Good afternoon House!

Can anyone help with a contact for affordable accommodation in Houston Close to West Houston or Memorial Hermann hospital? I will be travelling in April at 34weeks and will be using Dr Z. I haven't decided on hospital yet because of accommodation and the prices I've been getting from birth concierges I've been talk to are outrageous. Airbnb is also expensive at this time.

Kindly help a sister. My budget is 800-1200usd(ensuite) per month.

Thanks!

Check out Relux at Westchase. That’s where wifey plan using.

Thank you @Pwinkle1. I got a response from Dr F. yesterday with the quote.

Dear Mama's,
I have some concerns....

It was mentioned in the mail that mothers expecting a singleton should arrive by 34 weeks. I have bought flight tickets already and I will arrive by 35 weeks 4 days. Should I be concerned?

$200 is required to be paid for appointment date to be issued. Does Oakbend accept this payment by transfer? I don't have someone that can help me pay by cash?

If I sort out No 2. concern above, will I be registered at 36 weeks in Oakbend MC given by No. 1 concern.

Thank you in advance

@Chipe I just sent you a DM. I’d appreciate if you could reply for us to connect. I am traveling to Houston 1st week of April. Same hospital as yours. Due date is May 16.

Lols. Top 4 biggest financial services firms in Nigeria ( PWC, KPMG, EY and Deloitte) accept candidates from any field of study inasmuch as he or she graduated with not less than 2:1 and he or she is less than 26.

You will be trained and mandated to write professional accounting exams (ICAN or ACCA)

The best position wasn't really fixed. Two boys and two girls were in the top four - One is a medical Doctor, Me, A Nurse and a Lawyer

Secondary school:
It was a tight contest between me and a guy. He is now a Medical Doctor.

University:
Tight contest between 3 guys. One is working with an indigenous oil servicing firm. The other guy is yet to find a good job. Then me

Aren't doing badly. Studied Chemical Engineering. Worked in one of the top 4. About to become a Chartered Accountant. Waiting to resume with one of the biggest 2 lettered name US multinational conglomerate in Nigeria as a Commercial Finance analyst.

My Experience.

I started my interview say around 9:50pm or so. I entered, greeted and sat. I was asked to introduce myself, I did. Mr Tonye even told me to clap for myself. I was already feeling like a Chief. It was time to pick a number from the basket. Of all the numbers my hand could pick, it was freaking number 9 embarassed. The topic was "Love is not a feeling but a business". I could argue for or against.

I was blank, I kid not. I asked for some seconds to gather my thoughts. Is it not when you have thoughts that you can gather them sad? My head, brain and all its components decided to betray me at the last minute. I attempted arguing for. I mumbled one two-line poem, and fuel finished.

The Board tried all they could to juggle my head. They told me to replace the love with like. They said I should replace like with the person I like. They said I should scream out (one of them helped me scream but I couldn't scream 'cause I really can't consciously). One of them used Valentine to see if it could work. They even sang for me Lagbaja's Wherever You Go. Ladies and Gentlemen, my brain was just being silly.

I now decided to argue against. I said some stuff I can't even remember. Mr Tonye had to thank me for my time grin. I felt I didn't do well and had to apologise (whether that was a wrong move or not, I know not).

All in all, I really liked the Board. They made me feel super comfortable. They had nice, welcoming expressions on their faces; the kind that is interested in what you have to say. They were some young people there; people who are in their thirties, some forties, two or three in their fifties.

Modified:
Till now, I still can't conjure up what I would have said. I am not going to blame my head again. If you have any idea of what I could have said, kindly tell.

You could have argue for.

You could have explained that love is not a feeling but source of benefits which could be monetary, sexual, etc.

You could have further explained that lots claimed to be in a relationship (business transaction) because of what they're benefiting (which to you is the profit).

They gave you pointers from their songs and side talks!

Stay hopeful and I wish you the best.
