Hello guys, I have some issues with my network. I noticed last week Wednesday that it locks out user accounts randomly even when no wrong password is entered. I used a tool Lockout status from Microsoft to narrow down where the lockouts were coming from, i noticed it was from the primary domain controller. I have received over a hundred calls to unlock accounts, this morning i just changed the lockout policy which used to be Account lockout - 10 mins Account lockout threshold - 20 invalid logons Reset account lockout counter after - 10 mins to 1 min 20 invalid logons 1 min I know it's not a secure thing to do, but this is just a stop gap pending when i get a solution. Is there anything i'm missing, help guys. |

John 14:12: "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. (ESV) Yes miracles are for real; and anybody can perform them as long as his belief is anchored in Christ. |
Talk about wanting to dine with the devil |
A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. isn't that what they say?. |
To tell her point blank is courting disaster, she will never forgive you. But still, i'll say tell her, but not in way she will feel hurt, and as someone as earlier said praise her strengths first . If she loves she will be willing to improve. Goodluck! |
I wasn't suprised at the result, i just went to get entertained, and at the end of the show of shame, i achieved my goal. lol . ![]() |

It is quite straight foward, check out this link http://www.igetmail.com/how-to-setup-exchange-server-2003.html. Before installing exchange you have to install these windows services Microsoft .NET Framework Microsoft ASP.NET World Wide Web service Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) service Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) service Also after making sure of DNS and Active Directory, it is advisable you run forestprep and domain prep, before installing exchange proper and you can do that by typing d:\setup\i386\setup.exe /forestprep. When that is done you also run d:\setup\i386\setup.exe /domainprep, and d: depends on your cdrom drive letter. You can then run exchange by typing d:\setup\i386\setup.exe or you can follow the other method as specified by the site above. I hope this helps |
gradewilli:You mentioned that the vista workstations use dns for name resolution, you also ask how to configure the same dns. Anyways, although you did not say what server os your company uses, but i presume its windows server 2003, its quite easy to configure a dns server, just follow click on the link below http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814591 . Talking about fault tolerance, you have to find out exactly what your company wants in order to be able to decide on which of the RAIDs to use. I hope this help, if not still feel free to still point out the gray areas, will be glad to be of help. _______________________ MCP, MCSA, MCSE |

@Midas Lagos is estimated to have a population of somewhere between 9 million and 16 million denizens!. A quick look at Lagos and even a nut-case can easily come to the conclusion that a Metro-Rail service is desperately needed!. Lagos has become a nightmare, a hellish habitation with no evidence of intelligent plan or foresight, an agglomeration of relentless anarchy intermingled with chaotic and miserable depravation, an unworkable and lawless cornurbation of mythical proportions, a convoluted maze of unbearable gridlock and unproductive quadmires. The Denizens of Lagos spend unimaginable hours in desperate transition - sweating, cursing, fighting, struggling and pushing against all odds and accomplishing little. Billions and billions worth of productivity and purposeful living is thrown out of the window everyday!. The cost to the nation and to the health of those affected is at the very least inmmeasurable. For any leader or government to observe this and have nothing to offer year after year by way of planning and relief is an unfortunate disaster, a collossal error of judgement, a great shame and an outrage! We have never had a government worthy of its name and this is evidenced in the state of affairs in the Nation. If we think the nation is distressed, then Lagos is even more so and the heart of this problem is the successive elevation of mindless, depraved and worthless men to positions of authority. Needlessly, the current state of Lagos can be described in two words - incomprehensible carnage!!Do you have to use these words to be heard, *quoting a friend whom i sent this post to* anyways your article is right on point. I really believe a city of this magnitude should have all these things you have mentioned and even much more. I know we can pull this off, it's just a matter of time. |
