I received this text on 30/10/13. The issue is that am a Bs.c holder and I don't know the position am been recruited for or who my recruiter is. Any idea?

Is there still hope for customer service?

The word of God is most powerful. It lives and is unlimited just like God. It is a spy agent for the fellow who knows how to use it well. If there is one weapon that the enemy can't resist, it is the word of God, yet often times, it appears the word does not work, is God a liar or what is wrong? There are a few instances where the word of God may not work.

The first is during a trial of faith situation. While undergoing a trial of faith, the word of God is suspended for that individual or else he or she can never successfully go through the trial. For instance, during a trial of faith that borders on your finances, no matter how sin free, God-pleasing, or Heaven-bound you are, even if you pay your tithes regularly, at that trial period, it may not stop the devourers from devouring, and your promised blessing may be kept in abeyance. But after the trial period, your pending blessings will be delivered. Do not think you have lost such blessings during your trial period? They are only reserved, to be delivered after the trial.

Another situation that may hinder the working power of God's word is when it is not skilfully employed. According to today's reading, if you are applying the milk of the word when strong meat or bones of the word is what you require to handle a situation, it will fail to deliver the result. For instance, if you are reciting the Lord's Prayer during a time of need, instead of applying this prayer model and specifically asking for your need to be met, you may not have your desired answer. Or if you ask God for something without backing it up with relevant promises documented in the Bible, He may not answer you. It is not your prose in prayer that compels God into action, but His word that you send back to Him. Even when He does not want to grant the request for your sake, He would be compelled to do so for the sake of His integrity. A believer died and went to Heaven. He was so happy to make it and to see all that God had for him. But at some point, Jesus came to him to say, even though He would want him to stay on, yet He has to release him because some brethren were asking for his resurrection and that they were standing on God's word. So the Lord said He had no choice but to honour His word. The brother returned to his body where they were praying at his hospital bed. Boy he was sad and angry.

Another situation is making requests while you are living in sin.


Check your life and find out in what ways you have made the Word to fail concerning you. Repent and make it work from today.

Oh! God of Host, the creator of the universe, as I join my faith with your son and daughter let their miracle manifest. B'cos You said; "whatever we agreed upon in your name with faith that you will grant them and that all you need from your children is happiness." just to add a few cents

If it is possible and if permitted, it is preferable that you save your cv in pdf format. The reason why sometimes candidates dont get a response is that, your well prepared cv could appear messed up on the other side because of Microsoft office compatibility, fonts etc (some PCs dont have the font used for the cv and so will either distort the cv or wont open at all). While I agree that the standard presentation of a cv should be in Arial or Times New Roman, sometimes, some other fonts make could make your cv appear better and cleaner. That was when I changed my approach. When I used pdf, the CV will appear EXACTLY to the recruiter the way I prepared it.

Secondly, since last year, I have decided that my cv will never exceed 1 page. It took me weeks to summarize everything about myself to be able to fit into a single page. There are too many cvs to peruse, so what are the chances that the recruiter will scroll down. I decided to help them simplify their jobs. However, your 1 page CV MUST be ON POINT - neatly laid out, not cramped, and must give a concise summary of you background and your experience. Remember whatever you write must be relevant to the NEED of the recruiter.

What I shared above actually did improve the responses I have gotten since I decided to.
Remember, finding a job is a job in itself.

assalaamat: You're definately expected to send both ur cv and a cover letter whether they ask for it or not,it's a letter that indicates your interest in a job and it must not contain your address,u'll only start with sir/madam on the top left- hand corner,followed by the body and normal letter conclusion,do not write any heading i.e "Application For the Post of........",these are the differences b/w a cover letter and an application letter.They must definately be sent via attachment,and the position you are applying for will be the subject of ur mail.mind u,you're expected to wait at least 1week after the expiration of the job advert,except in the case of bank's&oil company's jobs,which could take at least 3-4weeks before u're contacted.I hope this helps,Good luck bro.
