Travelpes: Dear house, Please I need your advice for one Egungun ,whether make he careful for express.
The applicant's Spouse did ielts again, got result S9L8.5R7.5W7.5 and their score improved from 472 to 478.
Will their chance of been invited be affected if they update their profile on the day of the draw?
Thanks. Tell them to update their profile tonight. These days, it takes about 24 hours to transmit the updated profile. If the profile is not fully submitted by the draw they wont get picked. But then again, they probably have nothing to worry about as hopefully 472 is very much safe. |

wondychiqe: Please my husband has an HND and PGD. He is the secondary applicant, I only evaluated his PGD as per the higher qualification. Am I on the right path? Will it be defined as 2 or more certificates? Or do I need to evaluate HND too? you should evaluate his HND too to qualify for 2 or more. |

Prettiepearlz: You seem to have an issue with the fact that people are using NYSC. When this same NYSC has been used by various permanent residents. You somehow chose to ignore the fact that the applicants weren't truthful and also the GCMS notes is the VOs opinion which can be overturned and contested. Instead you decided to focus on negativity, smiling and happy. Do you derive joy causing confusion? How about you bring out various applications with NYSC that has been accepted? Don't take this personal but you really need to chill. Positivity is the key and if you can't be, please be mute and don't say anything at all because you are not helping anyone with this gloating and causing more unnecessary questions. Do you also realize that VOs read through this thread and could be seeing your gloating as you confirming that all NYSC applicants are truly fraudulent people? And here you are trying to make an insinuation about gift deed again. I am sorry I have to do this but it's been long overdue, you really need to chill. There are genuine people willing to use their experience. It's a job experience also. You have your experience without having to supplement it with NYSC, congratulation, but remember not everyone is privileged like you. Be at least more positive and if you can't, please do us the favour of being quiet in situations like this. Sorry if you feel offended, however it is the truth and can be a bitter pill to swallow.
To everyone: Funny how this thread has gone into the hands of wrong advisers. Miss the days of Tospmamen Joo2018 Newmum0615, Adunnee, LadyMarshall, Yemiblaze, Ifeoma77, etrange, the two prominent people known for marking PPR scripts and a host of others whom I can't remember their moniker. I am sorry but SOME set of advisers on here seems angry at the world for something I don't understand I couldn't have said this better. After LadyMarshall, things just seemed to go downhill. So much anger and sarcasm on here. How are people going to learn if they are scared to ask questions?? |

abnot: I look at it differently . With the new policy lots of people will begin to take the TEF/TCF exams over the next few months and when they get into the pool armed with both french and English they’ll have scored above 500. When immigration Canada decided to select top 3900 with a good number above 500 the minimum CRS will be about 500. This will not happen this year but it’s a possibility next year if only it was that easy! It takes quite a long while to get that good at french. Most people I know get as little as 4 - 8 points after 6 months of study o. People who can get more points are native speakers, people who studied it for a year or more or people who are really good with languages. |

Sweetlikehoney: There's an 80% chance that the coming draw will be FST. Covid disrupted the usual way FST draws are done. COVID has disrupted everything. I doubt there'll be an FST draw anytime soon since there was one 2 months ago. If anything, we are due a B2B draw. But then IRCC is full of surprises. |

Elektra008: @prettiepearlz, first, I don't do banters so I will not respond beyond this. I did not call anyone a scammer, I advised the op to be very vigilant, that is all, you do not believe all you read in faceless forum like here hook, line and sinker. Moreso, if you have bean following this thread for a while, you will realise there are still people who come in here, post a seemingly innocent story, then end it with 'pm for advice' which does not help. We have been actively promoting page 1 to encourage people to do their personal research but it seems people just want to spoonfed info out here, smh. The materials on ielts on page one are very loaded and helpful but people hardly look into them. I used them to prepare for mine, and also joined a whatsapp tutorial class here and it helped. At least a clb 10 for a first time writer with no idea at all previously of ielts structure isnt too bad.
The idea I am putting across is simple, let us prompt people to research and look for info on things that have been made available, not fall into something they could later regret and not spamming the thread as that post would lead to with every newbies typing, 'send bla bla bla to my email', 'I have pmed you etc'. All the gurus of then that were so helpful to us then, peeps like ifeoma, Topsmamen, joo2018, 40man, new mum don't even bother to show up again to help. Why? Because the thread is now overrun with people looking unwilling to just go through page 1and their enablers; unfortunately, so many genuine questions are being ignored, because the people that could have helped are not seeing them in the myriad of unhelpful post here and there. I truly hope the thread does not degenerate further and goes back to the way it used to be. Peace! lol 90% of the time when I PM it's a way to get money out of you. A single person using more than 5 monikers. Hah! |

Prettiepearlz: Don’t be too quick to label people with names. While I understand that you were only trying to tell her to be vigilant, you indirectly called him a scammer in a subtle manner which is totally unacceptable as you don’t know him and can’t label him as such until proven otherwise. You could have passed your message in a better way than you did initially. Nobody would love being called a scammer especially when their intentions arne pure. Peace I get where you're coming from but you have to admit that on this thread, there are more scammers than you'd think. Some People here masquerade as if they have application issues meanwhile they are just looking for someone to fleece. It's the same on the CIMA and PNP thread too. So it's come to the point that you can only trust certain monikers. Although it is good to know that the guy was just honestly trying to help. |

About taking the Ican - CIMA conversion route. Am I good to go or I start from BA1 etc...

Thanks since you already have a masters, you don't need CIMA. Master's will give you 8 more points. unless you just want to do CIMA for career boosting Sha. |

chanceux: Lol I understand your concerns, but this PPR race is all about faith.
The liberals promised an increase in the quota for immigration to about 350k. The implication is that they might increase the draw size to 4k per each draw. If this is the case then the cut off can't be sustained at 470 or so. It'll come down to 450's.
Nothing is certain, we only act by faith. Isn't it better for her to get ready so that she jumps into the poll once the score starts coming down? Than to miss it completely??
Remember this quote "If we try, we might win, if we don't try we have LOST" I like your optimism. There have been too many negative posts here lately. A major miracle would be the CRS scores taking a dive and theres also the possibility of snagging a NOI. |

Goodbloke: I understand that it’s a skilled trade , but the issue here is I want to further my studies there as I currently only have an SSCE result only and at the same time and also work as a plumber
Is this possible? Ofcourse. most students do that ... school and work at the same time. its up to you to choose if you want to go through the admissions route or federal skilled trade route. i suggest you read up on both. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by sauuron: 8:54pm On Oct 22, 2019 |
Maybe you should try reading up on the federal skilled trades program. to the best of my understanding, plumbing is a skilled trade and you dont need a university degree for that. Goodbloke: Can a plumber apply under the skilled program?
I also want to apply for visa in Canada to study computer science?
Are there any age restrictions to this things as am currently 24years ?
I currently hold an SSCE certificate
What is the best route for me? |
