Another show of uncaring attitude of present leaders...

It makes no sense when several companies in Nigeria are diligently innovating ways to solve the inadequacies of the government... and all the government remembers is to mount levies for these innovative solutions...

Testimonies from other countries showed that not just the federal and state governments... even the local government is interested to support every new and existing industry within its domain... because that is the solution to employment and tax generation... but the contrary is what happens here in Nigeria...

Things have to change...

Funny but another heartless policy... the Nigerian masses are suffering from hardship which have affected costs of feeding and transportation... then now taxing land owners would have negative and increased impact on house rent...

I am of the option that if the present government doesn't have healthy policies to offer... then let them bow out of office...

Friend... gambling does no good... it over hypes an imaginary quick profit... but hides the fact that the victim will lose all his possession in a moment... Decent men don't do gambling... If you can't earn it by hardwork or favoured gift... then don't lose the ones you have while attempting to gamble...

You are not the first person I have met in this state... I have met about 2 persons attempting suicide because of gambling... The best counsel I give that had helped them is... you need GOD touch in your life... that's becoming born again... and following the path of JESUS...

Gambling addiction is life long... except with divine intervention...

Regarding my topic above. I'm 44yrs old and since I know myself very well as a child starting from IBB regime. I have noticed that any new president or military ruler is worse than the one he collected power from.

Now let me start from the IBB tenure, at least from 1990 till 1993 he relinquish power I was above 10yrs and knew myself, surrounding and what's happening in Nigeria very well.
If we're to give IBB pass mark, to me he got 60/100 in terms of things going well for the average man. Even though some people still grumble about the economics and all which I believe is normal.

In come Abacha, few months into Abacha's administration people starts missing IBB including those that complain against him.
As months turn to years we started getting used to Abacha's regime, things were going fine except that you don talk anyhow or criticize the regime else you'll be missing and sometimes declared dead. And majority of the people that kicked against Abacha then are the people ruling us now and impoverishing us. So back then, their complaint were just for their selfishness and personal gains.
Not that Abacha didn't do well just that as a military regime you don't have freedom of speech.

In comes Obasanjo, months into his regime which was a Democratic one, few people here and there started missing Abacha and the military, though it wasn't loud that much. But in subsequent years people began talking about Abacha in terms of things being good economically. But without mincing words, Obasanjo too tried his best and things were somehow ok.

In comes Yar Adua. I have to be honest here, I was in my late 20s and fully matured, but up til now I can't say if I should give Yar Adua pass mark or not. It was as if I wasn't in existence cuz till now I can't pinpoint how people rated Yar Adua, maybe bcuz he ruled for a short time. But the truth is I don't know how to rate him, but generally things and the economy was also somehow good.

In comes Jonathan, hmm.... Jonathan also tried his best. But it was in his tenure corruption and stealing of money rose so high. Now I'm not saying other past administration they wasn't corruption or stealing or embezzling of money but, it became rife and more pronounce during GEJ tenure.
And the irony of it all is that, GEJ himself wasn't the one doing most of the stealing and embezzlement (not that I'm exonerating him from it too) but his appointees, ministers and those who surrounds him including his wife where the ones stealing and spoiling the name of his administration.

Before I continue, I want to let you all know that my initial comparison between this past leaders was based on just economy and how things are going well for the common man. If things are going well for the common man, which I believe we all know carries the majority, then every leader under such circumstances is doing well in their eyes and there'll be no much complaint and grumbling.

But in GEJ's time things were going fine economically, but the pronouncement and outcry of the elites and media houses about serious corruption and embezzlement got to the masses (common man) and they started thinking they deserves more than they are getting currently then.
This are the main reason APC with their "Change Mantra" got to almost 80% of Nigerians. People started having enough of Jonathan and PDP in particular. Majority of the outcry then was let us even taste another party.
I for one, the first and only time I voted in my 44yrs of existence was in Jonathan's first election seeking to be permanent president after serving out Yar Adua's 2 remaining yrs.
And I voted for him.

Fast forward to 2015, I too started agreeing with people that wanted change. And I can swear with my life that majority of us that later criticize Buhari and now Tinubu also wanted that change of person and party.
Not that Jonathan did badly o, but people just wanted a change of party and it's not their fault cuz the corruption and embezzlement under him gave the opposition party what to campaign with and people bought into their vision.

In comes Buhari, initially things started looking as if they were about to improve but in a drastic change of event it just went downhill and worse. In my whole existence I used to say I haven't seen a president abused and cursed so much by the populace like Buhari. Even children of 5yrs and above knew and heard of Buhari bcus the hardship got to their parents and their parents complaint which many at times brought up Buhari's name made them know Buhari was our problem. So both children, teens and adults insults and cursed the living daylight out of Buhari.
Honestly, if our curses and swear were effective Buhari would have been dead by now. It even made some people said they can never be any president worse than Buhari.
I rmbr telling some people that cares to listen then, that we haven't seen worse yet. That they should watch out for the next president.
And when I told them to watch out for the next president, I didn't single out anybody.
I just feel the next president whether it be from PDP, APC, LP or whatever will make us rmbr Buhari and I wasn't proven wrong cuz it has been the re-occurring theme ever since I know myself in this country.

