Robert De Niro is one of my all-time greatest actors. I first came across this 80-year-old brilliant actor around 1994 when I watched “Goodfellas - 1990”. I no go lie, I could barely comprehend the movie because it wasn’t subtitled until I watched it again in 1999. Over the years, I have watched a lot of De Niro movies, but tonight, I leave you with the ones that I can never get tired of watching over & over again. 1.) Goodfellas 1990 - 9/10 “I’m like Paulie in Goodfellas, you can call me the Don”. I am not exaggerating, I have never seen anybody that watched this movie and didn’t like it. This movie is one of the reasons I adore Martin Scorsese. This movie sweet gidi-gan. 2.) Heat 1995 - 8/10 When I was in Primary School, my friends and I used to play this game called “Police & Thieves”. I always enjoyed being a thief because the Police would be chasing after us and it’s kinda invigorating. Now, this movie depicts what I just described above. If you enjoy watching “Police & Thieves” movies, trust me, you won’t regret watching this movie. In fact, this movie is rated the BEST “Cops and Robbers” movie of all time. https://m.imdb.com/list/ls062929984/ Another Cops & Robbers movie that I love so much is “The Usual Suspects - 1995, closely followed by “Training Day - 2001”. 3.) Analyze This 1999 - 8/10 This movie is like a comedy and not exceptionally good but I so much enjoy watching it. Its sequel “Analyze That - 2002” isn’t that bad as well. 4.) Casino 1995 - 9.5/10 Another masterpiece from Martin Scorsese. Gentlemen, this is “my own” best Robert De Niro movie of all time. In all the movies I keep in my archive, this movie is among my BEST TOP 5. THIS MOVIE SWEET DIE! Notable Mention: 1.) The Irishman 2019 - 8.5/10 —- I am not happy tonight because I lost someone (who is not a family member) that once touched my life in a positive way, and funnily enough, I have been moody all day. I bought a bottle of beer, it took me almost an hour to finish it. I tried watching a movie, I just couldn’t concentrate. Now, I am just lying down on my bed, fiddling with my phone, hoping sleep will come soonest. Anyways, goodnight! 5 Likes

Foreign Affairs / Re: US False Flag Attack On Red Sea Merchant Vessel Backfires by Saturnalia(m): 6:04am On Dec 25, 2023 |
The United Snakes of Taliban is known as the empire of False Flags and can never EVER be trusted in anything. 1.) Vietnam War (Gulf of Tonkin Incident) - 1964 The National Security Agency admitted it lied about what really happened in the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964 by manipulating data to make it look like North Vietnamese boats fired on a U.S. ship so as to create a false justification for the Vietnam War. 2.) Bombing of Libya - 1984 A Mossad agent admitted that, in 1984, they had planted a radio transmitter in Gaddaffi’s compound in Tripoli, Libya, which broadcast fake terrorist trasmissions in order to frame Gaddaffi as a terrorist supporter. Ronald Reagan bombed Libya immediately thereafter. 3.) Desert Storm - 1991. Saddam Hussein asked for permission from the U.S. (via their ambassador, April Glaspie) to attack Kuwait, which had been asked by the U.S. to put pressure on Saddam to pay back money lent to fight against Iran. Kuwait was also illegally siphoning off oil from Iraqi fields. Saddam was told by Glaspie that the U.S. does not care about Arab quarrels. That was a trap, and after Saddam occupied Kuwait, George Bush Snr mobilised a coalition of some 40 nations to "liberate Kuwait" and to smash the recently-built Iraqi military power base. This also involved a media hoax, where the daughter of Kuwaiti U.S. ambassador played nurse on TV and testified to "witnessing" Iraqi soldiers throwing babies out of incubators in Kuwait. 4.) Enduring Freedom - 2001 Without any evidence, the former CIA-asset, Saudi Arabian Osama bin Laden, was claimed to be the mastermind behind the 9/11 strikes at the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon. The leaders of Afghanistan were willing to hand over Osama for trial to a neutral nation, but the U.S. refused this compromise. 5.) Enduring Justice - 2003 The claimed reason of the attack was that Iraq was a clear and present danger to the U.S., with WMD's available within less than an hour after the decision to assemble them had been made. 1 Like

