I heard that writing IELTS with MOD IDP guarantees much better results than writing with British Council. Is this true?

Also what can you say concerning BCS diploma?

Could it have anything to do with the fact that you're uploading your statement of result instead of your certificate.
but they Accepted Statement of result, Or am i mistaken? I used Statement(Notification) of Result for mine and that of my wife and WES has stated a date for result completion for me and my wife. should be ready next week

Has your school send your document to WES?
If YES, your certificate/statement of result should be included in the document sent to them and WES will automatically upload it for onward verification by your school.
cheers..

Good morning everyone. Please I'm back with my WES wahala. My transcripts have gotten to WES and this is the second time I'm uploading my statement of results. LANDING GIST - June 16 2020

The Canadian PR journey for me had been a long and emotional draining one. I had initially planned to leave Nigeria by December 2019 or January 2020 but PPR got delayed. Finally got the PPR and COPR in February and March respectively. Initial flight was supposed to be April 26 with Egypt air before Nigeria’s airport closure messed it all. Had the opportunity to withdraw my resignation but chose not to as my soul had left the work since 2018. I was hopeful the airports will be open soon, when I heard about the planned Ethiopia air evacuation flight in May I was like nah this is too expensive and drastic. Nigeria would open in June which turned out to be another dashed hope. I began to follow updates in an Ethiopian air chartered group for the next evacuation flight as my COPR expiry was June 24. The flight plan began to drag and I began to consider going through Lome or Cotonou after someone in our PPR mentioned it. Made some calls with people in Cotonou and those who came back from China through that route, also went to maza maza and was told sienna to Lome was 50k per person. Group members I chatted were skeptical about going by road and suggested we mail Airpeace for a Chartered flight to Togo. The admins(God bless them o) began to push and follow up on the plan while we praying and hopeful. While packing my bags there was an update that the flight air peace/ET for June 11 but cancelled due to logistics issues. A new date was announced being June 15, I was skeptic about the flight at this point and resolved to go the Cotonou or Lome way if another gobe happened again. Used a list shared in telegram post PPR group to have an idea what I could take along for the journey to Canada, applied for FRSC extract, bought a few food items that would last for 14 days isolation. Converted my Pof from dollars to naira as CAD/Naira was still looking stable. After paying for the flight I had to use my pensions to balance my POF just incase they asked at point of entry o.

D day came and I left home with my Dad and brother at about 4.30 am, we got to the airport 5.am and there was already traffic and a lot of people at the airport. The queue was a long one with people shunting and jumping queue, began to rain at some point but I didn’t care much, kin sha ti japa ni koko. Check in and immigration took ages but last last I got into the plane at about 10 am. Plane took off about an hour later and we got to Lome in less than 25 mins. Spent another 1 hour on the queue for boarding formalities and we were directed to the waiting area. I was able to figure out the wifi settings for the Lome airport and people around began to come ask for the settings when they say me making calls. At this point I was hungry and thirsty and I had to buy water $4 as I had no Naira on me. I also came along with fried meat and Ponmo lol which I finished at Lome airport. On boarding the plane, I noticed the inflight entertainment was blank enquired from one of the Ethiopian air hostesses and she confirmed it wouldn’t work. Journey took another 6 hours to Ethiopia, I sat next to a couple who just dey make marriage hungry me with their lovey lovey . The food was ok and I went with beef option. We got to Addis Ababa and went through two checks. I was like kilode na. We finally boarded the plane to Canada and the long journey commenced with same food options as before. As a tall person I had difficulties sleeping as I could not bend or adjust to the tight space. I was able to sleep for 2 hours and began to watch a movie on my laptop. We finally got to Dublin after about 8 hours. Roamed my line there to update my people and also the group about our journey. Roaming cost about 2000 naira for less than 10 mins. The final Journey to Canada took about 7 hours.

