industrilization. 3. Stop multiple taxation by utilizing the local government to collect taxes, which would be paid into the single TSA. Sharing formula will also be reviewed to include local government in allocation, so that grassroots projects are catered for. 4. Decommission all previous national awardees, then award national honours to deserving individuals or groups. This is one of the approaches of crushing corruption. 5. Overhaul the constitution, this action is wide and elaborate. Others will be shared in due course... |
The ethical rules of engagement for government security forces demand that the institution and her personnel remains neutral while managing internal conflicts... Yale was right inviting the Police.. while the staff should have ensured orderliness while protesting... But Nigeria Police trigger happy attitude should cease... other better options like the use of teargas, water cannon, loud speakers, or immediately inviting both parties key persons to the station for dialogue... would have prevented the death of a breadwinner.. |
I am available... |
The root of this arrogance is because Nigeria is governed as one country with 2 constitution systems... that's the normal constitution operating alongside sharia law... Justice never exist in a system applying double or multiple standards... It's time we trash the sharia law in Nigeria... and restore Justice, equity, and sanity in Nigeria... Even if the sky will fall... let it be... True Justice needs to take root in Nigeria... |
The purchasing power of Naira has really crashed... and it seems no big deal to Nigerian government leaders... They should not quickly forget the common adage... a hungry man is an angry man... In this present case... it is a case of hungry men doing their best to be calm... but till when?.. Unity and Justice = Peace and Progress... |
Wicked acts like this shouldn't go unpunished... There shouldn't be sacred vows whether individuals nor groups... To build a sane environment of justice... Security agencies and the Judiciary shouldn't spare the perpetrators... |
If given the opportunity to be in Aso Rock... by GOD's grace... I know I would positively transform Nigeria... We have had series of bad episodes of hardened hearts leadership... |
The fact of the matter is... can the proposed salary increment by paid be the present Nigerian government... Yes it can... But this path is not a positive indicator of progressive growth in economy... If all levies and taxes... all goes to the national treasury... and not siphoned by touts nor government officials... then we can have a robust economy... Also as the topic emphasized... some of the loopholes for excessive spendings by the Nigerian government include: a. Two arms of legislators b. Unnecessary creation of new states... whereas some existing states can't fund or complete a good road construction within a month... Truly Nigeria needs a positive restructuring... |
Frequent and sporadic increments in civil servants salaries is not a viable solution... what should be more pressing on the desk of any Nigerian President should be to retrace Naira forex value... I mean NGN1 = USD$1... then a living wage and sustainable revenue can be achieved... |
It so disheartening to know that the national and state water board can't map out locations in Nigeria where reasonable clean water pipeline projects should be executed... Very sad to here people die because of no access to clean water within their communities... Nevertheless can't the government offer zero percent (0%) tax and levy on factories producing sachet and bottled water as a subsidy to ensure clean portable water... This will pacify the issue... while we await the big projects... |
Kidnapping is same as man-stealing... So a kidnapper is a man-stealer... according to the Holy Bible... Kidnapping will cease in Nigeria when every kidnapper knows nothing else but death sentence await such... I commiserate with Mr Fouani... and pray for his speedy release... |
Pls let the cartoons reflect not only the negative issues... but also the positive solutions to our common existence... |
Well said... Justice Yusuff have said his fact... But the truth remains that the reason why any man get disappointed is when he place his total confidence on men... Nigerians erred by placing their total confidence in the judiciary... even with the slogan "all eyes on the judiciary".. Rather the right thing to do is to place ''all eyes"... all confidence on ALMIGHTY GOD... then GOD will use means beyond our imaginations to achieve HIS good will for our country NIgeria... The HOLY BIBLE gives the history account of a man called Mordecai... whose niece named Esther was the crowned queen of an empire... then when the oppression of his kinsmen would lead to their destruction... He gave a great counsel to Esther that if she would not be of help at such a time as then... then help will come from somewhere else... but his and the kinsmen trust will be totally on GOD and not on her... Well for those who know the result... it became a testimony of victory... All hope is not lost... the case will be moved to the Supreme Court... I see the presidential election result of February 2023 nullified... a fresh election declared... an interim government formed headed by H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo... INEC leadership under H.E. Goodluck Jonathan... and then?.. In summary it is vain to put your confidence in man... put all confidence in GOD... Stay blest Nigeria... and Stay calm... |