This Aiyedatiwa is an over-ambitious snake and will meet his Waterloo sooner than expected. We all know how politics work in Nigeria. Whenever the Government or any parastatal issues a rebuttal, refuting any statement - it simply means the statement or story is true. Your principal was sick and you were busy scheming to take his place rather than standing by him in his vulnerable moments. History is littered with the corpses of over ambitious & impatient snakes who usurped the authority of their masters. There is a spiritual law that supersedes the man-made constitution of any Government. I love & respect Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu regardless of the accusations of his enemies & detractors. When it mattered most, Akeredolu was the only Governor in the Southwest that stood up and spoke against the menace of the Fulani Herdsmen and thwarted their proposed RUGA (Rural Grazing Area) policy - with the creation of Amotekun. For that singular act, the Lord Almighty will heal him and restore him back to his throne. 4 Likes |

Politics / Re: Fuel Price: Reject World bank's ₦750/Litre Proposal, NLC Warns FG by Saturnalia(m): 5:33am On Dec 15, 2023 |
The World Bank and the IMF have never meant well for any Afrikan Country. It’s this same World Bank, during the Buhari administration, that kept on hammering that fuel subsidy must be removed when they know there’s no concrete substitute (e.g refinery not working) to cushion its effects on the masses. IMF on the other does nothing but give stupid & nonsensical advice to policy makers in Afrikan Countries on monetary tightening like increasing taxes and devaluation of their currencies - when they already know the effects on the already beaten & battered citizenry. Tinubu took their advice without making due consultations and that’s why he’s back to square one (secretly paying fuel subsidy to the oil cabals) to stabilize the already destroyed economy. If he likes, he should take their stupid advice again by increasing fuel to 750/litre so that the hungry masses can begin to hunt down his family & cabinet members like kangaroos in the wild for food. It’s a no brainer. As bad & dumb as Buhari was, he knew better not to fall into their traps. These two organizations (World Bank & IMF) were set up by the slave masters to impoverish Afrikan Countries and keep them on their leash forever. Oloriburuku ni gbogbo won - including all the brain dead Afrikan policy makers that take their advice. 11 Likes |

They call me the Leopard - Cracking! But even Leopards get killed by Lions, Hyenas, Lightning.” I agree that the movie is average at best but I like it and I’m keeping it. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I love Nicolas Cage because he’s one of the best of the best. I came across Nick Cage when I watched “The Rock - 1996”. I was in Senior Secondary School then and didn’t understand much of the plot (without the subtitle) until I watched it again in 1999. I then watched “Con Air - 1997” and “Face Off - 1997” around year 2000. I have been hunting for his movies ever since. Tonight, I recommend the following best flicks of Nick Cage that I have been privileged to savour for your viewing pleasures. 1.) The Rock - 1996 8.5/10. This movie was directed by Michael Bay and it’s simply one of the best flicks that I cherish in my archive. Ed Harris and Sean Connery made me love this movie. The opening sequence where Ed Harris said: “Congressman Weaver and the esteemed members of the Special Armed Services Committee, I come before you to protest a grave injustice.” is always killing me. Another place I love so much was where Sean Connery said: “I’ve been in jail longer than Nelson Mandela, so maybe you want me to run for President.” This movie sweet die! 2.) Face Off - 1997 9/10. Goddamnit! This movie sweet die! Directed by the master himself “John Woo” I just can’t seem to get enough of this movie inspite of the fact that it’s an old movie. John Traviata was a bad ass motherfvcker and he totally killed this movie. 3.) Gone in 60 Seconds - 2000 7/10 This movie is not exceptionally good but it’s very entertaining. 4.) Lord of War - 2005 9.5/10 Ladies and gentlemen, this is my all time best flick of Nick Cage. I can assure you that this movie tripple sweet die! Notable Mentions: 1.) National Treasure: Book of Secrets - 2007 7/10 2.) Kick Ass - 2010 8/10. Enjoy! 4 Likes 1 Share

