NUGA is like Olympic, it involves all sports.

HIFL is like World Cup, it involves only football

Thanks for the clarification.

I don't need to know you before I call you out for speaking crap. Your 4 point means nothing to me cos it can't be verified.

In the present day Nigeria, no course is immune to job droughts. Even assumed premium courses like law and medicine are not left out in the ever expanding jobless wilderness.

I have seen third class individuals nail decents jobs by various means and tomorrow they will come out and say reading to have good grades is useless cos they made it.

Stop misinforming people.

I am not misinfirming anyone, it's my opinion and a lot of fellow graduates of these same courses has agreed with my opinion. I doubt you studied Zoology or Botany. Because, if you did, you won't be saying this.

I have classmates who even proceeded to get their Msc in top universities in Nigeria, and till date, No job. A lot have resigned to fate by taking up teaching appointment.
As some more reasonable peeps observed earlier in the thread, it's not really the course, but rather the country. Zoologists and Botanists are Meant to be researchers, but we do not have research institutes(those we gave are government owned) and you know how government employment goes.
As a graduate of zoology, I ended up looking out for graduate trainee programs and Bank Jobs because, they are open to all field.
As I reiterated, I work with one of the Big 4, life is cool, but I Zoology offered me nothing even with a 4. CGPA and being the second best graduating in my set.

I believe I owe it to the young ones to inform them to seek for a better course early.

Lol no course is nonsense, only that you would find it difficult to practice those courses in Nigeria. There are many graduates that studied those courses that are doing well though not in their field.

But you are contradicting yourself na. If I study zoology and work in a bank or in an accounting firm. Is d Zoology not useless?

Correct lie. Nothing at all.

I won't advice my enemy to study them.

What have I used all the classifications, entomology, physiology and parasitology for?

I haven't seen any job opening that requests for graduates of Zoology or Botany. None.
Microbiology and biochemistry are even better.

You obviously came out with very poor grades hence your life was negatively impacted since you are a dull tool.

Go and salvage what is left of you than disparage two great courses.

Young man, you don't know me. If you do, then you won't spill trash.
Did you study any of the two courses?

I came out second best in my department with a GPA of 4.

And yes, I have a job with one of the big 4 auditing firms.

Still I maintain it. Those courses are useless.

Greatest fellow Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari have put up the mandate to us to make Nigeria great again by declaring his intention for second term.
This man means we'll for Nigerians,
He entered office in 2015:
1. And since 2016,boko-haram became handicap to attack and other terrorist groups like ipob are now exterminated and their leader dead somewhere.
2. And now Looters are afraid of the name Nigeria.
3. And all is set for the payment of 5000 to all Nigerian youths.
4. And now bag of rice that was N22000 is N5000.
5. And now though dollar is high, it decreasing rate shows that in the next quarter of the year, 000.01 naira will be equal to 1 dollar and perhaps people have never been this rich in other regime compare to our great PMB regime.
6. Millions of employment everyday as those who were even sack are now getting more better jobs.
7. No strikes in our tertiary institutions again.
8. Great infrastructures now showing up every now and then both in the SS, SE, NE, NW, NC, SW... Just name it.
9. Improvement in public health care that even the president son and family are now attended to medically in Nigeria.
10. Nigeria is now written with integrity all over the world that if we can extend PMB tenure to 2023 and even add more years, a permanent seat in the UN is sure for us.
11. Industry are now working that we can now see self-driven cars on our highways.

Let support this man of change forever.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My Fiance His Getting Frustrated Please Help! by savio93(m): 4:21pm On Jul 09, 2018
First of all, getting a job in Nigeria demands two things.
Age- if he is above 26 then trouble dey.
Experience - if he is above 26 with some job experiences, then he can apply for experience hire.
Then his grade in the University is important.
You don't just come here and say he is a graduate. (Did he make a first class or 2.1 and still has no job?) Or a 2.2 ,third class. All these are important. ( yea, truth be said, there are still unemployed first class and 2.1 graduates)

Back to the question, if the guy above offered a job opportunity of 25k, I would counter that by asking your fiance to find a teaching position in Abuja, I believe schools in Abj can do better than 25k.

Finally, for the past six months I have been at home seriously job hunting. I was offered an internship in Jumia for a pay of 43k. I declined it.
So you can tell him to send his Cv to Jumia.
I believe they are still recruiting for the Operation support internship.
But it is in Lagos, not Abuja.
This is my humble opinion.

PS: I finally landed a job with a multinational recently.