Due to all the cancellations and issues some were having with Air bnb I decided to land first before book. The first set of officers we met gave us forms for quarantine address and I was like mogbe. I quickly booked and paid for and Airbnb which got cancelled before I could leave the airport.
Submitted my customs form to immigration and went to the POE queue. The officer asked how much I had and I told him $56 with the rest being in account and pensions. Asked me for an address for PR card and that was it. I felt relieved when he signed the COPR (no welcome to Canada fa) as I had been on Canada matter since 2017. Tried to book another Airbnb but most of them declined due to my recent travel history. I informed a friend whose landlord does not allow visitors past one week. I was like how I wan do this thing like this as I would have to move during isolation and risk being fined. Later got an Airbnb host who turned out to be a Nigerian but by card refused to work this time around so my friend paid for me with his card. Converted my $56 at the airport (1.16 CAD to 1 USD -rip off) and took an airport taxi for 37 CAD to my air bnb address. I had severe back ache for 2 days. I have been using Instacart and skip the dishes for groceries and food. Used my Airbnb address for SIN registration online which I got about 9 days later my mails. The Canada isolation pamphlet apparently allows you to take a stroll, I have been out twice to a nearby park/river trail. Been applying for jobs, doing online courses, learning and relearning things online. Looking forward to a good life in Canada. Since I landed my Airbnb host and my mum’s friend in Edmonton has been disturbing me to know the process for express entry as they have siblings and relatives who have tried Canada many times without luck. To them I don’t know how lucky I am to have PR. For everyone with expired COPR see you guys soon, it will end in praise last last.

Written in June and posted in another group then grin
Corona Virus Landing with a lot of Inconveniences.
Congratulations. See you in Canada soonest. Canada will work for you.

I think you can go ahead and provide the additional information via webform. I'm quite curious about the recommended interview but I'm not surprised since it's AVO. Are you married or did you adopt a child?
Is it only when someone is Married or Adopt a Child that Interview would be required or that just AVO nature?

I included my child in the application. I had the child earlier before getting married (not to the child's mother). As such, I was never married to her. They saw the mother's name on the birth certificate and noted that the name is different from that of my spouse and no divorce certificate was included in the application. Since, we were never married, there is no how I will include a divorce certificate. What do you suggest?
Seniors in the house should also assist with their opinion
And there was no LOE when you were submitting the application?

19CannyMum:
No you don't. Nigerians in Canada constantly surprise me with their kindness. So far I've discovered Nigerians go out of their way to help other Nigerians especially to settle in. They might not be able to do much, but the little they can, they will do.
Imagine, we have a lot of people(Nigerians) online giving free information to people about how they can relocate to canada. I am an example, my inlaws in Canada are really after bringing us in but we've got to do our own part too. They have helped alot of people, now it is the turn of their family. infact they are ready to explore this pathway only if it will be faster, but the Processing time is discouraging. that why we opted for the Express Entry since we have brighter chance with it.

Fine, some Nigerians can be selfish but the percentage of the selfish one in a strange Virgin land like canada is not upto 10%.

NIGERIANS WITH ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY. Thats why a lot of us are not paying Tax and want government to give us COVID palliative. i am not yet in Canada(by God's Grace, i will land next year) but based on research and what my brother tell me everyday, Canada works for open minded people.
Kekereekun123:
how many Nigerians are earning well to be able to present papers to show they can pay minimum was to home care giverhuh How many people would hire a stranger to come do such a job when they have siblings, cousins and relatives. Some also have parents who come to assist. You are being over entitled. You need to grow up

Petitemommy:
Coming to a faceless forum and asking people for the kind of help you requested is absurd.
It is not just about giving you an offer of employment just to appease someone they dont know.
Nobody wants to be on the wrong side of the law in Canada.

And because they thought of their own best interest first makes them selfish!
Have you thought about their living conditions in canada or if they meet the requirement for the program?
Do you even know if they have such plans for their own relatives?

You shouldn't sound so entitled in your quest for help.
Your reasons are valid but the way you are going on about it is not.

And nigerians in canada are very helpful. That's why you have various threads showing you how to get into canada legally.
To add to what you just highlighted, The number of Indian, Chinese and Phillipinos in Canada is X10 of Nigeria if not more, When they help their country men to come to canada, It is easily noticeable. Comepare to Nigeria that has less than 100k Population in Canada. Look at it in that other angle

The child who has age on his side plus a post graduate degree will have very high chance of getting ITA, settle in Canada and sponsor his parents.
Better still, if the parents are boxed up, there are investment routes to permanent residency in Canada, I think Quebec offers such.
.

I think what the guys is saying is that they can all go together. No that the children will sponsor later...

Good evening Seniors in the House, I overheard a conversation between an agent now and his potential client who is interested in Canada PR processing either through EE or other pathway.
The man is 55years and wife is 51 years old.
Children - 24yrs, 21yrs, 18yrs etc.
Now the agent told the man that they are not eligible due to their age but one of the Children can stand in as Principal Applicant PA especially the 24years old child, The child will be PR and after the application is successful, the father, mother and other family will be dependent.

Abeg, is this information True?
