@BAKAREAAT Do you have ECC 6.0? If you do, just practice with it as it is exactly the same with SAP SR on the production sites apart from data differences. If you are already comfortable on ECC 6.0 for your module then no worries at all. Cheers! |
This is a battle of 2 kingdoms (Kingdom of GOD vs Kingdom of devil) for souls, Its much more than pastor nor RCCG. In the time of Noah, There were millions of people already in the world yet only 8 were saved from the flood. If you don't believe now you sure will do one day may be after your earth life. It will pay to believe The Gospel now than later guys. Cheers! |
@mekula Are all these occupations? I hope you don't see them so, The future belogs to the honest men for real. Just a matter of time Cheers |
@Poster No two churches run exactly same structures. I advice that you check up Nairalanders that can do proper structural analysis for the church you are representing and develop accordingly. Cheers! |
I do SAP ECC 6 VMWare installation - No need to crash your machine. May be you prefer to have your SAP ECC6 on 250GB USB external Drive, holla me. SAP You rock!, Cheers |

@Thelonius You are 100% right and that's the point I have been trying to pass across. If anyone is going to be an employee, It will make good sense to plan working in the best and biggest of corporations where your pay can comfortably buy you some of the SME companies. I know we got the techies in house and I quite appreciate the pride of a coder because I code too but if someone could learn a skill that is directly in use in Shell, Exxonmobil, chevron, Total etc in just 6 months or 1 year, I believe such a person has added great value to himself in the immediate. But on a lighter note, when do you imagine that any of these companies will go down? I think it is easier for the SMEs to fold up than these multinationals. As per job security, these guys are miles ahead, for anyone of them to go down, tens of the SMEs who are surviving on them would have been long grounded. SAP remains a viable and indisputable Money Side of IT. |
I used my last card to purchase my first desktop and the book "Java How To Program by Deitel & Deitel", just practicing from one page to another, though with tears sometimes made me a thorough J2SE, J2EE tech to start with. @i-Guru Go get that 4 or 5 years paper please. Afterall, you can write your own facebook while in there if you so desire. The paper will quickly give you that opportunity every programmer/developer long for. Without the paper, you will still get there but at an age you may not like. |
Talking about MVC infers that you understand programming and development at least. I suggest you learn MVC with the technology you are most comfortable with - Java or .net The deciding factor out there is what you can do with what you claim you know. Cheers |
You guys seem to be missing the point all together. Does SAP Skills make bigger bucks or not? Google your way to the answers and also the reasons why most of the Fortune 500 run on it. Ignorance is already a thing of the past when you have access to internet. Just 30 minutes on a subject and you should come up with enough facts to deal with. See you at the conference any way. Cheers! |
@silvasurfa The exercise will be worth the while for you. Afterall, Total usually will foot your bill for honouring their invite. Cheers |
@blacksta Hardware requirement for ECC6 250 GB Hard Disk (Minimum) P4 or equivalent 2GB RAM (Minimum) Windows 2003 Server (To avoid formating your system, you can install on VMWare) Hope this helps Cheers! |
I quite agree with @gidigidi. These are facts no training center will tell anyone. Besides, CCNA reputation and usage are very great abroad but in Nigeria, MCSE still sells more in terms of job opportunities. The reasons am not too sure of since that's not where I actually play. Cheers! |

Well, when I considered being a Java Programmer, the passion was great but I had no money for the NIITs of this world not even for the road side IT schools. My good friend did the best for me. He let me pay him for his greatest Java Book. This book took me all the way from becoming a certified programmer SCJP to becoming a J2EE developer with production applications to show for it without any assistance from anyone. Use your last money to buy - Java How To Program by Deitel & Deitel (5th Edition was the best I read last at that level) if you have any money to spend at all. If you can have the commitment to follow this book, you will suprise many including yourself in few months time. Cheers! |
@adewaleafolabi Glad to know the app works. Did you find the material I sent to you useful? Cheers! |
If you are thinking of expanding your HR world, then you may explore SAP HR world! SAP HR is the hottest module of SAP next to FICO (Finance and Control) globally. If you are considering HR jobs in such places as ExxonMobil, Total, Chevron, Multilinks, Dangote etc; You may take a second look on SAP edge. For more about SAP locate this Nairaland Thread - https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-149807.0.html Cheers! |
@guru02 There can't be better explanation than Nairaland "About SAP" Thread. I wish you could have the time to go through this thread from page 1 to page 28. I actually joined from page 27 as you will discover. All you need to know are there especially the first few pages for intro and then the last few for some stunning ways you can get trained and certified without paying the millions. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-149807.0.html Cheers! |
Most valuable for me is not the usual ones everyone knows and talks about. Go get certified in one of the SAP Modules and you may get yourself where you never thought possible. My reason is that in terms of value, SAP is used only by the big corporations across the globe and more so because in Nigeria few people know about it and even fewer can afford the training hence over 90% of the Implementation, support or operations consultants are expatriates. You can do your research with these companies that are running on SAP in Nigeria - Mobil, Shell, Total, Dangote, Chevron etc; Cheers! |
@Spunk Getting certified in Financial is cool seeing that SAP FICO (Financial/Control) is currently the hottest across the globe. Below is a list of the courses in FICO. However, If you can get the SAP ECC 6.0 on your system, with these certificaton materials all you need is practice, practice, and practice. The FACT is that in all labour there is profit! If you are a good farmer, tailor, teacher etc; and can prove yourself anywhere you could make big bucks. The more opportunities our people have at their disposal the better we get. The idea is that the cost of getting trained in SAP is still too high for whatever reason and more so for the FACT that over 90% of the SAP jobs both implementation, support and daily operations are still in the hands of the expatriates. It will be worth it if we can expand SAP ecosystem in Nigeria and more people should be encouraged to take positions in the field. However, SAP users - Mobil, Total, Multilinks, Delta State, Chevron, Dangote etc; are not complaining on the cost since SAP is made for the big shots - at least a company should have above 1000 staff to think of running on SAP profitably. Cheers |
Good to know you are back. More Grace for you man! |