My final conclusion is that day, as Nigeria is today. I haven't seen any messiah yet and what I can tell people is whatever you're doing don't relent, continue pushing hard. With or without the government, if you will succeed you will succeed.
This are just my own opinion and observation about the Nigeria state. You all are free to counter or support my opinion.

There is no genuine basis for arming FRSC personnel... they are and remain a Safety Unit for road users....

The core functions of FRSC should be ...

1. Registering and maintaining database of road users (of which the Police is trying to covet with unscrupulous charges...)
2. Detect, report, and remove hazards from the road... including reporting of potholes...
3. Maintain an emergency health wing... and train road users on basic first aid...
4. Assist states in road traffic decongestion...

Hence... giving a FRSC official a gun to discharge his duty... is likened to giving a classroom teacher a gun rather than a cane because few students are naughty...

Be Born Again... that's what I can say to Nigeria @ such a time as this...

Thank GOD... the present sufferings are due to man-made actions... not divine calamities...
If today I emerge as Nigeria President... my performances will immediately halt the suffering caused by the leadership poor economic policies and citizens collective corruption... then induce progressive policies for our common wealth and wellbeing...

What we need presently in Nigeria is "Wealth Creation Initiatives"... not "poverty alleviation programs"...
This has been the difference between us Nigeria and other wealthy nations like Switzerland, Luxembourg, Singapore...
While they were "planting good policies as trees" that would span for generations... we are "planting seeds of discord as grains" that would yield short term selfish benefits...

Nigeria can work again... even better... what we need is a right Leader... I am available to lead Nigeria...

The contract was endorsed in 2010... and no development was done apart from perimeter fencing until 2016... definitely the expectations of Nigerian government... and the clauses in the legal document should have stated the maximum timeframe for job completion and extension... Even Dangote Refinery shared updates on construction development phases...

From available information... the supposed compensation amount is due to contract termination... not refund of investment made... if the company couldn't establish the facility within 6 years... then they were merely wasting Nigeria time... and hindered other more serious investors...

If this oppression succeed other foreign parties would come into Nigeria.... do shady jobs... then ask for compensation...

In as much as Nigeria has a present issue of leadership flaws... I think our individual patriotic passion should overwhelm this foreign manoeuvres... Because ever kobo used to repay this legal charge would come from our collective taxes...

Actually, the solutions to be offered are quite elaborate and can not be exhausted in writing... They are better actualized than discussed...

Agriculture... Security... Healthcare... and many more... are the "others" I did mention that will be shared in due course...

But for some reasons I would only discuss on the desired results not the process to achieve them...

1. With regards Agriculture, one of the approaches is to create a mutual framework to encourage communities with vast "non-urbanized" lands to "long-lease" their lands to organizations... for commercial husbandry and plantations...
2. To improve internal and external security, one of the approaches is to ensure true Justice is served and reform the security agencies formation... (I won't share further on this aspect than this...)

Please I am open to further inquiry on what I can offer... You can also specify aspect of our country you do want to know my solutions... (except for issues on security and international politics)...

What Are The Kind of Transformation You Would Make For Nigerians If Given The Chance To Become The President of Nigeria Today ?

By GOD's grace... solutions I offer are realistic and beneficial both for resolving immediate and long term issues...

Here are some, summarized in points:..

1. Resolve electricity issue by full and liberal privatisation. I mean registered companies can generate, transmit, and distribute electricity within a territory, whether as alone or within competitors zone.
2. Every government agency must buy products or service made in Nigeria. Exception would exist if such item is no longer produced locally. Purchasing imported item by any Nigerian government agency would be term ultra vires. This would strengthen industrilization.
3. Stop multiple taxation by utilizing the local government to collect taxes, which would be paid into the single TSA. Sharing formula will also be reviewed to include local government in allocation, so that grassroots projects are catered for.
4. Decommission all previous national awardees, then award national honours to deserving individuals or groups. This is one of the approaches of crushing corruption.
5. Overhaul the constitution, this action is wide and elaborate.
Others will be shared in due course...

The ethical rules of engagement for government security forces demand that the institution and her personnel remains neutral while managing internal conflicts...
Yale was right inviting the Police.. while the staff should have ensured orderliness while protesting...
But Nigeria Police trigger happy attitude should cease... other better options like the use of teargas, water cannon, loud speakers, or immediately inviting both parties key persons to the station for dialogue... would have prevented the death of a breadwinner..

The root of this arrogance is because Nigeria is governed as one country with 2 constitution systems... that's the normal constitution operating alongside sharia law...
Justice never exist in a system applying double or multiple standards...
It's time we trash the sharia law in Nigeria... and restore Justice, equity, and sanity in Nigeria...
