PoliticsHow IPOB Hoodlums Mistakenly Slaughtered Cows Belonging To Igbos In South-east by sarrki(op): 2:26pm On Jun 09, 2021
How IPOB Hoodlums Mistakenly Slaughtered Cows Belonging to Igbos in South-East An Anambra-based cattle dealer, Chibuike Okafor, has cried out that he has lost over 50 cows in the recent slaughter of cows by the Igbo agitators against Fulani herdsmen.

Okafor, who made this known when he met the Secretary to the State Government of Anambra State today, June 8, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, said that most of the cows in the Southeast are owned by Igbo businessmen. He said that over 50 of his cows were set ablaze by an angry mob at Kwata junction, Awka, Anambra State. Okafor said that it was wrong for the hoodlums to believe that all the cows coming to the South-East from the North belong to Northerners and must be destroyed, with little or no provocation.

“Your Excellency, I would want to tell you that almost all, if not all the cows you see in the South-East are owned by Igbo traders. What happens is that if we go there to buy the cows, we use the vehicles owned by the Northerners to bring them down here. Even some of us have our vehicles for the transportation of these cows to south east.” “We’ve had a long-time cordial relationship with them in this business. It will be wrong for our people to have wrong impression about the Northerners. They are good people generally speaking, especially in business” he said. Responding, the Secretary to the State Government assured the protection of every Nigerian in the state.

“We understand that our people hae been in a long-time cordial joint business partnership with the north in this trade and we must not destroy this relation built over the years ” he said. He assured that he would take back all the information he had gathered to Governor Willie Obiano for appropriate action. The meeting held after an angry mob set ablaze a truck transporting cattle from the north to the southeast. The mob went wild after the truck killed eight persons in an accident

Microblogging giants Twitter has expressed readiness to help Nigerians have access to the platform despite ban by the Nigerian government.

In a statement on Friday, Nigeria’s communications minister Lai Mohammed had announced the suspension, citing persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence as a reason for the suspension.

But in reaction to the country’s decision, Twitter posted on its policy handle that they would work to restore access for all Nigerians.

PoliticsWhy The Use Of Vpn To Access Twitter Is Bad by sarrki(op): 7:20am On Jun 05, 2021
Some people don't see the point of blocking tweeter because they can use vpn to connect. The funny thing is that the ban is a direct attack on twitter not you the user.

Tweeter makes money by selling your data to advertisers and God knows who else. For such data to have integrity it's important to know where it is coming from, because if you don't, you have noise in your data that affects the quality and eventually your income.

So when you use vpn, it even makes the issue worse for twitter, because what vpn does is that it reroutes your traffic through other countries, for twitter, this means that the numbers coming from other countries will be inflated and contaminated, not only did they loose Nigeria, all their data is now noisy.

This is why social media outlets put up security against vpn usage and you may get blocked for using vpn especially on twitter.

So the most viable option for twitter will be to turn off most of their security, allow the rerouted data come in and try correcting the data with past data they have risking margins of error. You know what they say, half bread is better than none, or is it?

Turning off those security is giving hackers a free invitation. It's like when someone farts in the room and you have to decide whether to enjoy the sweet smell of the farts or open the window invite zombie mosquitoes in to eat you raw and give you malaria.

This is not good for twitter, but I am loving it.
