Christianity and islam have many rules- many of which are outdated and senseless. Only a few religious rules make sense today.


The difference between that pythagoras theorem and religious rule is that science has expanded, tested and further applied the pythagoras theorem to different applications. Religion, on the other hand wants to remain the same- afterall, God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

The way you wrote one would think timeline was the problem. So how does christian rules affect the growth of the country? I don't mean Judaism but Christian rules.

They had no technology but they built structures that even modern day science cannot understand like those Structures in Giza? They had no science but the Pythagoras and Archimedes Principle and Euclidean Geometry is still being used today? That's not even the point.

The point is, the presence or absence of science and technology does not make them backward. Progress for a nation is more mental and spiritual than scientific. That you use a modern phone or modern car doesn't mean you are the most progressive dude in your village. If your thoughts are unsound, science or technology can't help you hide backwardness.

I'm asking how these religions did it. How is it the fault of religion that people misinterpret it? How does homophobic laws make any country backward?