Baddestguyp: Martin Scorsese fall my hand big time. Killers of the Flower Moon has the same theme & pattern with Goodfellas - 1990. Dine with the devil, go with the flow due to the repercussions in case you try anything funny and then when the heat is turned up on you, capitulate and sell out your accomplices to the authorities just to save your ass. But Goodfellas is much more entertaining and beautifully captured. Even 50 Cent said in Many Men: “I'm like Paulie in Goodfellas, you can call me the Don” That film sweet gidi gan! I didn’t see any special VFX or costumes in the Killers of the Flower Moon that would have justified the ridiculous $200M budget. It’s just another overhyped movie by the Hollywood dickheads to show love to Martin Scorsese for his tremendous works over the decades. My ratings for the “Killers of the Flower Moon” remains 3/10 while Goodfellas is 9/10. I meant no offense BTW. 2 Likes |

Carot: I won’t judge you because I don’t judge people. It is understandable that some people’s brain are wired to only assimilate Nollywood & Bollywood movies, and when such people watch classic Hollywood masterpieces, their brains would never comprehend a single thing. For example, 2004 was the last time I watched any Nollywood movie (both English & Yoruba) because their plots & themes are so similar, watery & predictable. Another example, Nollywood movies would be playing Buga by Kizz Daniels or Davido’s Away not because those music go with the senseless story they are telling but because those songs are currently trending all over the Country. Bollywood movies on the other hand would produce a movie with a run time of 3hours and spend half of that time to be singing & dancing to incomprehensible songs. While I admit that I still have “3 idiots” and “RRR” in my archive, I can never add any Nollywood movie into my library even if it is produced & directed by Steven Spielberg or James Cameron - because 97% of their movies are ALWAYS centered on Cultism, Prostitution, Armed Robbery, Money Ritual & Clubbing. Although, there have been countless instances where some highly overhyped movies turn out to be complete disappointments but calling every commenter on this thread a liar is insulting. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. Drop your ratings on movies in this thread and move on. BTW, Oppenheimer is a masterpiece. The film sweet die! 9 Likes |

There are a lot of actors that I consider as my favorites and I pay utmost attention when watching any movie that features any of these brilliant actors. These actors, in no particular order, are Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Mark Warlberg, Ben Affleck, Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel (until now), Nicholas Cage, Clive Owen, Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. Sincerely, some of these actors have let me down with many of their recent movies, but I still hold them in high regards. Tonight, my focus is Jason Statham. Jason Statham is a stunning actor with amazing skills that will always keep you glued to your screen. I first came across this brilliant actor around 2003 when I watched “The Transporter - 2002”. I have been hunting for his movies ever since. I later watched “The Bank Job - 2008” and “The Mechanic - 2011” and I was very impressed. One of his movies that let me down was “Operation Fortune - 2023”. I had so much expectation for this movie after watching its trailer but I couldn’t delete it from my archive because of Hugh Grant’s performance. Another movie that left me less than impressed with Statham’s work was the recent “Meg 2: The Trench”. I love its prequel “The Meg - 2018” but unfortunately, the fire that kept me hungry for more was missing in the second part, which made me delete it. Nonetheless, In honour of this English martial artist that I respect so much, I recommend the following movies for your viewing pleasures. 1.) Killer Elite 2011 - 8.5/10. This is one of my best action movies of all time that I thoroughly enjoyed, featuring 3 of my favorite actors. 2.) Parker 2013 - 9/10. Jennifer Lopez’s comic relief made me love this movie. 3.) Mechanic: Resurrection 2016 - 8.5/10 Only a handful of actresses can match my love & respect for Jessica Alba. If no be condition wey make cray fish bend, na this kind woman I suppose marry. Even if she get any ugly character, I no go mind at all. I love this babe die! 4.) Wrath of Man 2021 - 9/10. I am always fascinated by any movie that has a theme of vengeance. This movie reminds me of Sho Kosugi’s quote in Ninja Assassin - 2009 (Another great movie that I love). “Weakness compels strength. Betrayal begets blood. This is the law of the nine clans”. Notable Mentions: 1.) Wild Card 2015 - 8/10. This is another movie that I thoroughly enjoyed. 2.) The Bee Keeper 2024 - Seeing the trailer of this movie, I am already jacked to the teeth in anticipation of the release of this masterpiece. 3 Likes 1 Share