To know about the Ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT... and the Gifts HOLY SPIRIT... first you need to be Born Again... John 3:16 The HOLY SPIRIT also bears the title 'GOD'... because HE is the THIRD in the TRINITY...1 John 5:7 For the believer the first impact of the HOLY SPIRIT is to bring repentance through the conviction of sins...John 16:8 The Fruit of the HOLY SPIRIT is the expected evidence of being Born Again in every believer... Galatians 5:22-23 While the Gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT is the Spiritual impartation to enable a believer perform extraordinary acts to enhance the impacts of the Gospel to both the believers and the non-believers... Acts 1:8 Although, many Preachers have assumed that Speaking in Tongues (other unlearned languages) is the initial proof of receiving the Power or Gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT... that is not in all the cases correct... below are some of the following Biblical reasons... 1. The HOLY SPIRIT has been there from the beginning... and have been effective in all named Biblical heroes of Faith... Hebrews 11 2. Some believers received the HOLY SPIRIT without Speaking in unlearned Languages... such as Paul... Acts 9:17,18 3. The Bible clearly states that not all believers that have received the Power of the HOLY GHOST can speak in tongues... 1 Corinthians 12:28-31 |
If it happens that GODs will... brings forth an Interim Government within this Nigeria political timeline... I would say... former President Olusegun Obasanjo should be the Leader... He is better poised to manage aggressive titans... Truly at this moments... Nigeria deserves better than this.... Let's keep Praying and expecting... |
Although these may have been the case with past elections... this recently concluded Presidential election held in February 2023... have no good legacy to leave behind... nor hope for the good of Nigeria future... We can upturn event by speaking and acting without violence... Let the Nigerian Judges know that they stand to uphold true justice... or justice will come from outside... Let's remember Senator Ekweremadu... the justice averted in Nigeria... is being served in a distant land... today he stands as a scape goat... tomorrow many of the wicked corrupters will have similar fate... Let's be wise... Yes... I do support the cry for justice against the wrong doings of the present INEC chairman... and recommend the appointment of former President Goodluck Jonathan... as the interim INEC Chairman... I am of the opinion that... although an interim government may seem as an option... but it could be bloody tenure... due to power tussle amongst the titans... Rather... President Muhammadu Buhari... within this tenure.. can sincerely interfere... by calling for another election... where the Presidential candidates have a second chance to prove if they are accepted by the masses.. . Alternatively... the Supreme Court can nullify the just concluded Presidential election... and issue order for a fresh Presidential election... The life and expectations of Nigerians lies in who would then emerge as the then elected Nigerian President... |

The name of Jesus mysteriously written in the sky by an unseen hand in Florida, USA yesterday. Be prepared! Please behave good and love others. You never know when Jesus coming soon. With the on-going events in Nigeria's politics, it is clear that the Abuja Peace Accord, and other negotiations, may not produce a peaceful election, as expected. This implies that whether PDP or APC lose, aggrieved supporters will go to the streets. This, however, negates the principle of democracy, which is the people's choice; and not a clash of titans. Knowing fully well that the youths form the higher percentage of the populace, who, eventually, will be implicated in the violence. I believe it is time, we the youths, re-write our story; by choosing and voting into power a neutral (non-partisan) youth, as our Presidential Candidate. We may not have the financial muscle, but our unity of purpose will ensure INEC accept our candidature, win the election, and avoid aftermath of violence. Let work together.
